I don t write many reviews but I absolutely felt that I had to let anyone that was even thinking about using Portside Collision that they should bring your car or truck there as soon as possible without hesitation.Juan at Portside Collision is a perfect gentleman and does fantastic work!!Being born and raised in New York City, I have unfortunately had to deal with many body shops over the years for one reason or another. Never have I felt so comfortable leaving my car with someone as I did with Juan.He was patient and kind in all of his words and actions. I will undoubtedly use him for all of my collision needs for as long as he is in business.I can t wait to refer him to the next person that needs some body work done!Do not hesitate to call or go in person. He is the man!

Highly recommend! Juan and his team are professional, courteous, and do excellent work. My parents and I have been bringing vehicles to Portside Collision for years, and I just had another repair a few days ago. Same great service. A++

Had an excellent experience with port side collision. The staff was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Getting into an accident is stressful and inconvenient but they made it way less of a headache. They were honest and managed expectations really well. They kept to the timeframe we spoke about and kept me informed along the way. My car looked amazing when all was said and done. Would absolutely go back (although hoping I won t have to) and recommend to anyone in need!

Had someone rear end my late model Lexus. $12,000.00 in damage. Met Juan the owner who assured me that he could make the car like new. I was concerned due to the amount of damage and the fact that the car is black. It took a few weeks to repair the car. The workmanship was outstanding and the paint color match was perfect. I am astounded at the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire staff. I've had collision work done before but the quality of work at Portside is a whole new level of good. Absolutely fine, outstanding work. Highly recommended.

Just wow is all I have to say Juan and his crew are too notch! Being in the automotive industry you can tell what your getting and when you go to port side your getting 110% it's as if nothing ever happened to the car! I know where I'm going with all my auto body and collision jobs from now on it's not very often you find a shop that does work to this quality perfect!

I've been going to Portside collision for many years now and I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. I have recommended them to many family members and friends and people I know drive from all over NY to entrust their vehicles with Juan. No matter how big or small, Juans attention to detail and communication is unparalleled in the industry. Trust the reviews, 5 stars isn't enough.

I have never experienced someone like Juan who dedicates himself to doing a great job. He'll treat your car like it's his own. I looked around for a body shop who would paint my 1988 Toyota Supra as the previous paint was getting tired and cracking. I encountered some body shop owners either not wanting to get involved or wanting to do a full restoration. I wanted the car to look good but didn't want to spend a fortune. He gladly took the job and gave me a middle of the road price and expectation of the quality paint job. As it turned out he went above and beyond what I expected and was told. He worked on the car over the winter months and took his time removing bumpers, quarterpanel glass, door handles, spoiler, mirrors and more. I don't drive the car in the winter and didn't mind the wait and boy it was worth the wait. What was amazing he did it all for the same estimate. You won't be disappointed. Thanks, Juan

If i could give Portside Collision 100 stars, i would!!! They are all extremely friendly, helpful, flexible, professional, and really care about you and your vehicle!I took my brand new 2021 Kia k5 for undercarriage & front bumper damage.. My parents had suggested them to me because they had dealt with them in the past & had a great experience. Juan gave me a few options/price variations, and left it all up to me to pick what worked for me price-wise. (not to mention.. being a young female, anywhere else would have taken advantage of that and charged me an arm and a LEG!) but .. Not only did they fix what they said they would, they also went above and beyond to satisfy me, fix my damage and make my car look brand new again. I honestly could not find the words to explain how great they are.DO NOT go anywhere else!!!! Portside Collision is the place to take your vehicle, they will not stiff you, or overcharge you. They are absolutely amazing and i couldn't speak anymore highly about them! Thank you Juan & the Portside crew! Service: Body & Trim

Amazing service overall. My car looks so good! They even gave it back cleaner than it was and I couldn t thank him enough. He communicated with me very well and is so kind and understanding. I 100% recommend this business to anyone and will be using them again if ever needed, I don t think I d trust anyone else with my car anymore besides them.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! Juan and his team are the BEST of the best! My car looks brand new and came out perfect. I'm so happy! The inside and outside are wayyyy cleaner than when I gave it to them. Truly way above and beyond. Not to mention, Juan was super nice and kept me updated on my car repairs. I would recommend them a thousand times over. Thanks Juan and your team for all you did to fix my car and make it perfect again.

