They have done stellar work. I was I. An out in a short time. They were able to custom cut a pipe for me. Had it good to go in under 24 hours with short notice. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Why 1 start.. here is whyAfter getting an outrageous estimate for the job, I decided to obviously shop around, like everyone should do. Especially when the price doesn't make sense. I understand that a profit has to be made to Jesus. So I went to another place where I was giving options that i hadn't received before. I end up paying half of the estimate for the same exact job. Including all the parts needed.(Oh yeah, before coming to this place, I called in advance and asked if they do the job, and I was told yeah as long as im willing to pay the price.. so I guess im not willing to pay for over charges) Be aware and get a few quotes before coming here..

This shop is great, definitely straight forward and honest. Dont expect John the owner to act like an airline stewardess, he is gruff, but as i said Honest. I had them check a few things and they didnt upsell or try to charge for anything i didnt need. I love some of the reviews when John the owner tries to be straight with some of these guys and they get bent out of shape. 1. The beer analogy is correct, every and all mechanics will charge more for a part than if you buy it yourself online, etc. but not all mechanics will put in vehicle parts that you provide, so check ahead if thats what your looking for. 2. Anybody with any common sense will know its better to have a honest straight answer from an experienced professional than have a shop kiss your butt and take you for hundreds if not thousands extra.

Very honest, fix what is needed at lowest cost to car owner. Does good job. Will fix any problems with repair even after time. Know shop & owner for over 10 years and my cars repaired there many times in past.

I needed a small repair, but it required a length of custom bent exhaust pipe. The owner was not very friendly, but said he could do it that day, so I hoped for the best. I'm glad I went there. They did a beautiful job. Perfect welds, and at a great price. I will definitely go back and recommend it to friends. U don't need to be friendly if your work is that good.

Fixed a completely cracked muffler maintaining the bulk of it. Others said it couldn't be done or would costs 10x as much as what JC charged. Car is running great. We're quite happy.

Brake lines went on my parents car. In town from Toronto and needed to get home safe. These guys were efficient, stayed a bit late to get the job done, and charged a fair price. Many thanks to these guys.

Awful experience. Needed a downstream 02 sensor installed. They run about 30-40$ max. I was charged $180.00 for the part. When confronted, the owner replies think of it like a beer, you can buy one for 1$ but you go to a bar and get charged 6$. Complete scammers. Can t recommend JC Muffler enough! We came in with a brake issue. The owner is a super nice guy and really went the extra mile to make sure that the cost of repair was covered by warranty. We were in and out with a fixed car in less than 2 hours, even though the shop was busy

Had a problem with an exhaust leak. Was in the worst time as I leave to go back to school in two days. I brought it in to John and it was an amazing experience. John (the owner) is such a nice guy. He had my car looked at and fixed within 45 minutes. Cannot recommend him enough. Will definitely be using him for all of my car needs in the future.

Owner has a horrible attitude. Came in asking for a repair, he takes a look at my car and says No I don t want to do it with an attitude. I get it if he didn t want to provide service for me but he didn t have to be mean and nasty about it. His workers were nice though and helpful. They recommended me to another place on Washington street.

Please do not go here. The second I walk in there and ask nicely if I can get muffler deletes, the owner snaps at me telling me it's not legal and he'll be fined if he does it and he can't do it with a serious attitude as, I don't know what hit him in the head, rude old man wants no business so I went down the street and got it done do not come here...

John the owner has been in business here for over 25 years. He is the go to shop for brakes, exhaust systems, shocks, struts, oil changes and general repair.
