A beautiful location, though the main station is closed for renovations; there s a temporary trailer serving as the station.

The station is currently under construction. They have set up a nice trailer office with ample seating, and a large bathroom and an attendant to answer your questions. As for the station itself, they recently took off the top layer of the stairs, which was hanging on by a thread and causing extreme accident potential, so the stairs are easier and safer to navigate now. I really hope more parking is part of the new design plan. I love taking the train to the city to/from here. The view of the river is breathtaking.

Very peaceful and gorgeous river views. One can meditate over there when the trains leave. Such quite and good is the place. A lot of parking but may get busy sometimes

It s confusing which lot is LONG TERM PARKING and which is SHORT TERM. The first lot (Southern most lot) you encounter DOES NOT HAVE any sign or at least no illuminated sign at dark stipulating long or short term at least not one I saw. However the second lot or NORTH LOT says LONG TERM parking (limited to 10 days FYI). So does this imply the first lot is SHORT TERM. A simple sign or a better a map would clear this up but that may be asking too much from Amtrak

Nice little train station service from NYC & Albany via Amtrak. Easy in and out. Not much parking though.
