I recently blew out a tire on my Audi by hitting a HUGE pothole on the Taconic Parkway and American Cycle and Tire came to the rescue. They quickly replaced the damaged tire, and rotated the other tires to best match the tread depth front and back. I was in and out in 30 minutes and I was treated respectfully and courteously. This place is TOP NOTCH and I will be recommending them to EVERYONE!!!

I have been using American Cycle for every automotive need I have, including advice on purchases, everything. My personal experience is over multiple cars throughout my whole family and I have spread the word the best I could to my whole neighborhood and beyond because people deserve to spend their money on good, fair service. Dave is a "car guy" and treats every service like it is for his own kids

I recently had a fantastic experience at American Cycle and Tire. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Went in for state inspection, oil change, and fix a flat. They efficiently addressed my car and tire needs, ensuring everything was in top-notch condition. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to for a trusted and worthy place for their car. I had nothing else to say but thank you to this place. I'm definitely coming back for my next car necesity.

Honest is the first thing I think about when I recommend this place to anyone.The owner, after seeing what was wrong with my car told me to bring it to the dealer and say 3 specific things. He explained that the issue was covered under warranty. If they did not cover it, he would be happy to fix it for me for $800. Needless to say, The dealership warrantied the issue and he saved me $800.I bring my work trucks, and my personal cars here. Sometimes it s busy and they re overwhelmed, but I feel like that s because they re good at what they do and people trust American. I wouldn t go anywhere else.I recommend them for good work, and fair pricing always.

This is my favorite tire shop. Fair prices and quick service. The people that work there are honest and all have a great vibe and excellent personalities. This will be my new shop I go too from now on even though I have to travel a bit to get there.

Dave and Robin are the best!!! Extremely honest and fair. My family has been buying tires exclusively from them for 20+ years. Never had an issue, prices are extremely reasonable, and service is 2nd to none. Highly recommend!!!

The only place I go for tires and you should too. I had all four tires replaced on Ford F350 super duty including alignment and other related issues resolved at an exceptional value. I am, and always have been happy doing business here.

I live right up the block. Not even a minute walk away. Been having trouble last month with my front right tire randomly loosing air. Checked for a puncture myself at one point, but couldn't find one.Finally, after not driving for few days, I walk out to a near full flat. I get to Mavis (Cortlandt) because they have a free air pump props for that. And just filling my tire, a random worker comes up to me. They tell me I need to replace *two* tires.Now I *already* have 4 extra tires at home, ain't no way I'm buying new ones right then and there. So I air up my flat, go home, and load my car with 2 of my tires, ready to drive back to Mavis the next day.Next day comes and same tire goes flat again. This time, I don't risk driving 2 miles in the rain. I do what I should've done the first time: Go to American Cycle.Turns out I didn't need *either* tire changed. There was just a nail in the front one. American Cycle fixed it for )15 dollars flat! It took them 20 minutes to do a the hour before they closed (3pm) on Saturday, when I had just pulled up unannounced.Anyway, I appreciate that. Had to go to NYC Sunday. Thanks American Cycle.

Absolutely love this place. Got a really good deal on four tires for my GMC Acadia. And when my tire got a metal piece in the tire they fixed it right away. They are always accommodating. And very busy, which means to me that there are many other people that think the same thing as I do. Awesome business

Awesome awesome awesome!!! I've been dealing exclusively with Dave, as well as my family, for all our tire needs for about 25 years. His shop is impeccable, prices are super fair, and service is excellent. Highly recommend!!!

Definitely the most obnoxious and least professional place I've ever been to. The office was closed because of Covid (maybe you should post that) so you had to stand in a closed off area with no place to sit or hang your coat. I decided to wait outside on the sidewalk but one of the employees or owners almost ran me over with his truck and beeped at me to get out of the way on a public sidewalk. I can't even imagine the sense of entitlement and lack of customer care that would make someone think that that's ok. I left and will never go back. I own a business and would never treat my customers that way. This business should not exist but I guess they will because cars aways need work.

Dave and his staff can handle any tire need and have maintained a safe and welcoming environment. They always do their best to get the right product and at a good price, and are personable in doing that!

I cant even express enough thanks to this business and the people who sent me here. I was getting run around from a few local shops who were trying to sell me things I didn't even need. They are honest, took me in the day of, and super nice! Also they have a lot of really cool rock and roll memorabilia hanging up. This will be my mechanic from now on. Thanks again for helping a damsel in distress!

These guys are amazing. Very very good, and compassionate. My truck was breaking down and no one could figure out what was going on, these guys figured it out and fixed it, for an extremely reasonable price!!! Recommend them to anyone who will listen, they re great!! Seems like Dave and his brother are the only honest mechanics around!!!

The only place I trust with my car! Not only do they have competitive pricing, the staff are top of the line. Dave not only patiently anwsers all my questions, he is honest (even when he knows I won't be coming in due to a current warranty). I've never had a better mechanic, my car always runs smoothly and I never leave feeling like I got scammed. I highly recommend Peekskill AmericanhAmerican Cycle!!

This used to be the "GO TO" place for tires for years. The guy Dave that runs this shop now acts like a complete jerk and I say that without reservation. He talks down to customers and makes you wait outside in the elements while your car is being serviced even though there aren't any mask or spacing mandates. Guy acts scared and changes the prices on tires at will. American greed.

American Cycle is the best in NY, they treat customers fairly, and they are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Dave and Robin really are the best and I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else! Been going for over a decade and will most likely keep going as long as it is open for business!

I've gotten repair work, inspections, and tires from American Cycle. The quality of work is excellent. The prices are as good as you will find, and the customer service is great. I've never been disappointed. Dave is a really good guy!

Thank you for taking care of our cars for over 30 years right here in Peekskill. Dave has always saved us money on all our cars and tires. Today he saved our lives by fixing our car correctly and making it safe for our grandchildren to drive. His prices are fair and he is honest with his customers. A great place to purchase tires and have your car fixed. THANK YOU.

My car broke down on a Saturday night (of course). Upon recommendation from a friend, I had it towed to American Cycle. I called the store on Modnay morning, and the owner Dave was amazing!! The car was taken in, checked and fixed by the end of the day! It doesn't get any better than that. He was honest, and the price was very fair. This will be my go-to mechanic and I can't recommend them enough.

Just want to say how pleased I have been with my dealings with American Cycle. Always great service. Efficient, knowledgeable mechanics. Everyone is friendly and never too busy to answer questions. Definitely an asset to the Peekskill community.

Dave is a great knowledgeable guy. I thought my van was garbage after it broke down, called Dave and he was great, had it towed in and diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in a day. Customer for life.Thank You American Cycle

My family and I have been using Dave for over 30 yrs..always honest, dependable and professional. From oil change to tires to mechanical services Dave at American tire and cycle are amazing!!!
