I've been taking my cars to Brakes Inc since they were by Uncle Guiseppe. They work on cars and trucks. I've had basic diagnostic work, catalytic and muffler work, head gaskets, and I shouldn't forget to mention brakes. They are reliable and honest. Highly recommend.

Awesome.Craig and the guys at Brakes Inc are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Can't say it enough. Wish there were more guys still around like this in all professions. Brakes Inc is Grade A!

Great place! Danny the owner is super accommodating and I trust all these guys very much with my car. Great price for the work you get out of it, quick, effective, and long lasting. Often cheaper than Midas or things like that.

My go to mechanic. They may not be the cheapest but they are definitely one of the best at what they do and most importantly, they are honest. Ive had too many mechanics try to upsell me work that my car clearly didn't need every time I went in for an oil change or inspection.Thankfully this place doesn't do that... And the community seems to agree since they are probably the busiest mechanic around. So don't expect to bring ur car in unannounced and have it back the same day.

These guys are always fast and helpful. They are friendly and reasonably affordable. They've never tried to sell me anything I didn't need and I am honestly going to use them again and again. They also charge a lot less then other mechanics in the area.

My family has been coming here for the better part of a decade. We now have five vehicles and just about all of their work is handled by Brakes Inc. I haven't been a fan of their work for quite some time as the brakes squeak a lot of they're done, I think their prices are a little high, and it usually takes them more time than they estimate. But, my father really likes them as they're usually pretty friendly and that's always very important to him. However, today I dropped him off there to grab a few things from his truck while they work on it. When we arrived, we saw them towing a Type A2 or Type B school bus with his truck! This bus will weigh anywhere between 10,000 and 15,000 pounds when empty. My dad's truck is only rated to tow about 8,500 to 8,700 pounds! And, experts recommend to never tow more than 75% of the maximum towing capacity. What the ****? The guy was caught with his pants down and told my dad he would "deduct a towing fee." They should be out of business! Or, at least investigated by the BBB or something. We're paying you a lot of money to work on our 10+ old vehicle with 160,000 miles on it, not use it to help do your work.

Went ONE TIME... Guaranteed customer for life. I knew (secretly) that I had a specific issue... I pretend to be a dummy to see if I am getting ripped off... very honest, smart COST EFFECTIVE solutions. Really smart, very impressed, been here now 3-4 times, and every time is better than the next. Ask for Danny. Best Mechanic on LI. 100%

Had a wheel Alignment and tires done which wasn t done properly and payed. Had to bring truck to another place same day and have it fixed properly and pay again. The tires on my truck and the truck shook violently because the belts were warped and was told to buy new ones 4 months later. No pride in there work or ethnics to back themselves up.Service: Tires

Brakes inc. Rebuilt my front end on my wj and I am very satisfied with their work which they stand behind. I don't let the name shops take advantage of me as they tried with an estimate of 600 more than my final price. Will continue using brakes inc. for all my future needs.

First time at the shop. Dropped off my mom's car for an inspection. They took care of it without issues. I will be bringing my cars to Brakes Inc. in the future. I will never go back to Mavis Discount Tire. Terrible places to go for repairs...never again.

Ive been a longtime customer. Work is always top notch, doesn't upsell you on the things you don't need. Also has reliable used cars for sale, always been a pleasure to deal with.

Craig and folks have always been solid. I agree they dont upsell, and offer options BEFORE doing the work. I feel comfortable leaving my cars in their hands.
