We got a flat in Albany while driving from VT to PA. We could not drive home on a donut so we had to stay overnight in Albany to get the tire fixed. We went to another tire place and they said they did not have the tire and we had to go somewhere else. I called Monro and they said they did not have the tire in stock but they could get it. We went over to Monro and the Manager drove 20 minutes across town and 20 minutes back to get the tire and they put it on in 15 minutes and we were out IN ONE HOUR!!! I thought it was going to take all afternoon and we were on the road in an hour and I was able to get home in time for an important meeting. We were not from Albany. We will probably never go back to that Monro location but they went out of their way to help us. I am a Monro customer for life!

Called earlier today for a leak in my front passenger side tire and they told me to come right in! I didn t even need an appointment and when I stopped in right after work, they had me in and out faster than any other tire place I ve been to! I really appreciated their timeliness and availability. Will definitely come back for my tire needs !

After making an appointment at another repair shop that was extremely rude and impersonable, I stumble upon Monro. I stopped in anticipating having to make an appointment, but was assisted immediately. Within an hour, I had a brand new battery installed, tires checked and check engine light diagnosed. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and helpful! I left confident that I can bring my vehicle back whenever the need arises!Thank you to the entire staff! New customer as you have far exceeded my initial expectations/thoughts!

Brought my car there on a friday for a tire patch. Was told last night, on the proceeding TUESDAY, that it was ready to pick up. I get there and the tire is flat and the rim is scraping the pavement. They never plugged it and the tire quickly became scuffed and compromised in the lot. When the mechanic was working on it, he told me to take a cab home because it was 7:00 closing. I said nothing and stayed there until it was done. Terrible customer service.I drive to work today and the tire pressure light comes on again. Never again.

Cannot say enough great things about this location! I stopped in on my travels from Massachusetts to Texas. I needed an oil change and figured it would be best to stop in; they were able to get me in rather quickly, let me know that the tire rotation was available as well with the synthetic oil change and provided great conversation.The location was clean, allowed me to answer some work emails and converse with a client while waiting for my car! They provided wifi as well.

Professional, courteous, and welcoming employees. I was seen quickly. I was not upsold services that were not require. The prices be fair market value for the services, with no unexpected fees. I shall continue to return to this location for all future vehicle service needs.

Showed up later than I would have liked. Didn't really expect them to be able to set me up with new tires when I got there. I left with great service and 4 new tires. No complaints from me. Quick, quality service, what more can you want?

The guys working were all super helpful with our truck. They fixed the issue and answered all our questions. We were walk-ins and I m so thankful they had time to help us out . The issue was fixed within the hour and we went on our way!

Brett the Regional Manager hides past mistakes like illegal car inspections and damage and Sexual harassment in the workplace which all resulted in termination of his current employee's on board.All while delivering sub-par service by hardly trained individuals who get a laminated sheet of information or instructions to follow daily.If they meet the goal of screwing enough consumers over by talking us into parts we do not need or flushes we never need, they then get a bonus.DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE

Last minute tire change needed on Sunday at 430pm. No one else would take me so late in the day or was able to perform the work. The front desk boss at the EG,NY was very welcoming and handled myself as well as a lobby full of customers with care and kindness. Kudos to you

Stay away tried to tell me I needed rear brakes for inspection pads were Shor they said went home and pulled the tires and the pads are barely worn. I was a mechanic a nys inspector for nearly 20 years and I never tried to sell people what they didn't need there is too much of this in the industry. I never needed to lie to ,are money and my customers new that and trusted me when I said they needed something.

Spent 5 hours and $620 on a screwed up brake job. Had to return the next morning to have it fixed. Manager Jeff was amazing, fixed it himself and got me back out in an hour, but very unhappy with the service from the previous day.

This location was able to get me into put on my snow tires despite it being incredibly busy. Super courteous, quick service, and a good value for the money. Definitely recommend this location, and we will be going back.

I came in today because I had a flat tire and the staff treated me with such kindness and professionalism! They were the only place (the 3rd or 4th I visited in person) to say I could stop in right away for them to look at my tire and were very courteous on the phone. They provided quick and efficient service, and I couldn t be happier !

Had to get a oil change before work. They're quick and thorough!Update:Never coming back!Tried to go back for a different issue and got the runaround for weeeeks.So I had to take my car to a dealership for service, and they said Monroe reeally messed up my oil pan (it has to be completely replaced) among a few other things.Really disappointed and out $$$ to get everything fixed AND the cost of what Monroe charged to Not fix my car, but add issues.

Just like the Mavis right next to them, if you have an older vehicle or big truck they try to make up all kinds of excuses to not work on it! The excuses they used were nonsensical & a clear indication they didn't want to work on it. They are a muffler shop, as their name implies, and they decline the customers request to put glass packs on a classic dual exhaust truck with the excuse they have to use OEM parts. There are no OEM parts anymore for a 35yr old truck, everything for them are remanufactured, after market or original replica parts from LMCtruck or similar sites. The next excuse was they have to abide by state laws but couldn't specify the law in question. I was a service tech for years, we took everything that came into the shop but apparently today these alternate shops avoid anything that involves actual work. They also didn't want to balance 33" tires on 15's with the excuse they can't because "beads are needed." I know at my shop we used to balance a lot bigger tires without beads, using normal hammer-on or sticky weights with no problem! He almost tried to tell me the shop was too busy but realized that was one of the first questions I asked him so he caught himself mid sentence and said let me ask my sub-manager, then came back and said they couldn't do it. Horrible customer service! They simply want fast, easy work, so if your vehicle is deemed difficult in their eyes they won't even attempt the work. Zero customer service and zero attempts to even look at the work as the conversation was all on the phone. I'd give zero stars if I could! Sounds like these guys need new management for the shop as this kind of attitude is losing them money I'm sure.

Don t go here. I got my tires changed. A tire fell off a couple hundred miles later. The shop refused to accept responsibility, or give me a discount on the repair. My kids were in the car, we almost went into a ditch and damaged my cars fender.

Incorrectly replaced my spark plugs causing my car to not start and left me stranded in NJ. Will not be returning. Crazy to me they messed up spark plugs!!!

I picked up a nail in my tire and needed it fixed quickly. Rob and the guys at Monro got me right in and out with a plug on the spot. So thankful to them! They were the only shop to tell me to come right in, with such a friendly person answering the phone (that s you, Gio!). Always happy to see there are still caring businesses with a sense of customer service out there.

Honest technician recommending only what s needed. No upsell or scare tactics here. I was told by another store that I needed rotors and pads replaced but they insisted all I needed was brake pads replaced. Reasonable price. Courteous staff, updated the progress. It did take a while but I wanted mud flaps I brought installed on them. That took extra time and they charged a nominal fee to put them on. Decent waiting area and clean restroom. Thank you Mike and Kevin.
