Not a place I would recommend for getting your vehicle worked on. What was supposed to be 2-3 hours of work ended up being 6 hours of work. I wasn t the only one waiting too long, a few people waited over 3 hours for their oil change. I was charged full price, with no apologies. Only 1 mechanic was working on my vehicle because someone called into work. I was told he was pissed off & didn t get a break all day. Made me feel bad for coming honestly. & then not even 1,000 miles later my new tires needed realigned again! The back were caving in. They couldn t help us in any way. We took our vehicle elsewhere in town to Emlaws. Cheeper, better, faster service!

Since Blevins deleted my Facebook comment providing a review of them, I m more than happy to share publicly on Google.Last year I wanted to trade my vehicle in. I initially started dealing with Blevins as I wanted to support a local business. Blevins offered me a very low ball trade in offer. I laughed and immediately walked away. I ended up dealing with Krystal Dodge Chrysler Jeep & they offered me much more for my trade and were great to deal with. Not long after I purchased my vehicle, I received a recall on it. I decided to take it to Blevins as they are close to my home. Once completed, I received a call saying my vehicle was ready for pickup. I wasn t provided any detail as to whether or not it needed repairso of course I asked and was told no, it didn t any repair, it was good to go. Once I gotin my vehicle to go home, I looked at the receipt& noted Blevins serviced 2 other things I did not even take my vehicle in for & charged my warranty for it.Recently, my husbands truck needed repair,we decided to take it to Blevins with them being a certified mopar garage. Long story short, they could not diagnose the truck and decided to guess on what the problem was and replaced several unnecessary parts in the truck & then charged $5,000 for absolutely nothing. After Blevins kept the truck for over 2 months, they returned it in worse shape than when it went in. What kind of garage doesn t do an alignment on a vehicle after replacing several front end parts that the truck did not even need? I took the truck to a different garage after and they immediately were able to find the problem that Blevin sCould not. They are supposed to be a mopar certified garage, but yet could not figure out that a truck needed ball joints?! To anyone reading this, please take my advice & avoid Blevins Motors. Dennis Jarvis & John Blevins are by far the worst businessmen I ve ever dealt with in my life. My husband called and requested to speak to John Blevins directly to dispute the bill as Blevins was charging an astronomical bill when they didn t fix any of the problems the truck went in for & the words from John Blevins were if you don t have a credit card to pay for it, then I don t want to talk to you & hung up the phone.Blevins motors:In response to your feedback on my review. You never consulted with me in regards to performing additional service to my vehicle aside from what I took it in for, that is something that should be approved by the owner prior to taking it amongst yourself to perform the service. As far as my husband s truck, everything you said is false. The dealer the truck was purchased from was not aware of the issues, however was more than willing to come good for any repairs the truck needed. The dealer the truck was purchased from did in fact pay you for the entire bill, therefore they did not refuse, however they did in fact dispute it as it was thousands of dollars worth of work that the truck did not need & the truck was not fixed. The truck was in fact returned to me in worse shape than when it went in. You did not align it, the steering wheel was at 1:00 & it was pulling to the right .& furthermore, you did not re-assemble the dash properly. As soon as I got in my truck there was a loud whistling noise coming from the dash as it was not put back together correctly. Also, you disconnected the windshield washer fluid hose which I had to fix myself afterwards. I have no idea what you re referencing when you talk about electronics, I took my truck in for a clunk in the front end & AC repair which has nothing to do with electronics. When you say John Blevins did not speak to my husband on the phone demanding a credit card, that is a pure lie. The call was on speaker and I personally heard John Blevins say that to my husband. It doesn t even matter who he said it to, what kind of business owner says such words to a customer? Very unprofessional. I appreciate your comment as it prompted me to go even more in depth with the kind of service provided.Tiffany Mitchell

Excellent staff did great job on my truck looks completely new again. They worked well with the insurance, My truck was completed quickly, Potsdam and Massena Blevins we're so Cooperative you couldn't ask for anything more!

