Purchased shower doors from them. They came and installed and we ended up with a leak that destroyed our downstairs ceiling. Called them multiple times and left multiple messages to which they did not return. I finally had to leave work early and go there in person to speak with them. They said to each other that they believed the leak was due to bad plumbing. They sent a technician over to re caulk the doors and the leak stopped. Had they done the job correctly the first time I wouldn t have to replace my downstairs ceiling. Thank you Glassland for the horrible job you performed and your terrible customer service. This would be the reason why you have irate customers show up at your business.

Stay away from glassland inc glassland of mount sinai glassland america and Hildreth glass. has many different names. the owner is Christopher� Pirato� he� has no license it was REVOLKED by Suffolk County Consumer Affairs in 2018. he works without a license his work is terrible he gave us shower glass that was� all chipped and scratched, measured the shower door wrong the door is too long sweep keeps breaking and door doesn't shut properly,� cracked the� a BRAND NEW tile� on wall when installing hinges ,the silicone leaks and the corner where the 2 pieces of glass meet they over lap should have had a 90 degree� angle where they met. they don't return calls they lied about the order time told us 2 weeks it was a month. Never gave us the DFS coating registration card to register the special coating on glass.� They are rude if you do get them on the phone. We won a judgement in court he refuses to pay. he has alot of� lawsuits against him. I could go on much longer but it's making me sick thinking about it.Service: Glass installation

October 1 - The owner Chris reported to my residence at 7 Kensington Way, Port Jefferson Station NY 11776, to give an estimate for my broken patio glass door. Chris, gave me a price of $495.00. I gave him ck#323 in the amount of $250.00, he said the glass would be in between 7-10 business days. I was sent and email on 10/01/2020 at 1:16PM, that outlined the details of this transaction #Q015975.October 17- I called Glassland, to find out the status of my order for glass repair. The secretary put me on hold for a few minutes and told me that my glass was coming in the afternoon on 10/17/202. She informed me that they can install it any day but Monday October 19, so we schedule repair for October 20th between 11-1pm.October 19- I received a voice message on my cell phone from the secretary from Glassland, who stated that the glass did not come in as she stated on 10/17/202, so they will no be at my residence on 10/20/2020 to install the glass repair and she didn t give me a rescheduled date.October 23 - I called, and spoke to the owner Chris, I explained to him the conversation, I had with his secretary on October 17 and 19/202. Chris, apologize to me and informed me that he would personally take care of my order and get back to me with regards.October 30 - I called Glassland, to find out the status of my patio glass. I left a detailed recorded message explaining that it has been 21 business days and I would like to know the status. I explained that if the can t provide my glass then they can return my deposit of $250.00, and I ll go somewhere else.November 03- I called Glassland to find out the statues of my replacement glass for my patio door # Q015975. It appears that Glassland representative recognize my phone number and send my call to voicemail giving me the option to leave a message which, I did and hung up. I called from my wife s cell phone 1 minute later and they pick up the call. I identified who, I was and explains that the owner Chris came to my house on October 1, 2020 gave me an estimate and a completion date of 7-10 business days. I informed her that it s been over a month. The secretaries response was that I m not the only customer. I informed her, I was aware, I wasn t the only customer it s been over a month now and I was told that it would take 7-10 business days.My house is cold. I informed the secretary that if they cannot fix my glass , I want my full refund of $250.00 and I ended the conversation by hanging up.November 11 - I received the below message from Glassland. so far it s been 30 business days since Glassland came to my house for a job that was promised to be completed in 7-10 business days starting from October 1, 2020Hi Scott,I just wanted to keep you informed.� I just received this email from the manufacturer about your unit.� I cancelled and am using another company to try and get it to you as quick as I can.� I am very sorry about the wait.Thank you,HeatherHelloI just heard from the factory, they are over their capacity and are not able to get me any glass until maybe end of next week or the 24th ,� They have no trucks coming out as soon as we get in I will have out to you but nothing from them this weekSo sorry

absolutely horrible. DO NOT USE. super rude, bad service, and cancelled the window installation last minute without being able to accommodate. We needed a simple window replaced. They never let us know it had arrived, and were VERY difficult to book for the installation. Of course, they were quick to do an estimate and take the deposit. Wouldn't refund us and hung up on me without giving a solution. Now trying to get a refund from my credit card company. STEER CLEAR

Extremely pleased with the professionalism and the precision of the window replacement done in my home! Chris, Jackie and their crew were a delight to work with. Their prices were extremely reasonable and I am delighted to be able to look out of my new windows. Thanks to Glassland, no more condensation!

