Jeff is a true gem in the camping world, wish every industry had someone like him to turn to... He is always ready to help and brings his knowledge and expertise every time. Whether it's troubleshooting, routine maintenance or helpful education he is your go to guy. He knows it all and is always so friendly and ready to help out, cannot recommend him enough, lucky to have his expertise!

Jeff is a rare find! We were recommended to him by the Yogi Bear RV park in Gardiner, Ny. I called him on Labor Day, expecting to leave a message and hear from him the next day. To my surprise, he called me that day and proceeded to diagnose my problem with my hot water heater while on the phone. He really knows his business and is very pleasant to speak with. Jeff is top notch, honest and very reasonable! Don t bother calling anyone else! Thank you Jeff!

I called on a Sunday night desperate to get my work van back up and running for work the next day . He walked us through troubleshooting an electrical problem within minutes of my text . He knew exactly what was wrong with it . Genuine good person that was able to help and saved me a day lost of work which I am very grateful for . I will be using Hudson valley rv in the future .

We are very happy and lucky to have been referred to Jeff @ Hudson Valley RV. He -- and his wife -- are very nice, responsive, and accommodating. Jeff clearly is an expert on RVs and campers, and for first timers like us, he went the extra mile to answer any question and to teach us everything that we need to know, as well as to make sure our camper was in top condition. If you're looking for someone who is friendly and knowledgeable to get your rv back in shape this is the spot. Jeff is amazing and very helpful. One of my favorite stops while in NY located near the beautiful ashokan reservoir.

This guy is amazing. We were ready to pull out of a campground last thing we needed to do was put the slide out in. Would not work, with a 2 and 4 year old you can imagine how stressful of a situation this was. After trying everything on the internet and several others campers help got Jeff s number from the campground. He didn t really want to come out if he didn t have to but either way he assured me we would be fixed and on the road within an hour. He diagnosed the problem over the phone to get the slideout in and get us back on the road. Then when I got home I called him again and we got the problem completely figured out and everything working again. I offered to Venmo him some money and he refused. What a guy!! He knew exactly what he was doing and talking about and probably spent at least an hour of his time on the phone with me and then not to charge me anything you just don t find this nowadays in people. Thank you again for everything!!!!

Jeff was AMAZING! We lost electricity in my 1985 Jayco while we were in the middle of a roadtrip with 5 days left to get home. Not only did he trouble shoot with me but he knew how to fix it, he walked me through the steps and we fixed it together over the phone! I felt so blessed to have such an amazing person help me after a frustrating 24hrs of getting shut down everywhere else because of my RV's age! If I lived in this state, Jeff would be my go to RV guy! Throw your money at him people! He is worth it!!

I arrived home after a weekend camping trip with electrical issues in the RV at 8:30pm. We called Jeff to leave a message to see if he could guide us in the morning and he answered his phone on a Sunday night at 8:40pm. We were pleasantly surprised to hear him pick the phone up at that hour and then assist us on the spot. We definitely want to support his business in the future as customers. THANK YOU Jeff!!! 7/11/21-Jeff to the rescue once again!! I was in the process of showing the RV to a potential buyer of the unit. Upon bringing in the last of 3 slides so the buyer can go for a test drive, the slide would not retract. While the buyer dd not seem to fazed, I was very upset and concerned knowing that this can potentially hurt the sale. When the buyer left I immediately called Jeff who spent over an hour, via Face Time, working with me to help diagnose the problem, and then find a way to manually bring in the slide. We did accomplish bringing in the slide, and I then drove 88 miles to Jeff's shop fully expecting to leave the RV for as many days as he needed. Much to my surprise, he pulled out another RV from his garage and immediately began working on mine. After carefully examining all the potential problems, he correctly diagnosed the problem and replaced the slide motor. This was all done on a Sunday afternoon..I drove the unit back home truly thankful and grateful that there are people like Jeff with such integrity, honesty and knowledge. Fast forward one week and the unit did sell to a very happy buyer.. Thank you (again) Jeff!!!!6/27/21 Jeff is simply amazing. He is professional and honest and will go out of his way to help. Recently, my wife and I were 700 mikes away on an RV trip and encountered a problem. I called Jeff and he spent the time on the phone. Through his questioning and years of experience, he diagnosed the issue and gave us peace of mind knowing that the issue wasn t a large as originally thought. To find someone of his caliber, especially in the unscrupulous RV world, is a rarity. There is no one else to see or call if you are having any RV issues. Thank you Jeff for all you have done!!!

