AVOID this place if you can. YOU WILL BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!I came here to replace a tire and then asked about another tire. The other tire had a damaged cap on the tire valve. I asked if they could fix it, but instead the employee said it wasn t fixable. So I listened to his recommendation to replace the valve altogether. After driving off I realized I the other tires needed more air so i went to fill them all out equally. I realized the guy practically did nothing. He charged me for the replacement and just removed the cap like I had asked him to do initially. The valve is now damaged and the guy charged me full price. Called to confront the guy and he lied about what happened. Don t trust this business. Shady and will outright take your money if you aren t watching the work being done or lack the knowledge.The guy with the long hair was the guy who serviced me. Just in case the others that work there do so with decency and honesty Didn t get his name.

Have two screws in my tire and they fixed it with in ten minutes. I was able to make it to work on time!

Had a cracked rim not too long ago & they fixed it in less than 30 mins. Very friendly and efficient!

Its ok for a tire fix, rim swap only thing I do not like is they apply used motor oil to lubricate the tire beads and that is a no-no! That degrades the rubber.Too late before realized it to stop them. But they do charge a very fair price for mounting and balancing. Gone there many times in past and been happy with results.Update: They mounted and balanced 2 truck tires for me today, very quickly and threw them on for a very reasonable price. Happy with service. Just check your tire pressure when done, they don't seem to lower it after seating the beads, had over 65 lbs of air in mine.

Horrible...... i arrived to get my cracked rim fixed and while taking off the lug nuts, he didnt care what he was doing and scratched the rim with the lug nuts just dropping them all over the rim. then when he returned from fixing the cracked rim, the whole rim face was completely scratched. idk what he was doing with it but it looks like the face of the rim was being dragged and spun on the floor. it is not a painted rim but a cnc'ed rim so to get this fixed now will cost me more money. also they didn't even put the tire back on in the right spot so I also have to spend more money now to get it rebalanced.These rims are off a 2023 model car brand new and i came to get a crack repaired from this nyc potholes but left with a scratched destroyed rim instead.Lets see how long the repair weld on the rim even lasts... i wont even know because im going to a different location to get the weld looked at and the whole face of the rim fixed.Horrible experience i will never return to this location.Surprised with this kind of service this place is still open and making money.

This place was quick an fast which was great but 50 bucks for a used tires was ridiculous and it wasn t even a name brand. I feel they took advantage of the fact I was a women and didn t speak much Spanish. On a regular day I would never give them business because of those 2 factors. If it wasn t that I needed it asap because it was already late in the day I would of left my car parked and went to actual place I felt welcomed at.

Wife cracked her rim not a bad price to get the rim welded with a used tire... didn't get 5 stars cause the same day that used tire got a slow leak would have been 3 stars but the guy said bring it right now and fixed the leak very quickly.. can't blame the guys for the quality of the tires

HORRIBLE....I went to these guys to have 1 stripped lug nut removed they couldn't do it so the guy sends me around to St Felix a Dominican car repair to have it done and a tall Hispanic guy saying he's from Compi Tire and Rim comes to me along with one of the mechanics from the place to tell me they can remove it. Once the mechanic did it the tall Hispanic guy comes back over and says it 40 dollars I was in shock but i needed it done to change my tire ..and he didn't even change my tire I had togo back to Metro ....BUT I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN THEIVES CHECK OUT OTHER PLACES FOR PRICES BEFORE GOING THERE..THEIVES

Thank you EDWIN! This man drove to my car that was 5 min away and fixed my flat in the same parking spot I left it in. Compi tires is my go-to for fix a flats for sure. Thank you again

Solid prices, don't expect hand holding but I'll take it anytime instead of waiting in other big places like Pepboys. If nobody is ahead of you, it will be a short time. Prices are very reasonable, very humble hard working individuals

A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! I bought 4 tires during the end of December and so far 3 of them have gone flat. The first tire went flat about 2 weeks after purchase and I had the tire replaced by compi and paid $20 because they said I had nails embedded in the tire. Ok. And now two more tires have gone flat. I walked to the shop and explained what was going on and the guy told me I probably ran over some nails. Pretty confident option given the car was 3 blocks away. So now I have to get the car towed to have this disaster fixed. No receipt, cash only, no warranty, plenty of time wasted and I have zero confidence in these tires.

Very good shop installed 2x brand new tires on my BMW X5 (315/35R20) and they balanced them perfectly too .. For a price that beats everyone out of the ballpark ... Had 3x or 4x people infront of me and they still managed to perform the service work within 35/40 minutes or less.. Very good shop // staff !! Will return in future for sure ! Thank you Compi!

There was a mixup regarding pricing and I almost paid double. The Compi employee counted the cash I handed him, and handed half of it back to me and explained that I had overpaid. It would have been easy to rip me off, but instead they were honest. Fast and professional. 10/10.

Rip off $35 charge to take out 3 nail.... u can buy a use tired for $30. Go down the block you get a better deal better service. RIP OFF!!! wish I can give a -1 start. Use tired might look good outside but inside check for bubble.

3 AM and I'm riding home from work. Messed my tire all up and had to ride on it on the Jackie Robinson. I just randomly parked it in Queens and ubered home to Brooklyn. I couldn't get my tire off to put on my spare because one of the lug nuts was stripped. Not only did one of the guys (Didnt get his name) change the tire but he rode in my pops car to my car with his equipment and changed it. I drove back to his shop and purchased a very good used tire. This all happened this morning. He saved me from having to tow my car. I cant thank them enough and highly recommend them. Great experience

Very quick and professionally, and I really liked that there was someone working with the mechanic that spoke english, since he didn't. Sometimes the language barrier can be an issue, but it wasn't. Check it out !!

I am sorry to report this but it is best to be careful with this place. I am one who skeptically reads "newcomer" folks' sometimes curiously negative reviews of businesses on the interwebs (hello Seamless) in "gentrified" neighborhoods, wondering if this is due to "entitled" attitudes, yet even as someone (not originally from the neighborhood) who seeks to be mindful of this, also as a native NYer, who is no idiot I feel compelled to post this review.I was sloppy while in need of assistance, and my experience with this business is not only do I feel like they took advantage of this, but even when appealing to reasonable concepts of fair business practice, this shop refused to do anything about it the next day, even after I went back where a worker spoke to the manager (owner?) on the phone right in front of me.I purchased 4 used tires one night before a long drive, yet did not examine the treads carefully and made the mistake of assuming the tires were usable. Literally the next day while driving from Bushwick on my way out of the state, in heavy traffic on Park Ave heading towards Manhattan and crossing Bedford one of the tires blows out. No joke. Fortunately, I was a block away from a tire store on Franklin. When I got out and examined the tires, all of the treads were incredibly worn down to dangerous levels.I replaced all of the tires with used ones with acceptable treads for driving. When I went back to this shop they refused to take the tires back or provide me with a refund. This is horrific customer service and a store that puts people's lives on the line. This took place less than a year ago, and I had photos of the tires I accidentally erased, after keeping them for months just to write this review.They should be ashamed of themselves, and hope these practices are not engaged in again, but I would check carefully about buying anything from them until consistently proven otherwise. They might assume you are a naive fool, like the stereotype of auto folks who seek to exploit those they think are ripe for the taking.

Had tires balanced but made problem worse. Instead of shaming at 70mph NW it shakes at 60mph. I will update this review if I get them to resolve issue. Stay tuned.
