The owner Steve is unbelievable. I brought my 1968 bronco in for a suspension lift, disc brakes , rims and tires and power steering. Steve doesn t nickel dime you on extra parts because he won t let a vehicle leave that s not safe to drive. I was so happy with the price and how the Bronco drove. Steve told me to bring bronco back after I put some miles on it , so he can make sure everything is perfect. I m glad to go to a honest old school mechanic.

Went to Autokicks for a 6inch suspension lift, rims, tires & Power Step for my 2017 F-150. Steve was awesome!! He spent over an hour explaining all the different options. No pressure sale. He's been in the business for almost 30 years. He knows what he's talking about! Gave me the best price & my truck came out amazing!! Very happy with the workmanship & quality of the build! I'll be going to him for all my truck needs! Highly recommend!

This place is top notch. Best place on Long Island to customize your Jeep. Steve is a class act. He took so much time understanding exactly what I was looking to accomplish, he showed me options, he gave me pros and cons of each choice and made it such a pleasurable experience to get educated and then do the work lift my JK and put some new rims, tires, and side steps. I will continue to use Steve for all my customization work going forward!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

Local family owned shop, Steve is very friendly and out of the many shops I visited he was the only one to actually look at my vehicle and understand what I was going for. Ended up getting tires, wheels, a level kit and steps installed and they did it all in one day despite me not being their only customer. Would definitely recommend this shop and plan on using them again.

Just writing a quick review my experience at Auto kicks with Steve and his staff was amazing definitely going back for more all my questions asked and he was straight forward he installed a 5 inch lift on my 2019 ram rebel with Air ride. I highly recommend Autokicks to anyone looking to customize your vehicle. Steve did an amazing job with my Jeep Willy installing new LED head and tail lights. He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the auto industry and has decades of experience. He explained his thoughts and what he was going to do with my Jeep in a very professional and intellectual manner. Steve is one of the nicest guys I ve met as well. I was referred to AutoKicks by my local repair facility that couldn't handle some work that I needed on my sports car. They came highly recommended. I went over and spoke to the owner Steve. Steve was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. They did great work at a fair price and in a timely manner. If you need professionals to work on your car, this is the place to go. I'm critical and hard to please when it comes to my car. These guys understand quality and provide quality service like it's routine. I couldn't be more pleased These guys will not let you down. Highly recommended!

I ve been going to Steve s shop for over 15 years. Never lets me down. Every time I need something he has it or he gets it for me I never hesitate to call or go to shop to get the upgrades to all my cars and trucks. Always leave a happy customer. Just had my truck leveled and rims put on it. The customer servise was 5 stars. Steve listened to what look I was trying to achieve and accommodated 100%. This company knows there stuff. Highly recommend them. I will be coming back .

If your looking for quality workmanship, honesty, and integrity DO NOT go to Autokicks because of poor workmanship and Steve's lack of honesty and mechanical experience. The truck is still not fixed AFTER MONTHS OF BEING INSTALLED.Service: TiresService: Tires

This is the best car and truck specialty shop I have ever used! The owner steve and his staff are very knowledgeable and there are no limits to what they can do. I have had 3 different vehicles customized by them and I get nothing but compliments on them! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something as simple as tires and rims to complete restoration!

I've been using auto kicks since 2002 when I put the first set of wheels on my Dodge Ram. Then he did my Range Rover sport, then my grand Cherokee, then my 1973 ford bronco, then my Jeep Wrangler 4 door. I keep coming back because he has a good vision for helping me choose a wheel and I am always satisfied with the results beyond! I also had Steve do a transmision change and fix the front end on my classic bronco as well rebuild my chassis on my 1970 chevelle. His mechanic Frank and paint guy mike are fantastic. Highly recommend from one business owner to another he's got it right. Customer service is important to me and I am leaving this review to tell everyone I am 100% satisfied and looking to do more. Thanks again for all the good work auto kicks.

Brought my wrangler in the first time to have an aftermarket bumper installed. My first impression was the place is very clean and professional with the staff being very friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped my Jeep off around noon and he had it done within a couple hours which was very appreciated because the jeep is my daily driver and being without a car for a day would have not been ideal. The second time I brought my Jeep in I had him clean up the wiring for the light bar because the previous owner of my Jeep did a horrible job. Again the car was done within 1 day. Not only did he clean up the wiring he installed an entirely new harness in order to make it look more professional. Beyond happy with the work they do at this shop and will be returning here for any future work that needs to be done.

I have been in the auto business my entire life. I brought my car to steve when none of my guys knew how to get it done. We basically built my 66 chevelle from the ground up. His knowledge and professionalism exceeded my expectations. He turned my dream car into a reality. Do not make the mistake and use one of the other guys! Thanks auto kicks!

From a broken shock to squeezing 800+ HP from my truck, I'm treated with professional prompt service and a fair and reasonable price, something that is a rare and surprising occurrence these days.

I had a wonderful experience getting my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK lifted and fitted with 33" tires. They are very knowledgeable on the does and don't of lift kits!

Had Steve and his crew update my 1969 Firebird , mini tubbed the rear , new flaming river tilt steering along with Detroit Speed tight ratio steering box , new suspension, new leather interior , Dakota digital dash upgrade, disk brakes all around , 5 speed conversion married to my 455 Pontiac block , new baffled gas tank and fuel pump.And what they said they were going to deliver in price and service they did.........priceless

OUTSTANDING!!!! Can't say enough about Steve and the AUTOKICKS crew. They did a full resto on my 70 Challenger. It was a huge project and it came out beautiful. Great knowledge base, attention to detail and the drive to do it right the first time, instead of a quick ( shut the customer up and get it out the door) fix. Anyone who has done a project like this knows there WILL be obstacles. Not everything goes smoothly and this crew won't stop until they find the solution, and the right one at that.

For over 20 years I ve been having Steve and his crew perform wheel and tire upgrades, repairs and customizations to my vehicles... whether it was a Honda Prelude, Jeep Grand Cherokee or Tesla... they ve always done the job quickly, for the right price... never had an issue which is why I keep going back year after year...
