First time visiting this location, I love that no appointment is needed and you stay in your car. I just needed a quick oil change and Tim was incredibly helpful in making that happen and efficiently too. I didn't feel any pressure to add on any services other than the air filter after he showed me mine vs. a brand new one. Highly recommend the location if you're in need of quick service.

I drove to the Valvoline that s not too far from work for an oil change on my Acura MDX on 1/25/24. I immediately got greeted by the guy servicing my car, and told to wait behind a car that was getting serviced. The staff there were respectful and professional. Service went as planned and they even checked my tires and filled up my windshield washer fluid without any hesitation. I also needed a rear windshield wiper. He had trouble removing the rear wiper because I mistakenly bought the wrong one and the bracket got stuck. I got out of the car and told (person) to just remove it and I helped him try remove it. While attempting to remove the wiper in a joint effort, the arm snapped. They looked immediately distraught and I ensured them it was ok that I would pay to replace it as it wasn t his fault. He even admitted to his boss Daniel the manager here that he messed up. Daniel came over and had said that they can get a new arm direct from the dealer at no cost to me but there was a wait of 25mins (which I had no problem with at all). While waiting, I noticed the other guys who I assume were new, were being trained and guided by Daniel. Daniel shows great managerial skills and respected the guys there that were learning. Overall makes me feel like they all care and regardless of how busy it got they got it don t no fuss at all. When he came back with the arm and installed it quickly. I insisted on paying for the arm and the wiper but they refused to let me pay for it. These guys are great over here and overall professional. From admitting to a fault to being very respectful and professional at all times. 10/10 would definitely recommend coming here for anything they service. Thank you guys for doing a great job! Keep it up!

I will not go to this valvoline again. After having my oil changed and driving on the highway, my car began making loud scraping noises. I pulled over to find that the technician did not attach one of bolts back underneath the car and the bottom plastic covering was scraping the road as i drove. I drove back to have it addressed and did not feel heard by the manager who was dismissive and did not at all seem alarmed by the error. I will not be returning.

I couldn't do a better job myself! I am glad Valvoline stores are around to take care of my vehicle like a doctor takes care of me. What would I do without my car? I take care of my investment. Thank you Valvoline... the Pleasantville store is wonderful!!!

Skid plates must be the mortal enemy of the guy under the car who drains the oil. I mean it must take a whole extra 60 second to put them back! That must really screw up his efficiency! This is the second time out of 3 that this valvoline did not properly attach the skid plate (which they didn't even have to remove) after an oil change. The first time a year or so ago it came loose and was dragging on the ground on the saw mill. But hey, i decided to give them another chance! Silly me. This time the shift supervisor said "we have to make sure we put the skid plate back" . For some reason they actually loosened it! And lost 2 screws! I had to crawl under my car and try to fix it. I expect more from a $120 oil change. Unbelievable.Service: Oil change

I've been a customer of Valvoline for quite some time now, always choosing to take my car to the one close to my place.Today due my schedule I decided to go to the Pleasantville location and it was a great experience.From the moment I pulled at the service bay, I was greeted with exceptional service by a gentleman named Daniel. Very polite and professional, I felt confident that my car was in good hands. And what was amazing is that Daniel was training a new employee.His passion for his job was evident in every detail. He took the time to patiently and thoroughly explain each step of the process to the trainee, ensuring that they fully understood the importance of doing things correctly. I was truly impressed by his dedication to not only providing excellent service but also creating a learning environment for the next generation of Valvoline professionals.He kept me informed during the entire time and made sure that all my concerns were addressed. It was clear that he genuinely cared about his work and the satisfaction of his customers.The visit exceeded all expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of services and will certainly be returning in the future.

Just had a quick, efficient, and exceedingly pleasant oil and filter change. Was impressed by the professionalism of the interactions between the two mechanics, who were also genuine and friendly and ready to answer all questions. I only caught one of their names (Quintein) but the other was equally as affable and knowledgeable.

I park in the bay and tell them what I want after they get started I look up the current coupon on my phone and apply it at checkout.Same as always, I'll probably always go back.

All of the staff here is so friendly, informative, & efficient. The woman who I believe is the manager here is an absolute gem. They purposely put my oil back in the engine oil tank because I asked for synthetic blend instead of full synthetic and they purposely didn t screw the drain plug back in. I would try to file a claim on their website but I barely had evidence to backup the ghetto service I received.

About the only thing good about this place was that it was quick.I should have known when I saw the mechanic use a huge pair of channel locks to take off the oil filler cap that there was going to be a problem.Or maybe after I was told that they did not have regular 10w30 oil and I would have to buy 5w30 semi synthetic oil.About a week after my oil change, I noticed a smell of oil coming through the ac vents. I thought maybe some oil spilled on the manifold when filling, no big deal.Two weeks later, the smell got worse.Three weeks later I saw oil on the ground and decided to inspect.Upon pulling off the engine top cover, I noticed a missing bolt, the oil fill cap was gouged from use of the pliers. Upon further inspection, the valve coverIs cracked and leaking as a result of the mechanic manhandling the filler and filler neck. As a result, I m now replacing the valve cover, filler neck and 2 qts of oil that leaked out.I also noticed a Purolater oil filter in place while looking at the leak. I thought Valvoline used their own filters? Maybe this didn t even get changed?Anyway, my advice is to go elsewhere. The quick convenient oil change is now going to probably cost me $500. Don t let this happen to you. -As of 7/29/22, I was contacted by the Manager who reviewed my case, inspected the car and submitted to corporate.She then contacted me the following day with an amicable resolution.I have since given a higher rating as mishaps are always a factor in business and they did the right thing.Thanks Nicole!

