Jeff was extremely helpful in finding a solution for me. I had been struggling with some steering issues and no one could give me an answer. Jeff and his crew were profesional in handling my Genesis. This isn t one of those money grabbing mechanics. Highly recommend

Went here as recommended by a friend who likes to modify his sleeper station wagon into a race-track ready machine and he trusts these guys. I am not THAT person but was looking for a garage that I can go and trust they know what they re doing and he said they were thorough. They were accommodating for a small conundrum I had over and over inspection sticker (very hard to get one in late December as people run out of inspection stickers apparently). He was able to set up his new machine that wasn t set for use yet so that he can give me one to save me the hassle of finding someone that can do it for me. Will be going back for tuneup of my car to drop off. It s not really close to the subway so drop-off is a bit challenging when you need to keep the car there overnight but if that s the biggest complaint for a trusted service, we re in a good spot.

Wonderful experience taking my Audi s5 to LIC AUTO SERVICE for water pump and thermostat. The work was performed in a very timely manner, much faster than I expected. Best auto service I have found between Queens and Brooklyn. These guys are honest, do good work and communicate well. I had to have a large amount of repairs done through a 3rd party warranty and LIC Auto went the extra mile to make sure the warranty company did not cut corners and that the best parts were being installed. I needed a new mechanic for my 2006 BMW 325Ci. I had asked several BMW drivers around my neighborhood for recommendations, and this place was repeatedly named. These guys are always busy but they work out a schedule with you for drop-off, diagnostics, repairs, pick up. Their work is detailed and complete. I really appreciated Derek in the office and "Jeff" (as per his name tag) the mechanic explaining what the issues were and what should be/ could be done. Keep up the great work you guys!

This shop was recommended by a friend after I had bought a 1997 Thunderbird which required front suspension repairs. I only owned new cars over the past 15 years, which I took to the dealership for service, so I didn't have a go-to place for an older vehicle.I picked up my car today, and any suspension noises (worn ball joints) have been resolved. It's not a perfect car by any means, but thanks to the work of LIC Auto on Cooper Avenue, it is now a perfectly acceptable daily driver.Pricing was very transparent and, based on my limited research, competitive. I wouldn't call it inexpensive, but I was glad my final total came in below the original quote.Most importantly, the reason why I recommend this shop is because everyone here conveyed the sense that they loved cars. I love my car, and I like to talk cars. The folks here engaged in conversation and have interesting cars of their own. It wasn't a rush-rush business transaction. If you consider yourself a car person, you'll be comfortable leaving your car with these guys.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I came to this shop for regular maintenance with my 1 year old Honda Pilot (oil change, tire rotation, inspection). I was really pleased with the service. I am one of those people that has limited knowledge of cars and needed honest and quality service. I definitely found a place I can trust with my car. Highly recommended.

Been to a few mechanics. They sucked. Last mechanic shop i visited before LIC auto was on Eliot Ave and 69th street. (They overcharged, and took way too long) However, LIC auto they tell you how it is and what your options are. You get your money's worth here. I've been going here for a few years now. I recommend LIC auto 100%

This review is long overdue as I have been taking 3 of my cars to this shop for months and they did an excellent job with all 3 vehicles. Two out of those three cars needed major repairs. When other mechanics sent me away saying they could not help me (because of parts, or labor or skills ect) these guys were up for a challenge. They know how think outside of a box and come up with solutions. They are courteous and explain well what needs to be done beforehand so there is never any surprises. In my opinion they offer high expertise on a wide range of vehicle types and I finally feel I found a mechanic I can trust. The best mechanic I have dealt with in 25 years of driving and owning cars.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Engine repair, Battery

These men are highly skilled technicians and do not give up until they've solved the problem. Most shops "try," and tell you they've repaired the issue. Sometimes they do. Jeff and Darek never told me that the problem was resolved unless it actually was. When I had reoccurring problem with my car, they searched for, and found the solution. They maintain up to date computer information, and know how to use it. Whether it's to search for parts or hard to find issues, Jeff and Darek know what to do. BTW, they were recommended to me by another mechanic. That alone says a lot.Just wanted to add that their explanations make sense, and their suggestions are not always to spend money. Very fair and honest.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Very helpful, responsable, honest. Always tries to find the best solution for customer. Not like other mechanics just will change parts and do not even try to find another solution. Reasonable prices. Recommend to everybody; there mechanics really know what they are doing and can communicate in several languages. Go there if your "baby" is ill.

Took care of my car problems with no run around first time visit and I'm defenatly coming back if I run into any problems. Pricing is fare and straight forward there was no calling back and telling me that I needed extra parts. Thank you Jeff and staff you got a customer for life

I have been in this auto shop twice and I am not coming back. First time I came to fix tire pressure light. They came up with $600 worth of needed repairs. I told them to fix the TPMS light problem only. So they reset my light for $30. Obviously I barely left the shop and the light came on again because the root of the problem was not fixed. When I came back the mechanic told me that my TPMS system is version 1 and that he is not able to tell which sensor is bad based on the error code. So I don't know how he wanted to fix it. The truth is that the doesn't have the right tool to check it. To make the story short I went somewhere else and got the sensor replaced and problem fixed first time without bullying. Also some of the other repairs that they wanted to make proved to be non issues. Today I went there to change my oil, syntetic oil change costs $100 which I thought was a little expensive. I was in a rush so I went with it. When I came back the guy told me that it's extra $10 because they put washer fluid and coolant. What? I didn't ask for that. I don't recommend this place.
