I brought my 12 year old car to Duffy s because of the great reputation I keep hearing about. Sue & Ed were wonderful as well as the other mechanics there. He checked everything and gave me a timeframe for what may need to be looked at in the future. Very trustworthy which is hard to find. We have brought our cars to Duffy's for many years, and our experiences with them have always been extremely positive. They are honest, expert mechanics, and as an added bonus Sue and Ed are wonderful people to interact with. I couldn't give a stronger recommendation, they are the best.

Duffy's is a family-owned auto repair shop in Penfield, NY. They have been taking car of all my cars for over a decade, and we wouldn't consider another shop. The owners and employees are exceptional and the rates are always good. I would highly recommend Duffy's for anyone looking for an auto repair shop.

We had a flat tire at the start of the busy Thanksgiving Holiday travel week, a time when this family-owned and oriented service garage is scheduled to be closed as part of the week's celebration. Needless to say, their bays were backed up with work. However, they were not only able to get us an exact matching tire at a very good price, but put it on the car in under 24 hours. Much appreciated service from the "young couple" that owns this place.

I highly recommend this place. My normal car guy went in for surgery and is out of commission for the next few months so I wanted to try Duffy's as it is right by my home. Could not be more satisfied. If you want a small town car shop feel, honest owners, friendly service, and very quick service at that, go here

Friendly enough folks, but a long story short.... i don't trust this shop. Go to Advent Automotive for honest dealings and good pricing. They're my normal repair shop but an "emergency" forced me to use Duffy's in a pinch. Would certainly not have chosen to go there.

I had to call twice to obtain a price quote. The third time I called I scheduled the work to be done. Knowing the parts had to be ordered I called 3 weeks in advance and told him what parts I needed. After dropping off my car I receive a phone call telling me that my car could not be repaired because the main part I needed was never ordered. The mechanic denies I ever told him I needed that part. He only admitted it was his mistake to pacify me. Instead of apologizing and offering to make restitution, he rudely told me he could not fix the car today because the part takes 3 days to come in. Will not recommend or use them in the future.

As it turns out, this is where I bring my cars to correct the repairs I had done elsewhere. Extremely fast service, they show you the broken part while demonstrating why it's failing, and are completely transparent regarding repair options. A superior service.

My daughter went to go get an inspection sticker and they they told her that it needed brakes and I cannot leave the garage until it's fixed they told I fixed it for under $100 in parts and if it only took me an hour the job should only been about 200 to 250 I called other Auto Part places or automotive places
