I chose Stofas because I have been driving by for years and kind of watched the place come to life. They just looked like they knew what they were doing. I brought my 2022 Bolt EUV there to repair the hood after a tree branch fell on it. They did a great job and gave me the car in perfect, cleaner than I brought it there condition. Great experience, professional and timely.

Reliable and trustworthy. I bring all of my cars here, including my parents when they are in town and need service. They are honest about the maintenance needed and the timeframe you have until it's needed.

Stofa s is a wonderful business. The staff are all professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I feel safe and comfortable knowing that my car is well maintained by John and his staff. They can even get you tires, mount and balance them. Prices are reasonable and fair no matter the make of your vehicle. This review should have been done last year. Better late than never. Stofa's did body work on my car after a kid side swipped me and did some significant mechanical repairs on my 2008 CTS. They have a great staff who are very professional, honest and friendly. Explained everything thoroughly and beat other estimates I received for both body work and engine repairs. I highly recommend Stofa's for all your automotive repair needs!

Unbelievable service..... Great work for a reasonable price... But the level they take care of their customers is second to none. One of the only places I can call and get in on the same day and be treated to top notch quality! Stofas is the best

We have been going to Stofa's for over ten years and my wife's family has been going there for 25 years. We have all 3 of our cars serviced here. They offer great reliable service, fair prices and you never have to worry about being taken advantage of. Johnny, Big Jim and the rest of the crew are great. I highly recommend.

This experience was awesome. I was kept updated in a timely manner. I was assured that everything was going well and according to plan. I actually got my car back four days ahead of schedule and it looked almost brand new. They also clean it so that saved me from having to do it myself. I would definitely recommend this business. Their service was exceptional and they were courteous the entire time.

Stofa's has earned my trust. They tell me what my car needs, but more importantly what it doesn't need, even if I thought so! When work is needed, it's done right and the prices are fair. They're all great people and treat you with respect. They make sure you understand the details of your work. Am a happy customer and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to Stofa's Auto Service for years. They are the most experienced mechanics I have ever gone to. They are professional and experts in their field. I have reference my friends to them and they were extremely please.When my father was alive, Stofa's was the only mechanics he trusted. If they said a part was needed, it was needed.They have never done anything on my cars that wasn't required and are cost effective. They are the best and have kept me safe was years.Stofa's is the BEST.....

We have been using Stofa's Auto Service for many years .We have always had excellent service. They are very accommodating; getting us in anytime we needed anything, especially on emergency situations. John and his sons, and daughter and staff can be trusted always. Now they have two shops to cover all your auto needs. Thanks to the Stofa's for always doing excellent service.

Stofa's repaired body damage from a collision. The front bumper came back better than before the damage--and they even buffed out some other scrapes I didn't know were possible. They do amazing work! And the best customer service I've ever experienced. I felt treated like family.

The staff at Stofas has always been dependable, honest, and professional in any service or need I had for my car. When I was ready to sell my 10 year old Nissan and had a dent in the bumper, they said they could hammer it out but it might not look perfect. I would have settled for less but It was a beautiful job. I continually recommend them to all my friends and family.

I enthusiastically recommend Stofa's. They've been my repair shop for over 20 years. They are professional, courteous, and friendly. Their work is consistently better than that of your car dealer, and they aren't afraid to tell you when you DON'T need to get work done. They will trouble-shoot and then consult before proceeding. Everything from tires to major overhauls are done with the same careful attention to detail and care in communicating with you.

I have been a customer for 30 years. I have always found Stofa's to be very honest, and very professional. Always extremely satisfied with their work. I would recommend them for all your car needs. This includes the repair facility as well as the collision center.

For years we have been bringing our cars to Stofa's. Have always found them honest & truthful. We have never felt that we were being ripped off. They have always explained what in simple terms what needed to be done. They would even tell you if something could be put off. I just retired not to long ago. They even helped me find a good mechanic in Florida.

