Owner operated water side place. They sell gas to the boaters and booze to the locals. Best spot for sunset selfies. Pretty sure you can still rent a skiff by the hour. Last stop for bait and tackel before you leave the continental shelf. Good hot dogs and fries. Funny, fries taste better when they are cooked outside.

The best place on long island! Amazing place where all the locals go and they take the time to get to know you! Staff is all friendly and attentive! They offer a ton of services boat and fishing rod rentals, bait, fishing equipment, snack and drinks for sale in the store. There is a clam shack which serves beer, wine, mixed and frozen drinks as well as a small food menu. Food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. Bartenders are fantastic and know most customers by name. They have seating at the bar and a deck with tables over looking the bay. There also is a wonderful beach area with volleyball, cornhole and a fenced in play area for the kids. Overall an amazing place to spend the day with the whole family! Stay for sunset its worth it!!

This place is the best! Get everything you need for a little fishing trip... poles, bait and the boat! Everyone is super friendly, helpful. Boats are related by half day or full, family friendly. Our latest adventure consisted of my husband taking our 3 littles (ages 5, 3 & 2) out in a boat with my father in law. Arrived about 9:30am on a Friday, they open at 7am, there was no wait, a few boats went out while we were there (about 2 hours).We brought our own life vests, however Ted's had them as well. I stayed on shore with the baby, sat at their tables, walked into town for iced coffee. It was a great start to a summer day!! We will definitely be back.

Amazing views and amazing friendly staff. They treat everyone like family. Every summer has been better than the last. Always coming up with fun new things to do. They have volleyball, yoga, a golf tournament, great drinks and great bar food to snack on while hanging out. 15/10

More of a sit in the sand and have a beer review. Don't expect any pampering here, just cold beer, lax environment, and a solid place to watch a few boats go out on a nice day. Good food truck and music once in a while too.

Great time!!! Polite people would've given 5 if we could've anchored but seriously it was a great time and boat was super clean and staff was very helpful I would totally return and recommend

This is my favorite place in the island. You feel like you are in the Caribbean. Ted, the owner is a super good host. I have a place on long beach, anytime I have company I bring them here.

This place is absolutely terrible. The lady who runs the shop and rents the boats is a witch. She screamed at my children to be quiet when they were giggling in the store. She tried to rent me a boat that would have been extremely dangerous to be in. IT had a huge crack in the bottom and the tiny engine barely worked. When I kindly asked if she had another boat she started cursing at me and told me and my 2 children to leave her property immediately. I would definitely not visit this place again and I would strongly advise all not to go there.

Great place for lunch or some drinks on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Boat rentals for fishing. Right near Jones inlet. Don't have to go far for stripers and flukes. Not many places like Ted's left, that's for sure!!

Came here for bait great staff. Great small locally owned shop to rent small boats and purchase bait and tackle. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be using them again when the warm weather comes back around.

If you want paradise this is it. Family owned and operated by the nicest people.Also if you have seen CHEERS this just like all those quaint dive bars people call home is one or those. A home away from home.

Ted's is my favorite place to go in Point Lookout during the summertime. Its super casual and all of the employees are so friendly. They have a store filled with fishing supplies and snacks which is perfect when youre stopping to get gas on the boat.The bartenders make amazing drinks and they have a ton of good food to order. The lobster rolls are unreal. They have a huge beach with adirondack chairs and a volleyball court, plus a ton of picnic tables near the water.If you're in Point Lookout, you have to go see a sunset from Teds.

Great end of summer day... labor day, rented a boat for fishing and had a great day in Reynolds Channel. The staff was nice and polite. And they had all the gear, bait, and supply for me and my family needs

Great place to go fishing.Used to be first come first serve basis and we got there at 7am and its reservation only on the weekend.Please make sure you book a reservation before visit through their website.I dont want people having same experience like us.

Staff is very helpful. They have everything you need. Boats could use minor maintenance but they are still ok. Would definitely go back again.
