I have come to Tallman s black river boulevard location a few times to service a couple of my vehicles. My van had a check engine light on. This happened right after I was caught in a hurricane in South Carolina with severe road flooding. The manager of the store Aaron Potter got me right in, diagnosed the issue quickly and ordered the parts that were needed. He got it fixed really quick and saved me a pretty penny too. I came back to him a month later to get some all season tires on the vehicle as the tires I had on were becoming unsafe to drive in winter conditions. I called all the tire places in the area and Aaron s price was the best. Again he got me right in, got it all installed quickly while saving me money. I d recommend this place to anyone and am very thankful to Aaron s great customer service and knowledge.

Manager Aaron knows his stuff. Tell him what the car is doing, and he will tell you why it s doing it. Ask him a question and he will answer it without being a know it all. A smaller operation than most repair shops, but sometimes, smaller is better. My go to place for years and recommend Aaron and his staff highly.

Great place for automotive repair and tires. Quality service. Ordered tires yesterday, in and on the car today as promised despite short on help. Store manager Aaron rolled up his sleeves and mounted them himself. No standing behind the counter for him. Thanks Aaron.

I have been here multiple times since they reopened this location and I can tell you they are amazing. Store manager Aaron and assistant Tim are hands down some of the best around. Always treat me with class and dignity when it comes to all my car needs. This is the only place that will ever get my service as long as these 2 are there.

Aaron and his team are great to work with ,very knowledgeableHe explained numerous items to me about tires and did what I requested when I took my car inI use to go to another place nearby but stopped going after numerous issuesNow I'll only go to Tallmans on Black River Blvd.Thank You AaronYou just gained a new customer

Over the years of dealing with several different shops I finally stumbled upon a shop where I feel extremely comfortable dealing with the service and the aptitude of the people that you have on the Black River boulevard tallman's location I'm extremely happy with Aaron at the shop there he explains everything that needs to be done is courteous doesn't go overboard. The work that needs to be done he'll go through everything in detail that really has to be done then he is mindful of the budget that I have anything that would be able to be held off he'll let me know give me a timeline where he'll take care of the most important things and let me know when I should pay attention to the other parts that might have to be attended to which is always a nice thing pricing is very fair he's on time with when he says the job will be done it's done I brought my car there a few times prior to that coming up to this evaluation after a few times I've really made my mind up that this is definitely the place to go when all my automotive needs are needed with any of my automotive needs all of my cars will be brought to this shop because I feel confident that things will be done right everything will be done at a fair and reasonable price and I really have nowhere else that I would want to go

I was on my way home in Albany, NY after spending Christmas out in Buffalo, NY when I discovered the shield for the engine guard on my Ford Escape was hanging. I knew of Tallmans in Rome, NY. I took a chance going there without an appointment. Aaron Potter who is the store manager couldn t have been more accommodating and kind. He corrected my problem in less that 15 minutes. Talk about customer service! Aaron is an asset to Tallmans. I could not thank him enough for helping me. Tallmans Auto Repair is the best!

2024 March - 0 Stars150 dollars to a simple code diagnose.Ended up going else where and the other place was able to help us.Just sit at the counter playing on your phone.

Came into switch some tires off Matt and Aaron where nothing but helpful. While waiting Aaron showed me some tires i was looking for and hooked me up with exactly what i needed while Matt got my car in and out, nothing but great service.

Oh, trying to get a credit card online through them and they denied me because of my fixed income, Why does it matter a word I do work or do not work I just don t understand but I guess they don t want peoples business because if you don t have them a job, you can t get their credit card that s a shame
