Family business, honest auto shop, after going here you know you're getting good quality work getting the work you need done and not being over charged or told you need work done that's not necessary. My new mechanic so thankful a friend recommended auto fix. Will never go elsewhere.

On a Memorial Day weekend trip to the area, my harmonic balancer broke, causing my car to become undrivable. The first thing in the morning after the holiday, I calling this shop (and MANY others) to get quotes. Paul of Auto Fix said he could get me in same-day and would only charge $150 of labor for replacing the part (which I had bought at a local hardware store to save time). Other places I called were quoting outrageous numbers... for instance, "The Car Shoppe" said they'd have to charge me for 4.5 hours of labor, totaling ~$550 (what an absolute joke!). Anyways, Paul was true to his word. I was out the door in early afternoon. Great work at a fair price! Can't recommend enough.Service: Engine repair

Great prices but at a cost told me I did not need breaks and my leaking tire was not leaking which it was and my brakes did need replacing also told me I didn't have anything wrong with my aliment or my front end which there was issues I took my car to where I bought it from and said should have came here first will think twice about coming here again unless its for a oil change

The only people I trust to look at my car if I have any issues with it. Especially in this area. There's too many places trying to get over on you and upcharge for things that aren't even wrong with your vehicle (I won't mention any names). They're the most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with, and that's rare. I appreciate them and their business! I will be back if there's anything more wrong with my car. Joan is amazing!!!...was such a delightful experience.. greeted with a smile and was very accommodating to get us in right away and had our vehicle parts ordered and fixed with 24 hours..I will never go anywhere else again!!! Thanks Joan for a stress free experience with my Chrysler 300C!!!...

Very good service. I had an inconvenience with my father in law s car and they were able to fix it expeditiously. I live in NJ and I would come here for them to fix my car if I come in to any more inconveniences - that s how good their service is.

Paul and his team @ Auto Fix are great. I was having noise issues which they quickly diagnosed as a flex tube problem. They decided that the best and easy and less costly way to go on an 11 year old car was to cut it out and weld a new metal piece in place of it. I very pleased and happy that it was such a reasonable cost and easy fix to my car. I found a terrific place for my car's essential needs for maintenance. Thank you again. A really great company that operates with integrity. Took my car here for an inspection after a place down the street failed me and said I needed $600 in repairs, which was clearly a scam. Auto fix conducted an honest inspection and I didn t need a single repair. Definitely gained a life-long customer.

8/3/22These folks are awesome. We take 2 Honda's and a Subaru in. Fast, very friendly, great service, good pricing.Original review from awhile ago:Brake job for a Subaru, reasonable price, fast and friendly service, no surprises. Will be taking my Honda there in the future.

Auto Fix Care Care Center saved me last Friday when I had a last minute emergency with my vehicle. I called and explained the situation and got an appointment for that same day.When I arrived, my car was almost immediately looked at and put up on the lift. After some inspection, I was told there was an issue with brake system. They got the part, replaced it and within an hour everything was good again.I am so grateful for their quick and accurate work. I needed my car the next day for work and everyday following that for school. Without their professional and speedy help, I don t know what I would have done! And the price was incredibly reasonable too.I ve officially found my new go-to auto care place.Thank you guys so so much!Service: Brakes

Joan and Paul were very accommodating to squeeze me in to look at my Honda, brakes had to be replaced and they were able to replace them while I waited! It was much appreciated, I would recommend Auto Fix to all my friends!

I cannot say enough great things about Auto Fix. I have brought my car there numerous times, for different issues, and every time it has been a great experience. Reasonable rates and quick service. I can't imagine going anywhere else, and have recommended Auto Fix to some neighbors who were in need of a repair shop. Joan and Paul are wonderful and know what terrific customer service entails.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HONEST!I am new to the area and found this GEM! Joan and Paul are honest... Which in this day and age is hard to find!My old Honda is running smoothly now and I could not be happier!Joan runs the office and she is a wonderful. She answered all my questions with patience and beautiful smile and I had a lot of questions!Paul also answered some questions and was very honest with the answers. One question I had was about the tires I was purchasing. I asked if they were a loud tire and he was completely honest and said they were louder than the average but because of my fear of driving in snow and not having traction he said they would be a good tire for me, they were similar to his wife's tires. They did not push the tires on me or any other products/services. Everyone that came into the office while I was there, were happy repeat customers. I will be back for my oil change, I can honestly say I look forward to seeing Paul and Joan again!

Auto Fix is my choice for all of my vehicle maintenance over the years: oil changes, brakes, and exhaust work so far. I am now on my third truck with them. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, and the owners are truly concerned about customer satisfaction. I send everyone that I know to them for service!

I decided to go to this place to have my car serviced because of all the great reviews this place has received. They definitely deserve more than just 5 star reviews. My Ford Focus would not start one morning and ended up needing a whole new engine after the timing belt broke. This was the worst possible thing to happen to my car, due to the fact I travel quite the distance to my job every single day. I thought I was out of luck, and possibly out of a job. The owners ensured me everything would be ok, and quickly found an engine for me and installed it within a very reasonable time. Not only did they replace my entire engine, but also replaced my two back tires because they noticed they were unsafe. I got my car back the other day and it runs better than it ever did! The back tires preformed extreamly well in the awful freezing rain storm we got the other day, where as before I would be terrified to drive it in such conditions. This place definitely places customer service as its number one priority and are very honest, trustworthy, and overall are good people - something that a lot of garages lack. The fact that a large majority of their customers are loyal returning customers says a lot. They definitely value long term customers vs making a quick buck. I will be returning here for any car related service!!! Thank you!!!