As good as it gets! Juan is the owner of Portside Collision, he is great! This was the first time I was here, I brought my SUV in for a bumper replacement after someone hit me in the parking lot. Jaun talked you through everything, he answered all your questions, even questions you didn't know you had he answered before you could think of those questions. He ordered my new part the same day I spoke with him, and I hadn't even dropped the vehicle off, it would be another 2 days before I dropped my vehicle off. I spoke with him 5/16, dropped my vehicle off on 5/18, my bumper was already there. I just got my vehicle back today and I couldn't be happier. He explained how he saved me money, he explained how everything worked out to make everyone happy in the long run. He got me in, he got the work done in a timely manner, and the impressive part was I got my vehicle back before one of the busiest holidays that kick off the summer, Memorial Day! I definitely recommend Jaun! He is professional, his communication is very clear; there was never an misunderstanding about what was going on. He spends time with you to explain things and works well with your insurance company as well as you. He explains all your options having to do with your repair. He also washes your vehicle before you get it back and does an interior wipe down. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back for any repairs I need! I was recommended to go here after I had a terrible experience at Mavis by a client. Juan was so professional. I told him the work I needed to be done (My window regulator broke) and he quoted me a great price on the phone. He even let me bring my car there the same day so he can set my window back into place! Mavis let me drive around with my window stuck down even though they could ve had the decency to put it back up. Just show s you the difference when you go to a business that has their clients best interests at heart. Any future work I get done Juan will be my first call. Thank you so much Juan!

Juan and his team are exceptional! I waited a little while before I did my review but my car came out fantastic. I'm very particular about my paint as im a detailer, and I honestly couldnt tell anything ever happened. If you have any issues, or questions Juan is very attentive and made me feel comfortable I chose the right spot after checking many other body shops prior. Juan at Portside did such a great job with my car!!! When he was done, it looked even better than it did before my accident. It looks brand new inside and out. I've never been in a situation like this before and had no idea how to start or where to go. A young girl needing a lot of body work, I was scared I was going to be told all different things to leave me paying out as much as possible.In my search, I saw nothing but positive reviews for Portside on my community page and decided to try it. The owner, Juan, helped me through the process and put my mind completely at ease. When I came down in another car for the insurance inspection, he saw the headlight was out and kindly changed it for free. Juan worked with my insurance company to put me in the best possible position financially with the deductible. Nothing but trust and great things to say about this place! Who is really happy going to an auto collision shop? Well, thanks to Juan Lago, the owner of PORTSIDE COLLISION CENTER, I must admit, Juan made my day.My vehicle was damaged by a driver who was riding the shoulder and then decided to cut in front of me.At PORTSIDE COLLISION CENTER, I was greeted by a sincere individual who assessed the damage and explained in detail, the corrective measures in a very honest and fair way.In a timely manner, the damage was corrected and more important than the damage itself, Juan restored not only my fender, but my opinion of the human race.There will always be negative people in this world, but people like Juan make it a more positive and pleasing experience.Thank you to a true craftsman and gentleman.

My car needed some minor work done and I was unsure about where to bring it so I googled reputable shops in my area and this place kept coming up with a ton of terrific feedback. I ended up taking my car here and the reviews were right. This place is excellent! Juan and his team got my car all fixed up and even fixed an issue I had on the car not related to the reason I primarily brought it in, and they did it for free! That s how you gain a new customer and that s exactly what I am now! Thanks so much Portside and I will definitely see you again!

Best auto collision ever! Juan is amazing! He is very honest and trustworthy. I will not take my car anywhere else. He worked with me and went above and beyond what was expected. My car had about $10,000 worth the damage and it now runs better than it ever has. It runs better than when I first bought my truck. Carie in customer service is also very nice and Caring. This is the only place I trust to fix my car and fix it right.

Portside Collision is by far the best Mechanics I have been to. From the beginning they made it very easy to have my car repaired after an accident. I was referred to Juan and his team from another one their clients. To say they have gone above and beyond would be an understatement. Since this was my first accident I was unfamiliar with the process, Juan did a great job of not only putting me at ease but also talking me through how to go about reporting it through insurance and picking up a rental. He even suggested I get it towed since we were unsure if the engine may have been damaged. Most importantly the car was brand new and it was devastating I crash it. I recall Juan reassuring me that he would do whatever he could to restore it to exactly how it was so that I wouldn t have to look at the damage and relive the experience. I have to say he did not disappoint! It was such a relief to see my car restored back to brand new. In regards to pricing I went through insurance. However my family reviewed the estimate and thought it was priced very fairly. Even if they were to charge more I would definitely pay because you known what you are getting and the service and quality of work makes it worth every penny!

Juan is the owner of the shop and is possibly the most pleasant person I have worked with. I live 40 minutes away but I have never regretted the long travel to get to his shop. He has done work on 2 of my cars and each time they look absolutely amazing. He also stands behind his work and is a true professional.
