I cannot say enough good things! Every time I ve brought my car to them, they ve done excellent work without robbing me blind like the dealerships try to do. They re quick, kind, and always honest. I m sure there must be repair shops out there that are just as good, but I don t think you d be able to find one better.

I have been going to Jerry since he moved to this location. I can't tell you how many times I stopped for an issue or a question, and he and/or Neil didn't charge me. All of their work is professional, efficient and reasonable. Jerry is knowlegeable about all of the cars I have brought to him, and can diagnose anything. They never try to sell you an unnecessary service or repair. I would never go to another repair shop. I have driven by many times and seen them working late into the night. I highly recommend this shop.

Thank you to DJs A-Z auto repair for making my holiday wishes come true and bringing my VW Jetta back from the dead. I could not be more grateful to Jerry for really helping out a single mom!! I would completely trust this shop and will continue to use in the future!

Neil is the best! I ve had an ongoing issue with my 2019 Jeep, with the same light on for 2 years! I ve brought it to 2 Jeep dealership and another shop. Both Jeep dealers claimed there was nothing wrong with my Jeep. The other shop replaced my vacuum pump and brake booster, and still wasn t fixed properly. It was NEVER fixed properly until Neil stepped in. He was so helpful with explaining issues with my car to me. Very polite and professional!! This is the place to go, for all your auto repair needs!!

These guys are the best!! Jerry and Neil went above and beyond to make sure everything was top notch on my car! They were honest and trustworthy and fixed everything in such a timely matter! I made an appointment with Jerry for yesterday; got all the way over there and they were closed. No call or sign out. Very unprofessional. From the reviews I see this is a habit for them. I am not the only person complaining about this issue; please review the comments and you will see it is not a coincidence. It is childish and unprofessional the way they treat customers.

These are good working honest men, I ve been going to this shop for years, and they will work with you, when they see you at a low point the men here do not try and rip you off, but they will create away for you to get what you need and the work they do is of excellent service, if you re not getting serviced here you re missing out, God bless this shop!

Jerry and Neil were so helpful and honest in working with them. Their prices were reasonable and honest. My car has run the best it has in years and I am so thankful for finding a reliable mechanic as it is so hard to come by these days. I recommend it them to all in the area who need their cars fixed!

This is the best Auto Repair shop in Long Island in my view. I have been to numerous shops and either been overcharged or dissatisfied with the service. Jerry and team make it so easy - if I have to leave the car - they give me a ride back home. The work they perform on all my car is amazing and beyond satisfactory. The prices they charge are very reasonable for the services I have done to my car and save me a ton of money over other shops and dealers. I would not trust anyone but D J's Auto Repair for all my car repair needs. Please note that the shop is very busy and it is best to make an appointment ahead of time..Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

I have been going here for forty years. Jerry is the ONLY person I will EVER let work on my car. He is fair, honest and has never charged me for work I didn't need. Whenever I brought my car to him, he was pleasant, fast and thorough, Any work he has done has not had to be redone. You get A1 fast reliable expert service and advice. His prices are fair and reasonable.

My family and I have been going here for years. I moved, but still drive 50 min to their shop for any car service I need. They are honest, helpful and professional; couldn t recommend it more. Jerry is the best!

Shop was recommended to me by a local businesses owner. They surpassed my expectations, doing a needed repair quickly and at a fair price. Will definitely be bringing my vehicles here in the future. As a side note they have an excellent waiting room, it's the bar next door.

Horrible experience, for the most part I trusted the owner but no longer trust the service or the mechanics.These people stole my 2003 MR2 transmission & wanted me to pay them to reinstall it. My trusted mechanic who replaced clutch told me the transmission that was in the car wasn t my transmission. The vehicle had approximately 40,000 miles when they took out the transmission & told me I needed a new clutch.There was nothing wrong with the clutch when the car was left for an oil change.Steer clear of these thieves. I think it was done because I am a minority female.God has a place for people who take advantage of others.

Jerry has been my mechanic for 25 years, ever since I stopped fixing my cars myself. Work is always quality. Diagnosis is always correct. Car is always ready on the same day I drop it off. I never go anywhere else.

Over an hour from home, and I drove over a shard of metal that shred one of my tires. No spare. I quickly Google nearby mechanics, praying for a miracle since its well past closing time--nearly 7pm. I call two mechanics and they refuse to help. Luckily, I see DJ's just up the road and cross my fingers. Not only did they open up the shop, despite being moments away from starting their dinner, they refused to even take a tip. They went above and beyond for me...it wont be forgotten.

I can't comment on the quality of a very complex job, but I can comment on Jerry's ability to help out in a pinch. We were driving a long distance trip and noticed a weird noise with acceleration. We panicked, then subsequently found Duane & Jerry's shop. Jerry did a once-over on the car and noticed that one of the mud flaps had gotten loose (phew, that's it!) and repaired it no cost immediately for us. Of course all it took was a 2 cent plastic nut to fix the issue, but I appreciated the time and the gesture nonetheless. Really helpful and kind service -- if I lived nearby there, I'd definitely follow up and check back. Thanks again, Jerry!

Made an appointment for a NYS inspection, showed up, car wouldn't pass because of a window tint... no problem. Made a second appointment after I removed the tint, I showed up and they were closed, didn't give me a call to let me know before I took time out to go to the shop. Called the next day for another appointment, grumpy man answers the phone, made it for 2 days later. Showed up for that appointment, no one has any idea my appointment exists, says they're so busy it's going to take all day. They won't be getting another opportunity to waste my time.

Why did it take me 35 years to find a great mechanic??? I'm just grateful i did... Honest and hardworking group of mechanics who care about the customer....Def give them a try, you will not regret it!

Made an appointment for DMV inspection last week. Arrived 15 minutes earlier today during my lunch break only to find it to be closed. Why would you schedule an appointment if you re closed on that day? Or at least have the courtesy to call the customer.

I have been to Jerry for 40 plus years...fantastic honest reliable ,,never been charged for anything not done..Don't take my cars anywhere else
