I've been coming here religiously for over 5 years. Will is the absolute best and will never take advantage of you. His dad is awesome as well. Extremely honest place and always does the best job. From my first horror of a car he always gave me all of my options with recommendations and he's not pushy like some other places. Maintenance is a breeze and he always gives me a heads up on what might need work and a time frame. My mother and my husband both bring their cars to him now as well. We're always happy when we leave and it's never a hassle to get an appointment or drop off. I always recommend this shop to anyone looking to get work done whether it's a beater car or luxury.Also, very reasonable. If he wasn't I wouldn't care about the money because I know my car is COMPLETELY taken care of. Also, very polite with a great sense of humor if anyone cares about that stuff in NY anymore.Thanks for all your consistent and wonderful work!

Please go immediately to the updated review below. Discard reading this one. A decent and HONEST establishment. 5 stars across the board. Will was upfront and honest with Me about everything. Great guy. A thousand different car places I could of went to and I m happy I chose the right one. I ll continue to go here. I can t say enough great things.Update: I will be taking what was said above back. Spark plugs were done here. After a couple of Months the check engine light came on and car failed. Had to get it towed back home. Took it to another auto body shop in town and they stated someone put the wrong type of spark plugs in. It was THIS place. After the guy who did the work from HERE gave me a song and dance on how other places out in the wrong type of spark plugs just to make money. Oils t be honest could you? You would of had a lifelong customer. I will be boycotting your business and hope many others see the updated review. Sheisters.

I drive a 2009 Honda accord back and forth to Brooklyn for work(120 miles round trip) and it has been taking a toll on my car, especially with the treacherous roads that I drive on(belt and LIE) I met with Shaun at Smithtown Tire Corp and had him look at my car since it has been making some grinding noises in the rear. He gave my car a full check up and gave me the bad news, i needed back brakes(calibers, rotors, pads) and new rotors and pads for the front, as well as rear struts. He was kind enough to text me photos of the brakes to show me how bad they've gotten. Now, when you hear all this, you wonder if it will be worth fixing or should i just get a new car, since the vehicle is a 2009, but when he provided me what the cost would be to complete the repairs, I was happily surprised on how reasonable the price was and had him and his team complete the repairs. It was completed the next day and all my issues were resolved at an affordable price. He even compounded the front headlights as they've become clouded. Thank you so much for the quality service and advice. Shaun has been a lifetime friend of mine and has proven his quality craftsmanship through his love of automotive mechanics just ANOTHER time. Great service. Goes above and beyond for his customers. Identifies what's wrong and then tells you how critical it is to fix that issue. No pressure at all. All around great experience. I really like that I don't have to stick around. I can go back to work. It's really convenient for me. I've been happy with the service every time I ve been there. They are very professional, very helpful and polite throughout. Very pleased - a good job at a very fair price and without the "pressure sell" you get from the chain auto repair stores. I would recommend this service to everybody.

Will went above and beyond and got us back on the road. He patiently explained what happened to our brakes and took us in even though it was late in the day. So glad we found such an honest person!

You might think I did not noticed. But I bought a 600 dollar water pump for my BMW X5 and this guy never actually installed the new part I bought. Upon checking the part came to discover the part was the same old part. Paid the guy several hundreds of dollars and took weeks and nothing was repaired and they charged meDo not recommend this scammers

Left my 37 Ford Street Rod with Shaun with a list of various services needed, which included installing a new Edelbrock 650 carburetor, New complete fuel line and fuel pressure gauge, Transmission service including a new filter and sensor and Transmission Pan, Replaced crushed rear brake line, Oil change and filter service, Plugs ,Wires and tuning of engine. Don t usually leave my car with anyone overnight but let it be known my car was in very good hands it was stored inside and under my car cover.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Will is perhaps the most honest, straight-up mechanic I've ever met; and a good brake-guy, too.I had a stuck brake caliper. He charged me about HALF of what the local MAVIS tires wanted to replace it. He also fixed an AC problem that he could have charged me an arm and a leg for; and asked for only $20. A 'lazy' servo under my dash was keeping the ports shut, except for the ones you use to defrost your windshield. Any other outfit would have charged me a $1,000 to first pull apart the dash.I have other things needing done with my 17-year-old Chevy Avalanche, and I was really thinking of selling it. But, with guys like Will around, I think I'll keep it. I brought my son home from the hospital in it, and in a couple of years, he says he wants it.It ain't too pretty but it's the perfect winter-beater; and that 4WD system with 'Granny Gear' and On-Demand AWD saved my life on at least one occasion, pulled a really big boat out of the water at an unimproved ramp in the Middle Keys (when guys pulling smaller boats with their F150s were barely able to get out and slinging a ton of mud in the air in the process), and regularly towed that boat to the Keys and back from Jupiter, FL; at highway speed!It's a great system and can only be bought on new trucks and SUVs to the tune of $70 large. I think I'll keep it.Besides, in 2 more years it'll cost $0 to register.Will - thank you, man...you made me realize in only a few words the value of the thing.

I brought my car to Port Jeff tire and brake for simple oil change and now one week later my engine blew out all because while they were putting the axles in ( that I allegedly needed so badly according to them ) they damaged the oil tank. So if you're in the market for a new car I suggest you go to Port Jeff tire break so they can ruin yours giving you the opportunity to go and buy a new one. Whatever you do, do not use a Port Jeff tire and brake they don't know their butts from their elbows. I will be holding them fully responsible for all damages thanks for the documentation that I received

It takes a lot for me to give an auto mechanic 5 stars. These guys have saved my butt almost a handful of times and every time it was a reasonable price and never took advantage of me. We need more mechanics /shops like this !!!