I just bought a used Durango from Blevins in Potsdam and was extremely happy with the service! I worked with Tammy and she was so helpful and walked me through the process to make it seamless. She even took the time to help me figure out how to sell my previous vehicle (a lease). I can t say enough good things about my experience working with Tammy and I will definitely seek her out in the future for buying vehicles! Thanks Tammy!

I would highly recommend Blevins to everyone! I was in Canton for a few days and the day before I m scheduled to leave (in the afternoon) I noticed what sounded like a knocking noise when I would let my foot off of the gas. It really had me concerned because I had a 4+ hour drive home the next day - lots of curvy roads and mountains (at 55 mph and higher speeds)! Originally, I went to a place across the street from my hotel and explained the situation. They agreed to take a look at my Jeep. They said I did have a missing lug nut on my rear passenger side tire but that it wasn t causing the noise and that everything was safe for me to drive home the following day. I didn t have a warm and fuzzy and a friend recommended Blevins. I walked in around 4 pm and explained the situation. Noah Putnam asked to ride with me to identify the noise - but we never even needed to pull out of the parking lot when he told me he knew what was causing the noise and to pull into the bay. Not only was I missing the lug nut on the right rear tire but all of the lug nuts on both rear tires were loose (some of them he could unscrew with his hand)! And some of the front tires lug nuts were loose too! He tightened them all and replaced the missing lug nut and sent me in my way. I have no doubt he saved me from a serious accident- and may have even saved my life. I am forever grateful to him and to Blevins!

I just purchased a 2027 Hyundai Sonata. Emily Levens was fantastic. I drive for Uber and had some very specific needs, personally and professionally. She knew her inventory very well and was able to quickly get it down to three solid possibilities for me to test drive. She saved me a lot of time and stress without a high-pressure sale. I highly recommend talking to her when you find yourself needing a car.

I bought a jeep compass from Blevins in potsdam. The service from the sales person Tammy Beaudin was great. She was such a good help. Even got me the vehicle I wanted delivered to her dealership on super short notice. I test drove it and drove it home the same day. The body shop did an amazing job on fixing a few spots on my hood. Can't even tell there were spots before. Paint was perfect match. I highly recommend Blevins in potsdam. I will never go anywhere else for a vehicle.

Just called to have snow tires put on my new car. They told me they weren't taking new customers right now and that I should call their Massena location which is half an hour out of my way. Not sure who turns away the opportunity to make money, but clearly they are not interested. I had the same experience with sales department who were pricing vehicles way above fair market value and unwilling to negotiate. I guess this was my warning and it may have saved me problems down the road.

We found Blevins RV through a web search and they were able to get us connected with a 2019 Sunchaser pontoon boat that needed a forever home. Sales manager Terry made the sales process painless and the Service crew put everything together right to get us on the water without problems or delay.We appreciate all the team there did to make our boating dream a reality.Thanks again....

RV Center Potsdam. Less than a month after spending $170.00 to install a 7 way plug for my van. It was blowing fuses. I took it in for a look. They charged me $100 to check it, less than 5 minutes work. Rip off! Stand my your work. Not going back!