I had my car repaired at Stofa's after it was rear-ended.The inside and outside of my 14 year old car was cleaned and the sun damaged exterior plastic parts were greatly improved. They found and fixed some mechanical problems that were not part of the accident. I agreed to pay for the additional work. The charges seemed reasonable.The car looks terrific. The car now drives like new.I was treated like family. If you have to have collision work done, Stofa's is a trustworthy place to have your car repaired.

I've been going to Stofa's for years now. It's family run, and the customer service is spot on. The work is always top notch. Everyone communicates.They can coordinate things like dropping off your car after hours, or seeing you in a pinch (I once had the car towed 25 miles just to have Stofa's be the one to fix it). Thorough diagnosis and a fair price every time. John and his sons seem to know everyone in Poughkeepsie by name. You know you're in good hands. I've used both shops the one on Hooker and the one on Clinton. They're both great.

Stofa's is excellent - trustworthy, and they go the extra mile. We've been going there for 13 years, and wouldn't go anywhere else. They replaced a broken axle for us. About a year later, the same axle broke again, while we were driving, and we had to get towed. Stofa's determined that the axle they installed must have been faulty from the manufacturer e -- and -- with our even asking, they got the manufacturer to reimburse us for the cost of towing, parts, labor to install a new axle. They're super helpful, super trustworthy, and they really, really know what they're doing.

Stofa s was terrific. I had recently brought my 2008 Ford Ranger into a Ford dealership for an inspection and an oil change when finished they mentioned that there appeared to be a minuscule leak in the radiator or in the cooling system, however they could not find where the leak was so they just put more antifreeze in and gave me my truck back. After two days of driving the truck I found that it was leaking pretty profusely, (minuscule leak yah) so I brought my truck to Stofa s and they were able to find the leak almost immediately and it turned out it was in a part of the radiator that could not be repaired so it had to be replaced. these guys are real professionals they know what they re doing and are reasonably priced. I m gonna be going there from now on.

I have had my truck into Stofa's over the last 3 years for everything from inspections to some fairly major engine repair. They have diagnosed problems quickly and done excellent work. They are very through and they get your vehicle back to you very fast !

They really go the extra mile for customers. I brought the car in for a recurring check engine light, and rather than just pushing me to repair what the code said the problem was, they took the time to get to the bottom of the issue. The repair I'll actually need is expensive, but I have more faith that it will solve the problem.They are also great about keeping track of what's going on with my car, and they're clear about which things need to be taken care of, in what time frame. The folks at Stofa's seem more interested in building long term relationships with customers than with making a quick buck.

I have been to hundreds of auto shops including dealers and find Stofa's to be right up there with the best of them.They know their business, very good at diagnosis, honest and the cost is right in line. They will also go out of their way to take care of you quickly.

Incredibly professional and courteous people. Very knowledgeable and honest mechanics at this place. Customer service was beyond exceptional as well as communication. The only downside I would say is that they re short staffed so work might take some time but it s quality work you wouldn t get much elsewhere in dutchess county.Service: TiresService: Tires

We couldn't imagine bringing our cars anywhere else for service. Stofa's provides first class service and is always honest with their customers. That's why their lot is always packed with cars. They wil never run out of work because they have such a loyal following. We trust them implicitly. So glad they have expanded into body work now.

I've taken my vehicles to Stofa's for roughly the last 10 years. From the customer service, scheduling , knowledge and pricing I can't say enough about their family business. I 've owned two SUV's ( one US and one Euro ) and have had 100% satisfaction regarding my experience. I also own a 1965 classic car that Stofa's did a partial restoration and I could not be happier with how it turned out . It Purrs !!!! From Oil changes to major work I'd recommend everyone to take your vehicle to Stofa's Auto.

One stop shop for all your auto needs. Oil Changes to complete collision repair and everything in between. A family run business that I trust completely and have always had a great experience. Excellent customer service along with product knowledge second to none. I highly recommend Stofa's Auto Service!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Stofa's. They know what they're doing and they tell you the truth. I commute a long distance and I need reliable transportation. I trust Stofa's to fix the problem and fix it right the first time! Two Thumbs Up!!

They have given us useful advice and have not hesitated to fit us in at the last minute. We travel a lot and they always make sure our car is ready for the road. Don't know what we would do without the folks at Stofa.