We had originaly had someone else that was supposed to be working on repairs that were covered by warranty. After months of no contact, no answers to our messages, not a word. When it came time to dewinterize, the guy never showed up and we had to figure it out on our own (first time rv campers). We called Jeff to see if he would be willing to take on the mess we were left with. LESS than 2 months after our original contact with him and Every. Single. Problem was fixed and everything is done!!! I cannot say enough good things!! Thank you SOOOO much Jeff!! You are amazing!!

I called Jeff in a panic with a nightmare scenario left by a prior company after a year of getting nowhere with zero results and very little communication. After telling him my situation, without hesitation Jeff said he would take it on and work me into his schedule and make it a priority to fix this long list of complicated and unfinished work which included deciphering where the other guy left off and what parts were missing and what parts needed to be replaced along dealing with manufacturer warranties, extended warranties and tracing though some nightmare wiring and actually finding the real problem and tackling it head on. He also did some additional items that were on the list and kept in contact every step of the way. Jeff was 100 precent professional, knowledgeable and honest about his assessment of each and every job on the list. He made good on a job that was not his responsibility to begin with and did an amazing job and went beyond to finish in a timely manner.Service: Electrical

What a relief Jeff was in a pinch. Knowledgeable and hard working, he got my hot water unit working perfectly. For months I had been going out in the morning to relight it. Jeff is a really smart guy who shows up with the needed tools AND materials, and he doesn t give up until he figures it out. I am so glad I know such a reliable and expert RV repairman. My life will be easier now knowing he will be here when I need him.

I unwinterized my RV about 3 weeks ago and everything was working. I just brought my RV home to get ready for our first camping trip this weekend; and, suddenly, I was having problems with some of the electrical systems on the control panel. Knowing that this was the busy season, I contacted Hudson Valley RV and left a message asking if Jeff Lane could fit me in within the next two days. Jeff called me back, diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me how to fix it. This is the third time that Jeff has fixed my RVs; and, every time, he has been terrific. I really appreciate Jeff Lane s professionalism, knowledge, experience and responsiveness. I highly recommend him.Service: Electrical

Jeff installed a solar system, cellular booster and rock shields on my airstream Bambi.The work was flawless and he gave me good tips on upkeep and maintenance for my new trailer. He's the only one who will be working on her from now on. A huge difference between the responsive and excellent service he provides and the large camper service companies. His wife Kaitlin is lovely too. I'm grateful to have him in my area and highly recommend him for any work you might need.Service: Electrical

Absolutely amazing customer service!!We just picked our camper up from Camper s World after having it sit there approximately 5 months to have warranty repairs and winterization. We only we able to pick our camper up 2 days ago. After the long wait, they installed the wrong faucet and there was a leak beneath the kitchen sink (not to mention mouse droppings throughout my essentially new camper!) We found the leak AFTER towing our camper out to the campground, setting up completely and connecting the water line. Camper s World refused to send someone to fix the problem and told us to bring the camper back if we wanted the problem they caused (due to lack of attention to basic installation technique) fixed. Jeff from Hudson Valley RV returned our call promptly on a Sunday, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and when we decided to go ahead and have it fixed ourselves, came out within 45 minutes!Hudson Valley RV is truly commendable, service is excellent, and Jeff was friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable!

Jeff is an expert at what he does and because of that a very efficient worker. I found him to be very honest and do excellent quality work. We had leaks in the roof of an older camper that we bought used. I expected him to say it was a piece of junk. To the contrary, he said the roof was in good shape! It needed to have the leaks sealed. He used top notch materials and that job cost under $300. We were so relieved.He's very busy but he really cares about what he does. It is clear that when he is working on your camper, that he is going to give it the attention the RV needs. In the end, we decided to have to other work done too. He changed the tires, greased the bearings and got a new awning.We left feeling 200% better about the camper and that we were in good shape for our trip ahead. I highly recommend him. I'm so glad we went to him and not one of the big camper dealers. I have already recommended him to my car mechanic who gets inquiries all the time about RV work. Jeff was amazing. After being stood up by the dealership we purchased our camper from two times, Jeff came out only a few hours after first speaking with him. He was able to replaced our broken AC within an hour of arrival!