I had a glass shower door and glass shelves installed in a bathroom and the glass shelves proved to be too heavy for the mounting screws used. The shelves were perilously close to falling. When I contacted Glassland they sent a workman over and he removed one shelf and said the mounting screws were not appropriate for shelves that heavy and that they would get back to me. Well they got back to me alright. After numerous phone calls all they sent was an estimate to properly install the shelves. They were asking for$200 with a 50% deposit to re-install the shelves properly. Really? I highly recommend you do business elsewhere. There are many other places that will stand by their work. Zero stars would be more appropriate for this place.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I had used Chris from Glassland in the past and had no complaints about his quality or service but i used him again last year when I moved to a new house and it just wasnt the same experience. I have had a few issues and every time I call the office i get a runaround. Heather tells me she will let me know when the guys are in my area but never calls me back. I keep following up and she gets annoyed by it. I ask to speak with Chris but he never gets back to me. This last time i called for service Heather said she would get back to me and didnt then i called again and she said they would be here on Monday and call to confirm the time. Well Monday comes and I dont hear from her so I call the office only to be told they are not going to be in my area after all!! REALLY?? and you dont let me know?? I dont understand why I have to wait for you to be in my area am I not important enough to be put on the schedule?? And i have to call you so many times - Horrible service! Then she tells me they will come another day but I wont be here and she gets nasty when i tell her thats not good your supposed to come today and then SHE HANGS UP ON ME!!! Seriously ?? Then i read some of the reviews only to find out that Chris had his license revoked in 2019 ! Too many complaints?? I should have read the reviews! I hope you do and dont use Glassland use someone else instead - youll be better off!!

We have had a great experience with Glassland and have used them for multiple jobs in our home including glass table top and screens for many windows. They do excellent work and are always prepared, on time and efficient. We would definitely recommend this company for all of your glass needs. We are constantly getting compliments on our glass table top for our dining room table. Now our beautiful wood table will never get scratched again. Thanks Glassland!

Very helpful and professional staff. I needed to replace the glass in two double panels windows. Thier price was excellent. Glass came in and was professionally installed in the time frame agreed upon. They stayed in touch and were a pleasure to deal with. Installation went quickly and everything was easy, from estimate to installation, definitely a 5 star experience.Chris the owner was knowledgeable and pleasant. Great place to do busines!Highly recommended.

An Absolute shame!!! I have hired Chris Pirato (Glassland) several times in the past for my clients, However the customer service and taking responsibility for his work quickly spiraled. DO NOT HIRE, His Suffolk County License has been officially revoked as of June 2018. I had to take the company to court to receive a judgment in my favor. I simply do not understand why it has to come to this for a request of refund after a product had two failed attempts for installation. According to Suffolk County Consumer Affairs he is not allowed to operate this business any longer. Cancelled installation of a window on me last second. The person I dealt with offered no explanation for cancelling the day of scheduled install day. When I told him I had taken the day off for this appointment, the clown sarcastically told me that he would pay my salary for the day . What a buffoon. Found a much better repair place and have used them twice since.

My exsperience with Glassland and Chris the owner was not a good one. He made a bathroom screen for me and told me he would not deliver it. Because of the distance. I agreed to pick it up, which I did. It took me an hours drive to get there.I saw the screen had no springs on any ends. I asked the women in the office why it had no springs? She said she didn't know.Chris is the owner and he took the measurements and if I had an problems with it to call up and he will take care of it.I paid for it and I arrived home at 5:30 pm.I put the screen in and it was flapping all around. The wind even blew it right out onto the floor.The next day I called the office I told Jackie the problem. I told her maybe you should give me back my money and I'll mail this back to you because Chris is not going to come here to fix this. She said yes we are in the area next week. I'll have him call you. I never heard from him. I called again another girl said Chris said to bring it in. I'm 69 yrs old with poor vision and vertigo. I did my part. It wasn't made correctly. I was told they are in the area why can't he come and check it out. ?They said they would give him the message.I called again I was told Chris is not going to come here and I need to bring it in and he will not give me back my $32.59.It's sad to see a young man like Chris in business take advantage of a 69 yr old senior that lives on $1,200.00 a month. The $32.59 is alot for me to throw away.I would not do business with a person that has no feelings for people or does not stand by his work. Sincerely, Ms. JoAnn

I have Eurotech windows in my home, purchased by the previous owner, which were in need of repair. I contacted many companies and had no luck because they had never heard of this brand of windows. Then I called Glassland and Chris. He had seen these windows before and was willing to take a look and see if he could help me. Although he was not too familiar with Eurotech he learned how they operate and made the repairs. Chris has a working knowledge of how things work and is a true problem solver. I highly recommend Glassland.

Almost three weeks have past and was just told that I have to wait another week to have the bottom half of my storm window fixed and its matching screen rescreened and a screen-door rescreened and they wanted it all prepaid before any work gets done. I should have gone to Hildreth's Glass instead, I would have had everything installed already. I am not going here anymore, they should refund me all the money back.

We had a horrible experience with this company. Not only did they install the wrong type of glass after we paid an extra $500 for the better glass, the shower enclosure leaks and they refused to correct anything. Choose another company or use this one at your own risk.

Do not ever do business with them. They purchased $4,000 of glass from us, one $300 piece was damaged in transit. They did a credit card charge back for the full $4,000. They also told the CC company they returned the glass but didn't. They also never contacted us before the charge back to try to resolve it.

Not great had to recut the glass a couple times they took wrong measurements had to bring it back do it again etc. Then they had me wait a couple days because the glass cutting guy wasn't there. all for a simple plain tempered glass cut.

Called, they gave fair estimate and came next day and professionally did my installation. Were courteous and pleasant and cleaned up.

Horrible experience. Chris doesn't return phone calls ! Our business spent $1400 on glass shelving. They came in broken and they would not fix them. Extremely unprofessional! Very unhappy with service.
