I came in needing to have my rim replaced and received the absolute best service. The staff was very kind and transparent about each of the services I would need along with the price. They called me with updates about my car and even applied as many eligible coupons as possible to help with the overall cost. I completely trust them with my vehicle and will definitely go back if I have any other troubles. Thank you!

Mavis Pleasantville is my go to place. The service is amazing as well as the staff. (I don t remember the names of the staff that day, but it was 03/20/24). I brought my car in and they serviced it quickly. I had additional questions and they and took the time out to explain the answers. I ll definitely be back again.

Joseph & Vincenzo are awesome - polite, professional, they know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. Always been thrilled with their work (oil changes, inspections, brakes, etc), and getting me new tires for reasonable prices when needed (so many options at different price points). They do the alignment as well. Lastly, it s nice that the car is generally ready well before the time promised.

This location is very good. All staff were exceptional and all work I ve done at this location is done so in a timely manner. Assistant managers Steve and Chris in particular were extremely helpfully and provided exceptional customer service. Definitely will be my go to shop.

Bottom line: absolutely, 1000% do not go here - they will massively overcharge you, sometimes not even do the work they said they would do while still charging you for it, and overall will rip you off with a polite and friendly smile on their face. Every couple of years I am taken in by the convenience of the location and go in for something innocuous, and every time I leave angry at myself for giving them another chance. The latest was a NY state safety inspection and oil change. Simple things, how could they possibly overcharge me or mess things up? Well, they failed me on the inspection, saying that the wipers needed replacing. Ok, how much for the wipers? $80. Wow, that's steep, given that I can get wiper blades for $12, but there are three wiper blades, so $36 vs $80, that's more than a 2x markup. Actually, no. They were going to charge me $80 PER WIPER BLADE. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME $240 TO CHANGE THREE WIPER BLADES. "That's just what they cost," they tried telling me to my face. It just boggles the mind - are *you* willing to pay $240 for three wiper blades? Oh, and the oil change - they charged me $85 for an oil change "after a $10 discount". Right, thanks for the discount. That's high, even for synthetic oil, but I would have just let it go except THAT PRICE DIDN'T INCLUDE THE FILTER OR LABOR. That's right, for a simple oil change, they charged me more than $100. Where have you ever gone where an oil change for a regular passenger car cost more than $100? Are they insane? Do they regularly deal with people who have so much money they don't care about dropping $400 on a NY inspection, wiper blades, and an oil change? Are you one of those people?I honestly cannot comprehend that they have such a high review average on this site. Do a search and look for reviews on other review sites and you will see that their average here is complete baloney. You will also get to read of my and everyone else's actual experiences, which include not actually doing the inspection that I paid for and getting charged up the wazoo for everything under the sun. Really, the convenience is not worth it. There's a reason they have appointments open all the time unlike the other shops in the area. Don't make the mistakes I did giving them more chances - they will disappoint and enrage you each and every time while pretending to be politely confused at your astonishment over $240 for windshield wipers and more than $100 for a simple oil change.

I came in today for a oil change. I've never been taken care of so quickly at any other auto shops. Had oil change a d tires rotated in about 15 mins. Very impressive. And the staff is pleasant! Thank you!Mayra

Whats the point . I had a 11am appointment for a oil change . He asked me if I was leaving the car or wait I asked him how long and he replied about 30 or 40 minsAfter waiting 40 mins my car wasn t in the garage yet and ask how long he told me about another hour Since i live 5 mins away asked him if he could give me a call when they are about done he said no problem but he never called when I decided to call back at 2pm the manager didn t really care about how frustrated I was at this point He said I should have waited and that they don t call customer to come when they have a life readyWe should find away to help customers better

All the employees were pleasant, professional very nice when I walked in. Ready to assist. I was scheduled this morning for appointment after work 4:30pm and was accessed quickly for my NY State Inspection. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I will definitely return for more services and recommend others. You guys were all great! Thank you

Do NOT go here. They steal your information to obtain benefits... I used this location and prebooked with a deposit online - therefore my information is in their computer. Fast forward a few months and I got mail to my address from Mavis HQ to TWO separate employees. Two is not a mistake, rather someone clearly is going in the computer to unlawfully use customer's information. I visited this location in-person to ask them to speak to the employees about it. The white guy with salt and pepper hair and beard was nasty and tried blaming me for doing something wrong by opening their mail (it's to my address. You can open mail with your information to prevent identity theft). I understand shielding the employees, but to get nasty and loud is not the right way. So unfortunately due to his actions and not ending the issue, instead I am writing this review and just left the police station to get ahead of any further unlawful use.

Enjoyed my experience at Mavis discount tire! I stopped by in the morning when they first opened and was able to be seen and have my tire repaired within 30 minutes. Awesome customer service and were able to provide a great discount. Would definitely recommend for your tire needs!!

Not happy with this place at all. Brought my car in for inspection. While there they damaged my head light covers. The car failed part of the inspection so I had to work on it before going back. After taking car back went to pop hood and saw both headlight covers were broke. I called the shop and questions if they had video and could check to see what happen.They said they did have video but need regional manager to check. No issue 2 weeks later no call I followed up.They tried to say that the part was incorrectly installed and they could see one side was broke when car came in. I said fine show me that pic or video and I will eat cost as cover is sold in pairs.Then they said you cant see it on video and they refused to send or show me video.When speaking to the manager he said he took picture of the cover.(Why would you take pictures of it if you didnt break it )and could see it was installed wrong. They admitted breaking one side. I know the broke both and unless I would have said something they would have not notifed me this even occured as I left and they said nothing the first time. The manager V admitted he knew they broke one side.I get things happen and I get people make mistakes. 100% on them to notify thier customers and respond timely when something does go wrong.They didnt in both cases here.No notification no apology. Honeslt part iant that expensive its the that they tried to just get away with and didnt take ownership that bothers me. I suggest you take pics of your car before coming here and check at pick up.

The pleasantville mavis staff is so courteous and helpful! I called ahead to see if i could come in for a NYS inspection and they were able to squeeze me in and get my car inspected in less than an hour! Everyone I interacted with was so pleasant- will definitely be coming to this location for all my service needs!

I was on my way home to work in CT on a cloudy/rainy day, and noticed that the low tire pressure indicator light was on. Upon stopping at a nearby gas station, I saw that there was a nail stuck in it. I told Siri to find the nearest tire shop, and found Mavis Discount Tire. I walked in, told Vincenzo and his team what the issue was, and they got me patched up and ready to go in less than 20 minutes! I even told them to check the other tires on the car to make sure they didn t have anything stuck in them as well, since I had a long trip ahead of me. Great guys! Quick! Quality work! and most importantly, got my car back on it s feet! Would recommend!

Was driving from Boston and noticed the car wasn t driving easily and the tire light was on.Joseph was great. He showed me the gauge that told the story my treads had worn down too much. He was able to install new tires and alight them all on a Sunday.Thank you, Joseph!
