First time getting service done on my BMW here and I will definitely come here again! Joe and his crew are knowledgeable, professional, honest, and all round great people. I was able to save a ton of money getting my ac and some other general maintenance fixed on my car here rather than the dealership and I couldn t be happier. I would recommend this place to anyone who owns German cars because of their trustworthy work.

Joe is very good at what he does. Mainly bBENZ as the a name indicates works mostly on Mercedes-Benz cars, BMW's, and Porches are also seen in the lot.

Joe does great work, is honest and has great prices. If you drive a Mercedes or BMW and live within driving distance look no further than Mainly Benz. Awesome service. Would never go back to the Mercedes dealership again. This place is so much better. Only open Monday - Friday and about a 2 week wait. So set your appointment.

I have been taking my BMW to Mainly Benz for almost fifteen years now and the service is always amazing. Joe and his team do excellent work and are very honest. The prices are reasonable and it's a much better value than taking your car to the dealership. I would not let anyone else work on my car at this point. I have driven German cars for many years, and dealt with numerous mechanics. All fell short of providing me with the trust and longstanding relationship I needed to depend on. Meeting Joe changed everything. I contacted him prior to buying a Mercedes and he offered his valuable time in talking me through making the right choice. I've used him ever since, and have absolutely no intention on trusting anyone else. He is a phenomenal mechanic and he doesn't "upcharge" for things you don't need. I cannot say enough great things about this shop. Joe and his team are hands down the best! I don't trust my BMW to just anyone. I know when I take my car to Joe, I am in good hands. Joe and his team are exceptional. I brought my BMW there for a pre-purchase inspection. They went over everything on the car, and gave me a detailed list of what was necessary, what would be upcoming etc.I really appreciated that they came up with a plan that made sense. For example since we were going to do tear apart a certain part of the engine, it made sense, to do some preventative maintenance a bit earlier since those parts were already accesible.Well sought out work, and a great price, and top quality

The only mechanic in the Hudson Valley I trust when it comes to getting an accurate and fair price. Friendly, informative, fast, busy but is willing to work with you. If you have a Benz or foreign car always bring it here to get the straight answer and not a bunch of BS that leaves you guessing.

Owner of this shop is "TOP" in knowledge of all Mercedes Benz cars. If your car is out of Warranty definitely take it here.They've saved me thousands of dollars over dealers that just want to change out parts. Let's face it the dealers service technicians in my experience are just glorified parts changers. They locate a possible problem and keep changing parts until your car is fixed. And that's fine under warranty, but when not it adds up dramatically.I've met Mainly Staff they are actual mechanics. I didn't need my car back ASAP so they were able to give my wife's finicky SL500 tons of TLC, so much so, they saved me literally $3500 over the dealer estimate. And we all know dealer estimates aren't usually less they're more - unfortunately.In closing this place NEVER up sells, forces unneeded service - they fix Mercedes cars (period) - they have my complete trust and and my thanks.Call and make an appointment, tell them you read Rob's review if you'd like. But either way you will find them fair and honest like I did.

I brought my C300 for service A. I am so pleased to find a personable honest mechanic. I was a little early but they took me right away. They had a waiting room with comfortable chairs which I thought I would be in for a while .Well, everything was done in under an hour. Alex was wonderful and even took the time to explain a problem I had withthe car which I had with a prior mechanic. I would certainly recommend them. The price was affordable compared to a Mercedes dealership. I now consider myself a customer.

Can I do 6 stars instead? I'm not kidding when I tell you this - if you're going to the dealership for service then you're throwing 2/3rds of your money away. Joe is the most honest, knowledgable, personable mechanic I've ever met. Many folks in his position want to get the job, finish the job, and get onto the next one. And that's fine - I get it. We're not in business to make small talk. But Joe absolutely goes out of his way to ensure his customers are at ease every step of the way - with immediate car needs, long term maintenance plans, and just general fodder about the cars we love so much as owners. I truly cannot compliment my experiences at Mainly Benz enough. We very much recommend Joe and Mainly Benz.

If you have a German car like Mercedes-Benz or BMW you better stay with mechanics who know what they are doing. Joe is definitely one of them and he is very fair with pricing. I found him from one of his neighbor mechanics and now I know where to bring my Mercedes if anything needs to be done. He knows a lot about European cars. If you have one of them this is the address you should do business with. I am so glad there is a honest, trustable mechanic out there who would fix my car without headache and question in my mind.

The mechanism attached to the wiper motor became detached on my 91 Mercedes 300 G-Wagen. Access is through removing the instrument panel. Over a 2-hour period they instead were able to fish the detached parts through the quite small hole under the hood where the wiper motor is installed. For a charge of just one hour of labor - nothing else - they got the wipers working again. They kept me informed throughout and were very pleasant and knowledgeable. They pointed out a small deteriorated part in the washer hose under the hood, and offered to fix it at some future date after they d done some research into this 31 year-old model. Very very impressive.

Joe gained has now gained a new customer! He is honest and is ver knowledgeable of his craft. I highly recommend him for BMW service at a fraction if the cost.

If you have a Mercedes these guys can fix it. You would think there prices would be out of this world but you would be wrong. They do quality repairs at a reasonable price. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly.

I have a ML 350 the night before my window lock broke I was upset and stressing because I have 2 babies I carry in the car and my drivers side window would not go up I called this business 8 am the following morning and although I was a first time customer he took care of me got my part in hrs and they installed within min they have gained a customer my car will be needing service soon and I will continue spending my money at mainly benz I was so happy he fixed my car Friday because the next day it rained he is the nicest man and so good with these type of cars

If your talking about Mr. Joe Meier There is nobody in this country to hold a candle to his talents and knowledge when it comes to Mercedes Benz any Benz. This Man is Simply put is the Greatest, a friend who always owned MBs hipped me to this miracle of a Man. Yea go find me another cause it ain't happening in this State PeriodAside from being brilliant my friend went to 6 other highly touted MB Mechanics not a one out of the 6 he saw could find the problem plaguing his ride and then he met Joe, job done within 3 days and he was charged as he put it InExpensive and this Mans so up front without any of the nonsense you receive from other Mercedes Mechanics Joe Meier's is one of the only specialists I know that is Incredibly Honest..Guys like Joe are just not around anymore. Trust me cause I got short money but just cannot rid myself of my 97 S500 with 115K milesThere are other shops around another strong shop in Newburgh is Xavier's 144 rt 17K If you've been getting the shaft on your Mercedes Don't walk just Run cause this Guys crew are Super Buzzzzzzy There the best and they are straight and right No relation or vested interest in putting up this Man's shop and giving it the absolute highest Marks possible.
