The service I received was spot on! Customer service was great. Sue helped me with getting a loner car and writing up what I needed done with servicing. I was informed throughout while my car was being fixed with a video and texts messages which I really appreciated. A very professional organization. Thank you!!!

The work done was done professionally . But the price was excessive. I came in for an inspection and I didn t check the bill carefully but noticed later that they rotated the tires though they had been rotated recently at Walmart where I buy my tires. They charged $275 for replacing spark plugs which seems excessive. I love driving my Tiguan. Just am bothered by the prices and unnecessary charges.

I had been car shopping for about a little over a month and a half. I had looked at every mid size SUV there is, and had to been to almost every local dealer. I m so glad I came to Cooley. Dan Stein was the BEST salesman to deal with. From start to finish, he was prompt, upfront and honest, and made sure we got the best deal. He kept my fianc� up to date every step of the way. We test drove our 2022 Tiguan Monday night and we were approved and drove the car home Tuesday night. I highly recommend Cooley Volkswagen. This is my first VW and I m so glad I got it from them. They really do treat you like family, and they re very knowledgeable! Five stars all around!

We just had our third pleasant and positive experience with Cooley Volkswagen. I recently purchased the 2022 Tiguan and I absolutely love it. Our salesman Dan was fantastic. He worked very hard to find me a vehicle that fit my lifestyle and personality. Dan went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new Tiguan. I definitely recommend Cooley VW and especially Dan in sales.

Replaced 4 tires (almost $1100) that were at 30k miles (instead of 70k as advertised) under their "urgent" recommendation and now the dealer won't honor the warranty (which they didn't mention at the time) and won't do anything about it because they jumped the gun. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Just got home with my new 2022 Taos, absolutely love it! Amazing customer service. Very friendly and welcoming, and they know their stuff! I worked with Jwira and he was the best. Would definitely recommend!

Very poor customer service. I made an appointment for two recall services for my 2021 VW ID.4 a week in advance, and then called them the day before to confirm that they could perform the services which they confirmed and that's all they said. I show up at the appointed time and they had failed to let me know in advance that one of the services is a 3-day process and that they were incapable of performing the second service. I asked why they didn't tell me this when I called them the day before and they claimed I probably spoke with their third-party answering service. Maybe have your service advisors answer the service calls instead of an answering service. Will not be recommending this dealer to anyone.

I lease a car from Cooley and today I accidentally hit a curb on my way to work. I called Cooley and they were able to squeeze me in and fix the damage all in one day. I was extremely appreciative of there fast service and very thankful. I recommend Cooley for cars and service.

Disorganized. Appointment scheduled three days in advance. Drove 30+ minutes to test drive a vehicle to be told the car was sold upon arrival.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the service department at Cooley. This place has poor business ethics that I have never experienced at any other dealer.They made me wait 3 hours for a regular service. By the end of those 3 hours the manager said the car would be ready, but then came back a second time saying that I needed to replace ALL my tires. When I asked for details about the tire tread, he didn't have any answers. He was adamant about purchasing tires from his location. The entire interaction was suspicious. When I went back to ask if all tires had to be replaced, he changed his story and said only 2 needed to be changed. This place is dishonest.When I was reviewing the bill they even added additional charges that were never discussed just to nickel and dime their way. It is really disappointing that places like this exist. Highly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else to avoid the headache.

My vehicle was in for a missing oil cap and engine oil covering my engine after an oil change previously at the dealership. Sue was able to assist me with getting my vehicle towed to the dealership and facilitated my service with ease and listened to my frustrations and concerns. And helped rectify the situation. I also had to replace my tires and have my vehicle aligned in order to pass NYS inspection, again Sue was fantastic with facilitating these services quickly and as needed. This is my third vehicle purchased from Cooley and service was something I previously dreaded. Sue is a great asset to the service team and worked quickly and efficiently to get me back on the road all while keeping me in the loop. Greatly appreciated!

