Vlads was the best. I struggled trying to replace my headlight and he and his fellow mechanic knocked it out in a jiffy. The guys are so professional, positive and dedicated to their customers. I commend them on running such a pleasant and stress free business.

Independently owned local auto repair shop. The owner, Vlad, offers a full range of repairs with diagnostic tools to scan those pesky "check engine" lights. His waiting area is neat and adequate with no heavy odors present. Easily accessible from both Marcy Ave and Main Street. Highly recommend!

Brought my mercedes that had electrical damage, i knew the work was not going to be easy but not almost a whole year sitting there. My car has been there for a while I came to check it out with my side mirror missing and he tells me that it came like that when I brought it in. When i have video proof of my car having a side mirror when i brought it in. Clearly someone stole it and ripped it off. He gave us the key not charging anything most likely he didn t do anything to car with another issue being my side mirror is missing. I understand he is busy but telling me the car is almost ready every week and then saying it s not done when i call you to tell me the car would be ready in this day is unprofessional. Could ve just told me you couldn t do the work instead of lying and not doing anything to it.

So happy I was recommended Vlad s auto works. I had called 15+ auto shops for brake pad replacement on my car and was quoted 1000$ at bmw, almost 800$ at pep boys, and given a runaround from the other shops about not having the equipment or how big a job it is. A big name shop I called recommended Vlad and said he was the guy for the job. I called Vlad and he was confident he could fix my issue and even took me the next day. He was so professional and eager to help me. I am so grateful to Vlad for fixing my car so quickly and giving me a fair price. Highly recommend!!Services: Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection

Ever since Vlad was recommended to me by a family friend 10 years ago, I have never used another mechanic. He is efficient, diagnoses and repairs the problem within a timely manner, and his prices have always been extremely fair. The first time I went to him was because (2) other mechanics told me it would cost me around $1500 to repair the air conditioning system. As Vlad was a previous mechanic with Toyota and familiar with my car, he literally sat in my car, checked the A/C knobs and knew they needed to be repaired/replaced. It cost me $20. Lastly, he is kind, understanding and very dedicated to his clientele. Vladimir of Vlad's Auto Works stands out as a true mechanic, not just a parts swapper. He shares the old school ethic of trying to fix things, not just replace them. He has outstanding knowledge of both domestic and foreign cars, which is invaluable in an area that lacks factory service for many makes. He is trained on many brands and has the necessary equipment to tackle most any job. Because he knows so much, he doesn't waste time trying various solutions; he gets it right the first time and as a result is quite reasonably priced. If you own a subaru, hyundai, or honda, now you've finally found the perfect place to get overquoted on dead-simple WRONGLY DIAGNOSED repairs. Thank you, Vlad's Motor Works, for intelligently deciding to remove precious hours of my life I probably would have wasted a) fixing the problem myself, b) going to a real mechanic, or c) literally anything else. I drive a 2010 Cadillac and what has that car not gone through Every possible thing that could happen with this car has happened. Clearly I don t know too much about cars and same goes for my husband. Having Vlad as our go to mechanic for EVERYTHING has been the biggest stress off our shoulders. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I had $900 worth of work done to be stranded on the highway ONE WEEK later because vlads forgot to put the cotter pins and nuts in the lower control arms I just got replaced. After paying for a tow and to have the work redone the correct way at another shop..I confronted vlad who insinuated I made my receipts up and called the cops on me...I then had to take my car back To vlad (which i live about 40 minutes away) so he could look at the work to make sure nothing else was wrong . DO NOT WASTE your time energy or money here. Never have I had such bad customer service or the cops called on me. The cop who came even said I m sorry I m here pretty often. He calls the cops anytime he has a confrontation with a person of color. Like I said don t bother and he should close his shop.