I can't say enough how truly appreciative I am of Rob with his time, effort, and enthusiasm. I am from the Syracuse area and found myself driving to Potsdam twice to make a deal at this dealership with Rob.I was in the market for a new truck. More specifically; a 2020 Ram 1500 Night Edition with Level 2 equipment group, and was looking to complete a purchase asap.I went through hell with a bunch of different dealerships and their sales teams. I literally think I called, emailed, internet inquired over 20 dealerships. Very few had gotten back to me. Most of the internet inquiries I put out were responded to by automated emails that sound personal but I assure are not. I couldn't get straight answers through most of the people in which I actually did speak with. I had 3 different dealerships tell me they had what I was looking for, baited me in and they did not have the vehicle then promised that with out doubts they could get a truck from outsourcing from another dealership. Needless to say they couldn't obtain one. Some of them were even supposedly still working on it but I still have yet to hear back from. There was another dealer down south in Watkins Glen that I personally found in their inventory the truck I was looking for. I called and was dealing with salesman an his manager. I got myself pre approved through my bank prior to driving to them. I was just waiting to get the final trade in number value on my current truck and I was going to be on my way to purchase. (2 he drive). Apparently the salesman had that day off and his manager left me hanging. Next morning when the salesman was back in, he told me halfway through the day the truck is sold! Excuse me?!?! I was pushed aside and then was told they have to help the people that are standing in front of them. Very rude, very unprofessional. If they hadn't put me to the back burner an asked me for money to hold the truck, I would have done so. So then my search continued.Another dealer I spoke to after (knew that all of the above had happend) told me she could get me what I was looking for no problem. She called me back asked for $500 so she could get the truck on its way....needless to say she couldn't get it. I even handed her a list of places I found that may have the truck...she too left me hanging in wind over weekend and has not located me a truck.Then in a last attempt myself I found a truck online and the platform said Blevins Motors has it in inventory. I inquired via the platform and was immediately contacted via text (my choice) from a real human and his name was Rob. After messaging a bit he confirmed his inventory and asked to speak on phone, so we did. During out conversation on a late Saturday morning I asked him if he would be willing to put vehicle aside for me just long enough for me to make the drive. He said he would gladly do so and upon seeing it if I needed it held until Monday when banks open it would only be $100 to hold in good faith.I made the drive out there as I said I would, and he honnored his word. He even stayed late for me. That is a true salesman whom cares and is willing to do what he has to in order to make a deal. I feel he went above and beyond for me and for that.....THANKS ROB! YOU ARE THE MAN!Highly recommend Blevins Motors, it's worth a drive if need be. Ask for Rob and you will leave a happy new customer!

Had a great experience! Found my vehicle and they made it extremely easy to purchase, and even went out of their way to give me the extras I wanted. Friendly and fast service, and answered all my questions throughly. I will be going back to buy my next car or truck from Blevins.

We called this dealer to see if we could get our Ram 2500 in for service. We ve had it 5 months and it s under warranty. We were told it s their policy as well as the manufacturer s policy that if it wasn t bought there they won t service it. An online chat with the manufacturer did not support this and in speaking to others, they ve had cars serviced there even though it wasn t purchased from them. 2 years ago we brought a vehicle in to be serviced (that we did buy from them) and they couldn t do it . We had to go to a place 90 miles away to get it fixed. In over 30 years we ve purchased many vehicles from this dealer but never again. Especially since they screwed us over on a trade in. Plenty of other dealers out there. BTW, a Chrysler dealer 15 miles away gladly took us in. Must be they didn t get the memo that stated they couldn t service vehicles they didn t sell....

Very poor customer service. I wish I could lock - unlock or even start my truck with out being 1 foot from my truck. i was in the shop over 10 times for the same problem to this day it still does not work.All I want is to be able to lock my doors to my tuck. Is that to much to ask?UpdateStarter still does not work at this point I want a new truck under lemon lawIs fixing the starter to much to ask when it never worked?John was even told by people that worked there to fix it but John just told me that he was going to call the cops on me.He is a bad business man to customers and the employees yes John why do you think everyone leaves.

We bought our two campers from Blevins in Potsdam. First time if having a tow behind. They explained alot of things to us and took time to answer our questions. We bought our new truck from Blevins in Potsdam also. Very customer friendly.

Word car dealership ever wouldn't honor my $5000 top to bottom warranty on my new jeep because I didn't buy it from them , place is a joke and they are a bunch of clowns they wouldn't even order my grandma a red jeep when she wanted a red one and they expect you to buy anything from them. I will be filing a lawsuit

I bought a 2014 Jeep Patriot. In not even 6 months the electronic throttle control housing needed to be changed which left me and my fianc� on the side of the road. John Blevins refused to help in any way seeing it was a total of $562. John Blevins does not value his customers and obviously doesn t back his vehicles unless you purchase his warrantys.

Terrible service all around. I baught a brand new jeep at another location and they wouldn't fix a warranty or they wouldn't fix my recall. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. And only giving one star because no start isn't an option.

Worst dealer ever. Will not take care of local customers. Very rude. Will not honor warranty work if you bought vehicle somewhere else. I bought a new ram 2500 in Syracuse because these fools lies and said they would have the model I wanted when I got there. They did not. N pplpt they won't warranty my truck.
