I've been taking my car to Plainview Auto for almost 15 years and they've always been honest about the work needed to be done, give a fair price, and complete the job quickly.I had my oil changed the other day and because of the miles on the car they also gave it a thorough examination.

pay attention, this shop is very terrible. I got my car scratched and dented during a service and the owner never acknowledged the fault. I showed him the car images prior to the service that day and he still shamelessly denied the claim. I would never go to that shop again. such a shameful owner!

FINALLY!! An honest Auto shop!!As a woman walking into an Auto Care shop, i always wonder if i'll be given honest repair information...but with Jason (the owner), you NEVER have to worry about that concern. He has given me honest guidance when i do & DON'T need service.That honesty is "PRICELESS"...You can definitely trust him with your car!!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

The attitude of these people is ridiculous. They are extremely rude for no reason and act like they re doing you a favor just by talking to you.They were actually a good shop until the shop across the street shut down. Now that they have a monopoly they couldn t care any less about their customers. Would not recommend unless you want rude people to overcharge you for basic services.

So it appears I m the one star minority which means people are happy with the services they provide. Great! I m new in the area and I was looking for an estimate to do a good number of maintenance things to my car. I went to the shop twice and both times was promised a phone call because the guy behind the counter didn t have time to help me. Ok but He never called. I brought my commuter car to a station right down the road. A thousand bucks later I was happy with it (fair price, checked with family members in the business). I have three cars. This shop has so many customers so I know I won t be missed. Cheers!

My family and I have brought our cars here for service and repair for going on 10 years. Jason and or Brian have always clearly explained any issues and the team has performed the work flawlessly and quickly when necessary. I say when necessary because more than once I have brought a vehicle to them with a warning light or minor problem and they fix it without a charge. Every invoice I have received is transparent and reasonable. I would recommend this business to anyone, but especially those who fear they know too little and are worried they could be scammed. I am so grateful to all of the wonderful people at Plainview Auto Care! Let me start by saying that I have never seen such professionalism at a service station before. Like most people, I have anxiety about taking my car anywhere for service but these guys treat you like you are family. The service I receive is outstanding! They always give me a diagnosis before they start working and I know exactly what it's going to cost so there are no surprises. I feel their prices are extremely reasonable and my car has been running great since I have been taking it to this place. They always do quality work and I get my car back to me quickly which I have not experienced before in other places. In fact, I felt like my car was held hostage at other shops (sometimes for more than a week for simple repairs!) and got the run-around from some mechanics. Once the work is completed at Plainview Auto Care , I always get a call & a text to let me know my car is ready! I really love these guys! I have recommended this place to everyone I know! Thanks so much guys!

Wow thank you Jason for helping a "lady in distress". I'm not familiar with the area I found them on Google and was I lucky. I had a nail in my tire I called they told me to come over and it was fixed promptly! Definitely a pleasure in dealing with them. Highly professional!

Every time i go to Plainview Auto, i am NEVER disappointed. They are quick, helpful and resolve any car issue that i had. The workers are awesome and friendly and i can tell, that they are caring and enjoy their work, especially Nash. Jason is ALWAYS attentive and supportive. i feel so lucky and fortunate to finally have found a mechanic and an auto shop that helps me and does not try to rip me off or only care about making a buck. I almost want to write a bad review so less people go here but won't do it. I try to get all my car work done here but they are very busy so I highly recommend calling a head of time to book an appointment. Their services are really good and most importantly they have been extremely honest. There was multiple times I went there thinking it was a major issue or they would upsell me but instead they tell me the honest quick issues. I also recommend getting the tires here if you get oil replacements here since they will typically change your tires every time you visit. Highly recommend this place.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Plainview auto is by far the best car repair shop I have ever been to.From major to minor jobs, they do it all. Pricing is very fair and they never sell you things you don t need. They are honest and reliable. Brian and Jason go above and beyond to make sure your happy! Plainview auto is by far the best auto mechanic I have ever been to! Im no expert but I am very familiar with cars since I've owned so many! Jason and Brian run a great shop! Your WILL NOT find a more honest repair shop! They have a great reputation and there is a reason why! Prices are very fair and these guys are so humble and nice! They really value their customers! I am a person who doesn t write reviews but I NEED to write a review for this place. This place is absolutely GREAT! I would give them 10 stars if possible. I got a flat tire and they fixed it for me with true honesty. I have been using a different auto shop before but I noticed that I had been charged way more than necessary. Plainview Auto Care is definitely going to be my primary auto shop from now on. Highly recommend auto shop for sure.

