Scumbags here. Will tell you need this and that for a simple inspection. Calming you need wipers and wheel bearings. Once had a wheel bearing done here they used a torch and blew the oil pan on my car with the heat and then take no responsibility for there actions. A horrible shot garage should have been shutdown years ago.

I went there earlier to see why my check engine light came back on. When I was sitting in their small lounge, a mouse walked up to me. I took a picture, showed the clerk, and his first response wasn't to apologize immediately. I told him to check my car in the next 5 minutes, or I'm leaving. He couldn't do it, so I left.

I was able to get an appointment quickly however that was just for an estimate to determine what is wrong with my vehicle..I hate going to a garage as a single woman because 90% of the time I get ignored,attitude,not taken seriously and get alot of "mansplaining" or completely taken advantage of as if I dont have any knowledge of car repairs or any knowledge of what repairs are cosmetic and not necessary for vehicle to drive safely and pass inspection if needed..for example I have had certain mechanics try to tell me that I needed a whole new ABS system because my ABS light was and vehicles will not pass unless brakes function properly... Obviously the vehicle has to have working brakes however I know that only light on that will affect inspection is the engine light....however I assume that there are some women or men even who may not know that and they would have to pay hundreds or more for repairs that could have waited and would have not had any effect on the inspection...its just frustrating sometimes to be treated like because I am a girl I shouldn't have much knowledge about anything under the hood...

Super team, took my daughters car in for a last minute maintenance before she hit the road for Christmas holiday. Very much appreciate the team working her in on short notice.

They were fast and friendly! I had snow tires put on and I scheduled an appointment ahead of time and they got it done right on time! Thanks guys much appreciated!

I love this shop. I've had numerous tire leaks over my past two cars; my Kia had bead leaks occasionally, and my new Buick got a nail in its tire. They always get me in and out on the same day I call, and their prices are more than fair. They went as far as to calibrate my sensors and fill my other tires while they were at it. Love Potsdam Tire and Auto, highly recommend. Thanks guys!

This is the first time coming to any auto shop on my own and I was unsure about how to go about getting my car repaired but the manager, was very friendly and helpful and even had me communicate directly with the mechanic to ensure that there was no miscommunication. I had a list of things that I suspected were wrong with my car, and the mechanic, was very honest and explained to me after checking and driving the car around, that there was no issue. I was offered to have my fluids checked and not charged for any of the services, as I was assured that there was nothing wrong. I would definitely recommend this place! Very helpful and honest people.

We appreciate the thorough and friendly service that we received from Potsdam Tire & Auto. Mike at the front desk is very friendly and efficient, and even stayed late to help us finish up with our vehicle. Mark is thorough and honest with his estimates and his repairs. We ve lived in the area some time and this is the first and only shop we ve found to treat us fairly and like part of the community. They will be getting our repair business from now on. Thanks guys!!

On the day of the appointment I had scheduled, Mike in the front, gave me an estimated time of 45 minutes to an hour for the job to get done. I was called an hour later and told that they were unable to find the key to my car wheel locks. (This means they waited a whole hour later to even try to work with my vehicle, despite being given an hour for the completion of the job). They asked me to come in and look for the key myself and as soon as I came in and looked into the glove compartment, the key was there.. I repeatedly expressed where the key would have been found AND it was right where I told them it would be. I also noted that when "looking" for the key, they even flipped my seats and did not return things to the way they were.Giving them a second chance on repairing my vehicle, I decide to use their small waiting area to wait for my vehicle considering Derek in the back told me it would take about an hour max to get the job done, now. Mike then tells me that it is not a good area to wait in because they're going on their lunch break and to reschedule for later on in the day or possibly even tomorrow. I was expected to be flexible with them due to their lack of responsibility. This is unacceptable! I will NOT be returning and DO NOT RECOMMEND their services!
