Outstanding service by Ray and the team at Phelps Service Center. We were stranded just off the Thruway exit in Phelps and had our Tahoe towed to the Service Center on the day before Thanksgiving. As we were on our way to Philadelphia, we decided to rent another vehicle and hopefully pick up our car on our return the following Monday. Ray and the team had our issue diagnosed before we left the service center and fit us in to have the repair complete later that evening. Service beyond our hope and expectations! Great service and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Called while stranded - owner was kind, considerate, and ordered parts for my vehicle in anticipation of me possibly getting service there. While I ultimately ended up with another business, Phelps called to check on my safety. Top notch customer service in my view.

Exceptional, fast and friendly service at a very competitive price. I took my 2007 Jeep Wrangler to Phelps Service Center for new ball joints and an alignment and was extremely impressed by the skilled technicians, the quality parts they use and how quickly they got my Jeep repaired and back on the road. Having frequented numerous repair facilities in the past I can see that Phelps Service Center is easily a cut above the rest as they offer the greatest value and the most skilled and competent technicians in the industry. I will be returning to them with all of my future automotive needs as a highly satisfied customer and recommend Phelps Service Center to all.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment

On our way to NYC to pickup family due to airline connections cancelled to Rochester for a blizzard in Feb 2021, our metal shielding on our Honda fell off on the interstate grinding against the road, we managed to get off the Phelps exit where they were kind on the phone saying get off the road we will help you and come get you if needed. Our insurance plan said it be hours for any tow truck. We slowly carefully made our way over to their center and they immediately took care of us on the house for safety after hearing our story. Checked our air pressure of tires and bolted are shielding back up to keep us safe while we warmed up with coffee in their lobby. Thank you guys are the real heroes in our adventure! Once a raider always a raider!

If I could give them 6 stars I would! You can't go wrong taking your vehicle to Phelps Service Center. Fast, professional, reasonably priced with very friendly owners and employees. They get it done right the first time. They take the time to explain what is needed and what can wait, and what it will cost with no BS. They will continue to get my business.

Excellent service! The shop is clean and welcoming and the customer service is great. I brought my car to a different shop last week and was told I needed new pads and rotors. I came to Phelps Service Center to have that done and they checked the brakes and brought me one of my pads just to show me that they weren t worn and didn t need replacing. They cleaned them up and saved me $300! These guys are professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Steven Doyle and Ray Hogenes are always looking out for the customers best interest. They perform excellent service and repair work.They listen to customer concerns and address these concerns accordingly. I have been a loyal customer for well over 20 years and appreciate their attention to detail.My current truck has 150,000 miles and after a recent tune up is running like new.

I was driving from Chicago to Maine and my service light came on while I was on the Thruway. I did a search for a service station near me and was directed to Phelps Service Center. Stephen and his staff could not have been better! They hooked up my car to their computer to see what the issue was and told me that I was OK to keep driving and was not going to be stranded nor would continuing to drive be harmful to my Honda Odyssey. I was able to get to Maine and then had the car worked on up there so that I could safely return to Chicago. Thank you!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Steve Doyle (owner) and Ray Hogenes (shop foreman) run the best auto mechanic shop in the area. I have taken are cars and my kids to them for several years. They always do a great job. If they fid something more wrong they always call to tell what they found before doing the work to see if it is ok. They get you in very quickly like yesterday the car that I don't drive much the inspection had run out I called around 2:00 pm and it's at the shop today. Great service. A large, modern auto repair center that services all makes and model, with state of the art diagnostic tools and genuine NAPA parts and Cooper Tires. Stephen Doyle, owner and manager, leads a team of skilled and experienced mechanics and technicians to provide too notch service. Phelps Service Center has all the best attributes of the large dealerships, while staying true to their home town small business, knowing most of their customers by name. They are also a NYS Inspection station. So, for the best automotive service, try Phelps Service Center for all of your automotive needs