Fantastic service, fair prices, and the staff is great to chat with while I am waiting for my car to be worked on. I have been using them for several months now and it is apparent they are out to help you get your car fixed the right way and not just gouge you for un-needed services/parts!

The owners of Auto Fix - Joan and Paul are fantastic.I had car trouble and had to leave my car overnight and the owner Joan put all of my 3 kids' car seats in her car and drove us all home. How sweet she was to do that for me and my children.Not only is Customer Service top notch here but they are certainly fair. I made the (maybe hilarious) mistake of trying to fit a new toilet from Home Depot in my passenger front seat bending the stem of my shift-er. The mechanics worked hard opening up the entire shift area and bending it back so I could actually change gears (this may seem simple but it is not). My bill was very reasonable given the amount of time it took them to get deep into that area so they could fix it. Dependable service at a fair price is hard to come by.Another time I was driving our tiny 2004 Hyundai Elantra home from visiting family and it was around midnight as we were driving north from Albany and a policeman stops us (with all 3 kids asleep in the backseat). He gives us a ticket to fix our license plate light in the back, which had been out for years. They let me bring the car in the next morning to get a replacement so we could send in the paperwork for our fix-it ticket and not be charged.I feel so blessed to find Paul and Joan and all of their hard-working mechanics and know that my car (and therefore me and my children) are safe and in good hands. Being able to trust your mechanic like this offers such peace of mind.I will bring my car no where else.

I can't say how happy I am we found this place after my car had problems while passing through Queensbury. Not only did they get us in right away (and not charge us), they fixed the urgent issue and correctly told me we'd be able to make the rest of our trip and deal with the power steering problem at home instead of billing me for a lot of emergency repairs. On a side note, they were the most pleasant people to talk to for the short time we spent sitting in their shop. I definitely recommend Auto Fix.

We've been bringing our cars there for the last few years and I cannot say enough good things about this business! They are by far the most trustworthy repair shop I've ever been to. They are fast, reliable and do great work. Will never take our cars anywhere else as long as they are open!

My car was in need of some exhaust work, I got an estimate from a shop in Saratoga and then went to Auto Fix. Auto Fix saved me over $1,000 from my original estimate! They were very flexible with drop off, pick up and payment. I was able to drop off and pick up after hours and now my car works great. I highly recommend Auto Fix.

My first time needing a repair shop (as I'm not from this town) I was told to go check these folks out from the Glen street AutoZone clerk. This shop is a great mom n pop shop. When making an appointment on the phone I was quoted $172.00 to have a hard to reach motor mount swapped with the new part I purchased. Once I arrived and the mechanic took my car in. The owner walked over and looked at the job I needed done, then walked into the waiting room and told me that it would be $100 flat to swap the part. I suspected that almost $200 was alittle steep on the phone. BUT once the owner set eyes on the job he very kindly offered me a lower price. That meens a lot when it comes to garages. These folks seem very friendly and honest. I highly recommend them!! Thanks again Auto Fix!!!

Took my car in for an oil change and state inspection, left with a check engine light. Brought the car back mechanic spends a couple minutes with a code reader and then comes back in and says it reads air intake issue but that he isn t sure. His words are we cleared the code, just drive on it and see what happens. If it comes back on just take it to the dealership. Light immediately comes back on so I know it s not just the error of forgetting to reset code after oil change. I have never had an issue with my car knock on wood but now I get to spend more money and time taking it to another shop. I guess the quality of service doesn t matter to some people.

I came to the area with my family for a vacation. My Jeep exhaust broke. I called on a Monday morning and they made room dropped it off within a few hours it was fixed at a great price. I am a manager of a shop and tow company and strongly recommend if you ever need car repairs to call them. A+

We were on vacation at Lake George and smelled gas in our old 2011 HHR. The local Chevy dealer couldn t take us for two weeks. Someone recommended Auto Fix. And even though he also was backed up, Andy worked us in when he smelled the gas and his mechanic found a fuel line leak near the hot exhaust. Thanks, too, to Joan for getting us out the door and safely back on the road. A quality operation that s earned its reputation.

I never pay anyone to fix my vehicles, till I heard my ujoints making ugly noises after a long 4 1/2hr drive with four kids, wife and an American Boxer. Having no tools on me I reverted to Google. The guys at Autofix told me to come right down on a Saturday during a holiday weekend. They confirmed my suspicions and quoted me a very fair price with the quality parts I asked for. Truck was done in a couple hours to complete satisfaction. Highly recommend this shop to people passing through or locals. Thank you guys again for giving me back my vacation and taking care of my Suburban! Respectfully, Patrick

My car unexpectedly broke down While traveling to Lake George for a vacation It Was told was towed to Auto Fix as a leap of faith not knowing anything about them As one would imagine being 300 miles from home you would assume the worst. The car being laid up through my vacation and/or possibly thousands of dollars of work needed , To my surprise, I received a call from the owner of the repair shop three hours after he opened telling me my car was ready. To come pick up And enjoy my vacation. The problem was When I had the car serviced before my trip, somebody did not put together the air filter properly, the computer in the car shut the car down He just charge me a nominal fee.. I just want to express my thanks again in writing for the honesty integrity and Professionalism that I received from Auto Fix.

I just picked up my car after having some work done. It was done in a timely manner(considering we got 20" of snow the day I dropped it off). I was given a very fair price and had a great experience. Honest, fair, knowledgeable...what else can you ask for?!

Great service! Friendly owners! They are the only mechanics i trust with my car. I've also referred my friends visiting from out of state and they were happy customers as well!
