I ve been going to Sal s for years now and have nothing but good things to say. Unbeatable prices, accommodating scheduling and timely work make this shop stand out. I ve always known Sal to be incredibly helpful and personable when I ve needed his help. I would highly recommend this shop.

This family owned business is the best mechanic I have yet to find! Friendly and super reasonable and you'll have you're vehicle back in no time! I HIGHLY recommend! I will never go anywhere else for car repairs! Thank you so much again Sal! You're the best!!

I am still in shock with how I was treated today at Sal s by Sal himself. My family owns a business on Mill Street and we have lived here for over 30 years. Last week I went to Mavis to get general repairs/maintenance work on my new car. Everything was fixed but unfortunately, their inspection machine was down which is why I decided to drop my car off to sals for a quick inspection. Sal was completely unprofessional from the moment I arrived. He did not remember my appointment that I made last Friday in person. An hour later, he proceeded to tell me multiple things were wrong with my car and everything he was saying were things I had just gotten fixed the week before. When I asked for my keys, he proceeded to tell me that I had to pay because they lifted my car!? This ended up costing more than a regular inspection AND no inspection or work was completed on my car. I then took my car to Mavis, and guess what?! My car passed inspection and there was nothing wrong with it. The way he spoke to me is completely out of line and unprofessional. In short, please save yourself the trip and DO NOT go to this business; they just want your money and the way they speak to people is disgusting!!!

Sal's is where you want to go POINT. BLANK. PERIOD!!!!! He's always nice and respectful and always makes you feel welcomed. He's loyal and treats his returning customers like family. I won't let anyone else touch mine or my wife's car. If they are busy and he has even a ounce of a second to help/listen. He will!!! Going into the holiday weekend, they were on a crunch, and I just needed him to take a quick peak at an issue I was having with my A.C. on my Nissan Altima. I told him that if he didn't have time, I had another vehicle I could drive, but that I wanted to get it fixed soon b4 the summer temps started to rise. His exact words, "Let me see what we can do for you." They were already busy when I pulled up, and customers were rolling in left and right. What I thought would be a major $$$ fix, he did for me in 45mins. For an extremely reasonable price. Sal, I want to thank you for always acknowledging my need and for your willingness to help even when busy. The new ambient temp connector is working as expected, and my A.C. is back to blowing like never b4. A quick disconnect of the + side of the battery reset the temp reading on the dash Thank you so much again! -Britt, From Florida.P.S. No one with a SKILL that you are requesting a service from is going to put up with your bs.

They robbed me blind and I didn't notice until weeks later. Calmed they replaced all four rotors on my car all they did was take the rust off the old ones. And charged me for four new rotors. The receipt was a paper with the price on it nobody's name nothing

This is a family owned business. Sal and his family are very friendly, and they treat their customers like family. You can see and feel the honesty and their professionalism which in their type of business is very important. They have the experience and knowledge to fix any problem your vehicle may have. They always consult with the customer before getting anything done to your vehicle and they give you the best advice. You can save lots of money buy going to them and not your regular car dealer.

When it comes to mechanics this is a very personal relationship with my cars these guys are very fair not cheap but not expensive either. These guys are the best doctors when it comes to healing and fixing your vehicle s. I never feel like I m getting ripped off and I never feel like they taken advantage of me either. I've been taking my vehicles to Sal's for years. The work is always excellent, the repairs are only what you need or request. The prices are great and Sal stands by his work. A family business which is also part of the community. Okay, so I m always very weary of neighborhood repair shops; but the experience I had here was far above expectation. This morning I had my battery light come on and I lost power steering, so I had to find the nearest auto shop, and Sal s was it. So I got there (luckily) and in no more than two minutes after running his diagnostics, he tells me the alternator is shot. Sal gave me two option, to have the part come in tomorrow or today. (Of course I chose ASAP) and he was very reasonable with his prices. He went to auto zone, picked up an alternator (with warranty) and told me he d have my car ready for pickup by 2:30PM. Sal calls me at 1:30 (an hour earlier) and tell me my car is good to go.No issues, no problems, and no headaches with this auto shop. Straight to the point, reasonable, and very timely. Will be returning here if I have any other issues in the future.Service: Battery

I chose to go to Sal's because of the reviews I read and because it is close by. I'm glad I decided to go. They did an oil change and inspection in 15 minutes, just like they promised. They were fast, courteous, and they had the cheapest prices I have seen around here. Will definitely go back again.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I called Sals around 10am because my ABS light was on and my inspection was due. I brought my car in 30 minutes later and Sal ran the computer diagnostics and determined the front left brake sensor needed to be replaced. He ordered the part, did an oil change, the inspection, and was a pleasure to work with. No frills straight to the point. Labor is $90/hr so very reasonable. Will definitely be coming to Sals when I'm in the PK area and need work done. Oh if you pay in cash it's cheaper, and he has an ATM in the shop which is convenient.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

The staff was very nice and helpful. Very fast to change the tire out for a used one. I saw other reviews of being inexpensive but I didn t find it lower than others around though the price wasn t that bad.

Sal has been working on my families vehicles for years now, and has never done us wrong with his work. He's been consistently fair, honest, knowledgeable, and helpful with whatever we've needed. He's done work on our Monte Carlo, Jeep, Corolla forever now. No complaints.

I was recommended to Sal's auto shop, heard a read great things. However, i schedule an appointment for an inspection and was instructed to come at 8am, upon arrival I was told to wait 10 minutes. I complied and in turn waited for additional 40 minutes and I did not receive service. Very disappointed. Punctuality, organization and customer service is lacking and needs improvement.

Sal has been taking care of our vehicles since he opened because I have followed him from previous shops that he has worked at. He is an A mechanic who is ALWAYS on point! He doesn't double the price of parts and his hourly rate is lower than most! In an emergency he will never charge you differently than a non emergency and had never turned us away! I drove into a concrete median wall exiting the nearby hospital parking lot - please no judging. The bumper bended so much it was creating friction to my tire and I could barely turn the truck. I am not from the area and just needed the tire freed up to be able to drive home. These guys were so nice to help me out. Thanks again!

I'm so happy to have found Sal. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to talk with you. For someone like me who doesn't know a lot about cars, it is a wonderful feeling to be able to leave your car with Sal who is smart and trustworthy. He is a master at what he does and a great person.