This is the best place to get an oil change, or any last minute repairs to your vehicle! Fast, efficient and affordable. The staff of mechanics are professional, and only fix what is needed, while giving you recommendations for repairs you may need in the near future. I visited this location spontaneously for help with my tires and I have to say how impressed I was with the service, professionalism and care I received. Paul, at this particular location was so helpful and completely fixed an issue I was having with my tire on my Honda CRV. I could not stop thanking him and I will be back simply due to the careful and professional time he took while working on my vehicle. Thank you Paul! I went for an oil change. But as I sat in my car while they serviced it, I couldn t help but overhear the way the manager spoke to one of the employees, this young lady was very kind to me, didn t pressure me into buying any extra services, very professional and Very informative. I believe her name was Sarah. But I have a very big issue with the way her manager was speaking to her, and after she asked him politely to stop, he went on and on. he was more than disrespectful towards her & very unprofessional. He quite clearly hurt her feelings and he is making a mockery of this establishment. This young lady was very very sweet, and after I gave her a tip for her hard work, I noticed as I pull out, he took the tip from her.... he didn t even touch my car so that right there is abuse of power in my opinion. He should be demoted. I would never believe he was a manager if he wasn t wearing a name tag. If I choose to go back for my next oil change, I expect better from their management team.Service: Oil change

Super fast service, took me 10 minutes total. I was in and out so quickly that when the person brought my dipstick in to show me my new oil level, I thought he was going to tell me there was a problem with my old oil level, but they were just telling me that they were done with my car.I also found a $10 off coupon online, and realized that if I planned 24 hours ahead, I could have gone ok Groupon and gotten the service for about half off.The customer service was also fantastic. Really friendly staff. Would recommend them for a fast, friendly oil change.Also, if you look on Google maps, you can tell how busy they normally are by day and hour of the day. Plan your visit accordingly. Don't just go there on Friday at 5:30pm and expect them to be quick when they have 10 cars ahead of you.

This was an amazing experience. Everyone is so friendly and informative. I was able to pull right in and get service immediately.The manager was involved with every car every step of the way. I have never seen such Teamwork And communication. Despite the negative reviews I had a great experience. They didn't try to sell me any extras. I just got in and got my oil change. I was there for 12 minutes because there was no line. Plus, one of the techs sprayed my door hinge with lubricant because it was squeaking loudly. Great service!

My young daughter went in for a simple oil change today. They told her that she needed to have the factory recommended servicing completed. Cost $193. This car is a little more than a year old and has only 15, 000 miles on it. They took advantage of a young girl and told her she needed unnecessary services for a brand new car. Shame on you Valvoline and shame on you Paul Vaccaro for encouraging your employees to do this to unsuspecting young adults. I will never use your store and I will tell everyone I know of your deceitful ways.

Always fast, always friendly...this is my third time taking our cars here and I have never been disappointed. In and out really quickly, no nonsense. I will not be going anywhere else for my oil changes.

Stay away from this place ! Saff is unsatified it seems cant blame them blame the management! They said they are very much understaff when and one gentleman informed us that they are only 2 persons for 5 cars and it will take 1 and a half hours to service . Then I decided to go to the elmsford branch those guys are fast took 13 minuets and the job is done ! It s the second time I am going this place the result was same then they said they don t have oil for my type car . I guess they don t know how to change full syn oil for rangerover valer!

If you're reading this, go somewhere else and stay far away from these incompetent clowns (Mt. Kisco location would be my recommendation). Shortly after getting my oil changed, I realized my car was badly leaking oil, which was never a problem before. I immediately took it to my mechanic who looked at it and knew my oil was recently changed (without me saying so). He informed me that the person who performed my oil change did not place back a rubber seal that goes between the oil filter and base of the car. Because of the gap, the oil was gushing out rapidly. He said I was lucky that I didn't blow my engine, which he said is normally the case over time. This botched oil change is the epitome of negligence. If you can't employ workers that can do something as simple as draining oil and replacing a filter, then you shouldn't be in business...

Fast, friendly service. Exactly what you want in an oil change place. Hands down better than the White Plains location where it's a minimum of a 45 min process even when you're next in line.

Left car for an oil and filter change then went next door for a quick bite. Had to leave cell number. Within 5 minutes they called to say my brake light was out ($75) my cabin air filter was filthy (they had to completely dismantle my glove box to find that out which of course was not even touched and it was changed about 2 weeks ago by me), and my transmission oil smelled burned. I said just the oil please. Got home to discover no light was burned out by the way. SHAME!

Fast convenient oil change. Make sure you are there for what you need only and not the added services they ask of you (they will say that your car may this or that; check your owners manual first). Look for discount coupons online to save money.