I had a very disappointing experience with Cooley Volkswagen. �In November of 2019 I purchased a Jetta GLI. �My dealings with the sales staff were wonderful, I cannot fault the sales staff for anything. �What has prompted this review is the fact that Cooley Volkswagen continues to send me mailings despite my repeated requests to be removed from their communications.I had issues with the vehicle on delivery. �The outside was covered in adhesive from the protective film. �The interior was covered in what looked like water marks, which I was only able to remove with rubbing alcohol. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but when I purchase a brand new vehicle I expect it to be completely clean. �Additionally, they had done a very poor job of wiping off the vehicle and it was/is covered in fine swirl marks.I filed several complaints and was assured it would be remedied. �I never received any follow up. I feel that the non-responsiveness of the dealership was completely unprofessional. �Even if I had been determined to be the unreasonable party, I still would expect a response. I am out 300 dollars because I had to pay for paint correction to fix all the horrible looking swirl marks.In another instance, I went back to Cooley Volkswagen to get a quote for roof racks and snow tires+wheels. �I emailed them several times in advance asking for a quote. �I was instructed to make an appointment and when I arrived they stated they would have to do research while I waited (I had emailed them in advance to avoid this issue). �I was waiting for almost two hours and none of the service staff once came to tell me what was going on. �I followed up with them and they had already installed the racks and stated that they did not have snow tires and wheels in stock. �This was the final straw. �I ate the cost of the rack installation and returned them the following week.Cooley Volkswagen, stop sending me mailings or get in contact with me to remedy these�issues. �As of now you have done nothing to earn my business. Thank you.

Car needed regular service, inspection, and replace eyeglasses compartment. Work was done efficiently. Video, with narrative, was sent off under carriage of car and engine to show work done. Satisfied with Cooley Volkswagen (and Mazda too).

So far, so good. We pre-ordered the car directly from VW. They were generally communicative and responsive to questions and request. We strongly expressed a desire for the sale to be completed quickly since we had taken care of financing and insurance in advance. No up sale BS from them was dealt with besides a couple of attempts for extended warranty coverage. Long short, they delivered. Was a pleasant experience and would recommend Cooley Mazda VW in the future at this time.

Sue my advisor was polite and prompt. When I asked what bill was, she said 330 for coolant recharge. Then I asked what would it be if I declined, 140 for diagnosis . However, I was charged 470.00 for a coolant fill. 330 for refill and then 140 for diagnostics. I explained that was ridiculous, and manager, Jim hooked me up with a huge discount of 25 bucks. I understand I pay a premium to have quality techs, service my VW but closest number I got from competitors was 150. Had they explained I d get bent over on both diagnosis and refill, I d have done what I now learned the hard way. I d have paid 140 and then had local mechanic do it for 80 bucks. NEVER,TRUST SERVICE AT COOLEY VOLKSWAGON. Go elsewhere

A few months back we went to Cooley for an oil change on our golf and decided to take a test drive on a new Tiguan. Jay did a great job of listening to our needs and got us off with no hassles. We told him we weren't quite ready to purchase but promised we would be back when we were ready. There was no hard selling at all from Jay with only a nice follow up email a couple of months after we came in. We did good with our promise and came in a few months later to purchase the new car and Jay was fantastic just like before. I knew of nightmare car salesmanship and watched hours of youtube videos to prep but this wasn't necessary as Jay was exemplary. I can't recommend the Cooley team and Jay more highly.

Had issues with exhaust they fixed it but also decided to look in my engine bay to tack on replacement of an air filter and unscrewed the housing and never put it back together where I drove around for a two weeks with it uncovered hurting my engine til I saw when I opened my engine bay to do an oil change

Really enjoyed my new VW car buying experience with Dan Stein at Cooley Motors. Communication, reliability and trust are what I look for when purchasing a new car. The dealer and Dan check all 3 boxes and represent the VW brand extremely well. Only regret I have is I wish I found Dan & Cooley a long time ago as they are by far the easiest and best VW dealer to buy from in the Capital District!!

This is the second car I've bought here. Their biggest selling point is they are honest. I've been to many car dealers, and yes they want to sell cars, but at Cooley Motors they dealings are straight forward, honest, and if they don't know or haven't got it or can't get it, they're honest.. This is extremely important in my book. See Ask, great guy,laughs at himself, if he doesn't know or makes a mistake, and cares if you're happy. GREAT PLACE TO BUY A CAR!!

We had a great experience with Cooley. Jwira (Jay) Williams took the time to understand what we needed in a car and guided us through the tradeoffs and the process until we bought the right one. Not that we buy many cars, but I can't imagine buying our next car from anyone else. He's that good. It doesn't hurt that he's selling high quality cars. :)
