Finding this place was like finding a unicorn.An honest and competent automobile technician is hard to find. What a breath of fresh air. The owner is there and is aware of everything going on in his shop. He wrenches on the cars himself also, working right along his employees who are lucky to be there learning from him how to be an honest and successful business owner. A class act all the way. Honest, forthright, and accommodating, he's my mechanic for life.My former mechanic was in syosset and I would drop my car off and take the train home to stonybrook. We worked together for 30+ years until he passed away. This young man is from the same mold and he's much closer to my home. I'm am fortunate to have found him. He worked on my CRV and Jetta. Problems corrected. No pressure or even a subtle hint that I should do unnecessary work. Just an honest mechanic, worth his weight in gold.

Hondaman is THE best mechanic I've worked with in all my years. Ryan is friendly, professional, and very fair when it comes to my repairs. He's worked on my 2007 Altima many times to keep it running the best it can and I've always been pleased with the results. I also appreciate a person who remembers you by name; it goes a long way. They're a very busy shop, but Ryan has came through last minute a few times to resolve crucial issues with my car. I can't thank Ryan and his crew enough. Highly recommended!

Did a couple of major repairs with Ryan on a 2008 Honda Accord Found him to be honest, trustworthy and dependable. He s a man of his word, and has the technical knowledge and experience that you can t find the most places. Highly recommend.

Ryan and Matt are some of the best techs you would want working on your car. I recently had the clutch replaced in my 2016 VW GTI by Hondaman. I called Ryan to explain my problem with the car and we scheduled a day for service. Professional and great communication with excellent results. Honda or otherwise you should definitely have your car repaired/serviced here. My GTI finally shifts like new again.

2010 Honda CRV LX 118kUpdated on 10/29/2023An honest, knowledgeable, affordable mechanic. I needed A lot of work done. Local Honda dealer was upselling. Repair quotes for work I didnt need and inflated quotes for what I did need. Not only did Ryan save me money, he saved me time. He didnt upsell. Rather, he pointed out what I didn't need done. Ryan knows his stuff. Certified Honda/Acura but works on all makes/models. I am very satisfied. We are a Honda family. And now my family's Hondas have a local repair shop for life. Ryan is a great guy besides a great mechanic. I have been going to him for years and he is very honest. Great businessman, and easy to get along with. Always takes care of any problems. Ever seen another repair place with a 4.9 on google? There is a reason. Best place to take your car, and the rating should be a solid 5. Anyone rating less than 5 has expectations that nobody could ever meet. These guys are honest and trustworthy and know what they are doing. They won't waste your time or your money. Best place to go for any problems with your car. Ryan is number 1. Don't go anywhere else.

Whoever said there's no such thing as an honest auto mechanic is wrong. The only problem I have here is you cant give more than 5 stars. When I needed a new catalytic converter on my 2010 CR-V, Ryan made it virtually painless. His prices are more than fair, the quality of the work is excellent, and the atmosphere is professional. Forget the Honda dealer and get your butt over here. I promise you won't regret it.

Great mechanic. Trust worthy and honest. The guy Ryan knows his stuff and will not rip you off. Bright my 2010 jobs Accord with multiple issues to him and he had it taken care of in no time. And it cost a lot less then expected

Great honest respectful mechanic shop. I go to him for work on my cars when I have something I can't handle myself and he gets it done and uses all the right parts. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend

Easily the best mechanic around, at least that I'm aware of. I've been to plenty of other mechanics and was recommended to Ryan through family and I've never looked back. Consistently provides excellent service, fair prices, and an abundance of honesty and integrity. If the perfect rating on google doesn't convince you, then I advise you go check for yourself as his work speaks for itself. I had a bed experience with another shop fixing a header on my ram truck. Even though it s not a Honda, Ryan did a great job and did NOT overcharge. He easily could have but was honest and did the right thing I will use him for every repair now and definitely will refer friends. Pleasant and on time. I don t even live close by but it s worth the drive !Service: Exhaust

My accords service minder came up with transmission fluid change and brake fluid change. So I looked for a honda repair shop and this was the only one I saw with good reviews. They did the work and my car is on the road again. They are friendly and reasonable with prices. I would steer clear of the dealership service and come here for major things. Thx hondaman.

If you want an honest service shop, this is the place to go. I just visited them today for my state inspection. I don't live in the neighborhood but I don't mind driving 15 miles since the shop that I have been using for the last 20 years started nickel and diming me. I had used Hondaman in the past for my other vehicle timing belt/water pump replacement. Ryan and Matt are very honest people .Highly recommended.

Best shop on the island. Super honest and really cares about the customers. I don t have a Honda, but I take my Dodge Challenger and Nissan Rogue here over the dealer. My brother also took his Toyota Tacoma here for drivetrain issues and they fixed it. ( bad U Joints)

My first time at Hondaman. According to a Acura Dealership I needed a Powersteering rack and pump For my 2001 MDX. I was told that the vehicle was not safe to drive. Ryan checked out the vehicle and saw no issue except for a minor leak. He saved me approximately $1700.00 in repairs. Great to see that there are still honest business owners. I highly recommend Ryan for your automotive Maintenance work.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

After leaving my local repair shop which new owners ruined. I tried Honda man and am very happy with them. Great, honest service which is hard to find I ve been in a few times now for basic service and some repairs, never disappointed.

Ryan is always upfront, honest, and does great work.I ve had a number of smaller things taken care of here and most recently had him look into an AC problem I was having. Fixed it fast and for an extremely reasonable price.Do yourself a favor and bring your car here for honest service, great pricing, and knowing you ve help support the local business of an honest and hardworking mechanic.

Excellent service, reasonable prices and outstanding work! Was even nice enough to replace my license plate screws at no extra charge. Came recommended by family. Knows his specialty and loves doing it! Have to respect that!! Highly recommended for imports especially Honda and Acura!
