I don't know how these people get 5 stars and comments like " fast or professional service" I tried to get tires mounted and they told me to wait a week. I provided my own tires just put them on the rims a 1 week wait. I can only imagine how much time they would need to repair engine or transmission. Probably a year or two. That place is a fraud. If someone thinks that you have to wait a week or two to mount a tire they must be delusional.

I own a 2008 Chevy Impala and it broke down in Macedon and thank God for a lady police officer. She called Ron and he came and picked up my car, took it to the shop and fixed a broken gas line didn.t charge me anything, Thank you Ron, plus he did a ny inspection, I will always bring my car to you for service

The owner, Ron and his wife always greet everyone. They are very efficient and friendly. They actually care about their customers. Always honest with reasonable prices. Happy to know them.

What a great family-run business this is. I love when I am able to support that type of thing. I read through the other reviews and they are spot on. Ronnie is an a+ mechanic. They are always very friendly when you go there. Price can't be beat. And the best part is you will only be charged for what actually needs fixed. I have seen Ronnie correctly diagnose a transmission problem simply by listening to it. He is a talented guy and is always keeping an eye on his operations.

This place is always busy, that saids it all right there. Great honest hard working people. Extremely knowledgeable owner. I haven't seen Ronnie be wrong about anything yet. Brutally honest and Reasonably priced and he will fix almost anything. Not out to get you at all just out to earn an honest living. I would recommend this place to everyone. He seems grumpy in the beginning but I promise you he's not. He fixed a couple of my issues for free because they were extremely simple when other shops tried to charge me just to look at it. I can't explain how much I appreciate this place and I will always go back.

The only shop we use and trust. Ronnie and Mary Beth always treat us very fair and have never left us hanging. called them and they were able to immediately tell that the people that did our our oil two days ago didn't reset the change the oil notifier thing. I actually have no idea how cars work... but these guys fixed our issue really fast.

Bought an RV, Ford E350 chassis and few places have a lift big enough to service it. Ron rebuilt the front brakes and adjusted steering controls. He is not happy until the cutover is satisficed. He does great work and the bill is fair and very reasonable. Thanks!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

My family and I have been taking our cars here since before I could drive. Everyone is great and super friendly. Best prices I ve ever gotten quoted for and they can usually get my car in and fixed a couple days after I call. I wouldn t trust anyone else.

Great guys. Told me my car had a blown motor. I didnt believe him but computers hardly lie lmao.. And didnt charge me anything. He felt bad more than I did. Ronnie is a great guy. Highly recommend this place

Family run business. Fair pricing, decent turnaround time. And love the friendly family dog! And perfect amount of clutter and junk in the reception area. Never trust a mechanic with a spotless reception area.

Honesty the old-fashioned way. Great service with explanation as to what needs to be/has been done. Macedon Auto sees to it that you are satisfied with the job they did. All of this at a fair price too!

I called late in the day for a NYS inspection. They had me in and out in less than 30 mins from the time of my call! Very nice people, and had an adorable cat that kept me company while I waited

I drove up from Florida and blew a spark plug out of my truck, meaning It had to be rethreaded, not a simple job at a normal service station..I called over 30 shops on Friday and Sat. over thanksgiving weekend noone was able to see me until tuesday or wed...I really needed to leave Sat. or Sunday at the latest...I called Ron at Macedon Auto and explained my problem...He was in the middle of a transmission on a Sat. morning and he said bring it in, he took pity on my situation being out of town and needing to get back on the road, I have truck towed to shop, Ron repairs within the hour, and Im on the road...He was several hundred dollars cheaper than ALL estimates...He is a great human being who got me out of a terrible jam....And wow what a shop....This is a real garage..work was going on everywhere...I will not forget this...Thank you Ron and all from Macedon Auto Center....My only regret is you guys aren't in Florida lol...Highly recommend to everybody!!!!!Service: Engine repair