I came here to give Jeff 5 stars and I wasn't surprised to see that he already had (23) out of (23) 5 star reviews! I have used Jeff's services several times the past 2yrs or so. He actually ANSWERS his phone every time. Can you imagine that?? Seems like most busy businesses don't, and then you have to sit around hoping they will call you back.The most recent time: I was in a bind with our pop up camper (lights). The camper was for sale with lots of interest. Not only did Jeff answer my call on a Friday evening, he actually came and found the bad ground and fixed it that very same evening! Unbelievable! I highly recommend Hudson Valley RV!

Jeff did an awesome job of doing my stabilizer Jack upgrade on my travel trailer. He answers the phone personally. Answered all my questions, got the job done same day, quality craftsmanship and professionalism. Very reasonably priced and will not upsell youi anything. He will come to you if needed for many repairs. Will definitely be using him again in the future. Highly recommend!! Thanks Hudson Valley RV

What can we say, other than that Jeff was absolutely superb! We are leaving for a long road trip tomorrow and called him last minute to see if he could assist us with some plumbing issues on our Airstream. Without hesitation, he cane by same day, made a few stops at the hardware store to get parts, and got the job done swiftly! On top of that, since we re newbies in the travel trailer space, he gave us several tips and pointers, looked at a few other items for us, and have great advice. His pricing was beyond reasonable, his advice and last minute work was invaluable, and better yet, he s a genuinely nice guy that truly cares about his customers which is something that s hard to come by these days. He told us to call him anytime along our travels if we have random questions or issues and will be happy to lend a helping hand over the phone. Jeff, thank you so much, and we wish you Happy Holidays!

Jeff and his son are the most professional technicians I have encountered in over 20 years of RV'ing.10 miles from our campground in Accord, we lost our brakes on a 41 foot 5th wheel. We limped into the camp ground. I was telling my neighbor and he said, call Jeff . He is really good.I called, left a message and sent a text as requested. He called me back ask me the problem. He said Ill be there in an hour. He promptly showed up and went to work. He was with his son. They were non stop chasing down a short in the electrical system which was the reason I had no brakes. He was able to find the issue and repair it. Man.... I can t say enough about Jeff. First, we were way out of his jurisdiction for him to come. Just as I hung up, he said he could walk me through it. He patiently stayed on the phone with me and diagnosed my issue. Then he ordered the part much cheaper than other camper stores would have charged me and is willing to meet me half way to deliver it to me. All this and he never asked me for a dime. I will be meeting Jeff tomorrow and I will take good care of him as he did me. Thankyou Jeff.Service: Electrical

If you need your camper repaired, there is simply no one better than Hudson Valley RV.After a couple of weeks trying to get an issue repaired with the Lippert Schwintek 13398-D0 slide-out controller on our Jayco North Point fifth wheel, I finally found Hudson Valley RV. Jeff (the owner) fit me into his already busy schedule, came on-site to the campground, diagnosed the issue, and corrected the issue all within a couple of hours. What he did was heroic.Keep in mind, this was after a couple of frustrating weeks trying to work through the camper dealership to no avail. Jeff did what the dealer itself refused to do.Jeff is very professional with a very high sense of integrity. He's the best out there.

We were traveling through the area with our brand new Class C and had a very tight schedule. Jeff and Kaitlin not only fit us in during our stay, but gave AMAZING advice, fixed our window incredibly fast, and helped us work with our warrantee. The prices were very fair, and more than worth every penny! We drive about 45 minutes to get to them, and would drive HOURS to work with them again. We are so grateful! Thank you!

I would highly recommend anyone having any kind of RV issue to give Jeff a call. We had an electrical issue with our travel trailer which created a lot of stress for us. I called Jeff and within the hour he was at our site and was able to diagnose the issue. He is super knowledgeable about RV and was very friendly. I have never had anyone better or more honest than Jeff is. He really knows what he is doing and does not overcharge. I had a malfunctioning electronic switch to open and close my sewer valve. The only way I could open it was to crawl underneath and turn a tiny screw to open and close the valve. He could have replaced it but asked if I would like one that I could open manually. I definitely would take that any day over an electronic one. In no time he had a fitting that went on to the end of my sewer pipe and all I have to do is pull the handle to open. It couldn t be easier and more reliable. I would definitely recommend him.

We were having multiple difficulties with plumbing and electrical in our motor home. Jeff came to our rescue in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and did what needed to be done. His service was efficient and reasonably priced.
