Avoid this place at all costs! Not said lightly! The owner is the most contentious hotheaded individual I ve ever dealt w at any business. He has non-existent service skills & continually berated me. The man simply couldn t have an amicable convo bc he just couldn t stop himself from interjecting & talking over us the entire time! When I tried to explain to him how a civil conversation should work & common courtesy, he told me I was babbling ! Just absolutely abysmal the way he treated us. They will not hold themselves liable/accountable for their negligence/errors/oversights that cause damage. They operate without integrity or an ounce of centricity. Their conduct is absolutely reprehensible! There is ZERO consideration/prioritization of customers needs & they do not honor their work or take any pride in it. I feel the owner is a crooked & corrupt man, who will blatantly lie to cover himself & take zero responsibility for egregious oversights on their behalf, as well as omission of pertinent info.I called & spoke to their receptionist today. She assured me that when their shop replaced tie rods recently, they did an alignment. Her exact words were, we always perform an alignment automatically anytime when we do tie rods. (And every mechanic admits this is usually the case too). So I verbally confirmed that info again w receptionist 2x. She assures me alignment was done. However, when I called back later to explain that my car was in shop bc our brand new front tires went bald after 2K miles (post tierod work), (caused by not being aligned), they instantly became combative & defensive, trying to retract their words & fumbled over themselves. Stories changed now! Today I was told by 2 reputable mechanics that they didn t align my car at all, which ate away 2 new tires in a few months. The shop lied & said they aligned it, & then owner basically told me to go pound sand after learning of damages caused by their negligence. He said he wouldn t work with me & that I could try taking him to court, etc. They cost us around $300 to remedy their negligence. Possibly more. I simply asked to be refunded for the cost of tires, as they didn t align the car like they said, OR inform us that it was necessary after tie rods. But it gets worse. Then the owner proceeded to tell me the reputable mechanic who s fixing my car, was lying about the standard protocols & more. The nearby shop who is fixing my car advised Premos had been sending alignment jobs to them after this type of work because Premos machine broke. So when I asked the owner why I wasn t given the same service/standard of care as their other customers, essentially being singled out, he then switched up & told me it was due to the cost . So the story kept changing, excuse after excuse. The guy told me I was trying to ROB him! Can you imagine! Then he proceeded to tell me his receptionist of years wasn t up to par about their routine standard of service! Anything to skirt accepting accountability & taking a moral ground! This guy is such a con-artist! He just kept making excuses to get out of doing what s right & fair. Zero morals. I asked him if he honored his reputation or making right by a customer with $300 damages incurred he said he didn t care. He didn t care about a lawsuit nor would he work something out with me. He also tried telling me he verbally mentioned this to us at pick up! Nope! Not a word NOR was there any notation of this alleged verbal interaction about important work needed! I told him most businesses in this Industry will ALWAYS notate the customers file if they recommend work that s needed to be done and if the customer refused, etc. He says he doesn t put anything in writing ! Getting the picture yet? Steer clear of this guy. Trust me. Pay the extra money to take it to a reputable shop and be treated like a human being! He doesn t care about their quality of work or how he makes his customers feel. Disregarded 100% & absolutely maddening how he handled the entire transaction. Money is all that matters to him. No matter the outcome.

While my vehicle was under warranty work Premo's broke my brake line and rear axle replacing a wheel bearing and charged me "out of pocket" for the damage they caused.Stay away from Premo's!

Not your average shop. They treat you with respect and give awesome service. No beating around the bush as to what's wrong with the car and if it's worth getting it fixed. Chuck is one of the honest mechanics out there when it comes to this. None of the let's put the part and and charge a astronomical price...and it didn't fix the problem. You want it done right, here's the place to go.

I hadn't been here in probably ten years so I was hoping they were still as great as they were back then.. Great news. They are! The guys took great care of me and my subie. Poor Justin found out the hard way she fights and bites lol thank you guys again! She's finally quiet again

While traveling from North Carolina to visit family in Rome I noticed noise coming from what I thought was my transmission. Premos was highly recommended from a friend. When I stopped in and told the owner, Chuck, that I needed to be back home in 5 days and asked if they could look at my vehicle as soon as possible they dropped everything to accommodate me. They diagnosed the problem immediately and were able to get a transfer delivered the following day. Chuck and his mechanic did everything they could to get me back on the road. In fact, the mechanic worked beyond his normal hours and repaired my vehicle a day earlier than promised. They were reasonably priced, warrantied their work and Chuck even called me the following day to make I made it home safely.

Chuck is a great guy. I just bought my car from him. He was honest and open. He fixed what was wrong and was open about what repairs he did prior to the sale and why .The price was right on, below market value. He even put on 4 new tires. I would not hesitate to buy from him again or bring it back for any service needs. Thank you for a pleasurable experience.

The most honest mechanics I've had the fortune of meeting! Fantastic work; honest pricing and service; and not to mention that Chuck is fantastic at explaining what's wrong with your vehicle, as well as what needs to be done. I highly recommend Premo's to my friends and family!

I had a very good experience with getting my car repaired here recently. I was visiting from out-of-state and my car needed a major repair that required 2 days to fix. The guys in this shop were very knowledgeable and understood the predicament I was in, and worked hard to get my car fixed as quickly as possible so that I could get back home. They kept me updated throughout the process, even working on a Saturday so I could get my car back. They explained everything they did to figure out what was wrong with my car, and patiently answered all my many questions in a way I could understand. I feel that they were fair, respectful and conscientious. They could have easily taken advantage of the fact that I was a stranger in town and stuck with a broken car, but they were upright and honest. I was impressed with their knowledge of mechanics and attention to detail so my car was fixed the right way. Good job guys!

UGHHHHHH NO!! Had to bring my truck there 4 times for same problem .not fixed 1200 later. So why did it takes a retired, 64 yr old mechanic (whats up Mike lol) to fix my problem in 2 hrs and now running 100 times better