Hello I am happy to review this service garage...my husband discovered this station10 years ago and have been using them ever since. They take you at the appointed time and the wait is never long. They tell you when your car will be ready ! They are efficient and know what they are doing. We have never been misled.

Called asking for a quote and they told me to go somewhere else because they refuse to offer a quote. I already know the issue and I've been to other places to confirm and all the other places offered free diagnostics and a quote upfront. The guy on the phone was SUPER unprofessional and basically told me to screw off. I would recommend staying FAR far away from this place. I'd rather drive 20+ miles to the city to get my car fixed.

I would give more starts if it was possible! I took my car, they showed me what was wrong, fixed my doors that were bent (biggest headache) without charging meFor it , the price was great (radiator job), service was fast, car is in perfect shape!The couch in which I was waiting was extra comfortable and the area was super cleaned!Every other place I ve gone to fix my car they are so dirty!Other detail that made me feel very comfortable was the fact that there was a little girl hanging around there on the Saturday I went! As a woman it felt much more comfortable just to be there!Definitely they are my first option when I need anything with my car!

They are my regular guys who take care of my car. They do great work and are reasonably priced. Only negative is that they do not take you back to your house while waiting to get the work done. So you have to get back and forth on your own. Before COVID, they had a waiting room. That is no longer available

I've been to tons of auto shops, in different states...my entire life I have hated mechanics because in my experience they were theives...my car would be perfectly fine and I would leave and all of a sudden the next day my car would have some strange unforeseen issue. This is the FIRST and ONLY place I have ever not had this issue. I truly believe they are honest & fair and actually care about getting the job done right and not causing additional issues in the process. I am beyond grateful for finding them. Seriously.

Have gone to Plainview Auto Care for years. They absolutely will not do a repair that your car does not need. They will advise you to save your money instead. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I recommend them highly.

Plainview Auto Care is a friendly neighborhood shop. We have used them for inspections and minor car repairs. They have always been fair and trustworthy. We went to them a couple times for one of our cars thinking that there may be some major work done. Both times they explained that the problem was minor and fixed the low cost issues. Other shops might have tried to "up sell" the issue... they did not.Then, just today, I had a low tire pressure indication on my dash board. I stopped in to ask if they had an air hose I can borrow to fill my tire. The response was "that's ok, let me get a gauge and I'll check all 4 and fill them to the proper pressure"... When I went to try and offer a payment, he declined and said it was OK and enjoy my day... I'd say, that is an honorable local establishment!

I had a flat tire, and they quickly (without an appointment) patched the tire with rubber. It was only $15. I've asked them to fill my tires a few times, which was free. I was very impressed with the quick, courteous service.

Excellent swift service! Brian and his staff are very knowledgeable and always helpful! Whether you have a low tire or serious situation, they help you quickly and reasonably priced. The only auto shop I would trust.

Dropped my car off here because it wouldn't start without jump and needed an inspection. Later in the day they called and told me I needed brakes both front and back. I agreed because I could feel the brakes were in bad shape. They said they couldn't find a reason for the car not starting and charged me for a diagnostic test. Two days later on a Sunday my car is stuck in a diner parking lot not starting.I would call them back for the tow and service except that they smashed me over the head on labor for the original bake job and I can't imagine what a more involved job would run me.Very frustrating.Update to 1 star. 9 months later brakes need to be redone bc the front end started to lock up and need to be redone. What a huge waste of money.

Quick tire repair done for 20 bucks. Took 15 minutes at most. In an out and they were pretty straight forward. Was in a hurry too and they took care of me.

Freindly staff, explain everything. Great work. Ive been going here for over 15 years now- personal and business vehicles. It's great to have a place you can trust to leave your vehicle.
