Honest, good pricing & excellent work. They saw an existing problem & fixed it; diagnose an additional problem & fixed it & fixed the initial problem that I went for! I'm happy & glad that my friend (that Amerindian + E Indian mix chap) from Tewkesbury village Leg 1 island recommended this place. The receptionist/office lady is knowledgeable - I was very impressed. I did give Anil, one of the mechanic a likkle $omething...Barrat seems like a manager/supervisor - do not like to tip someone who has more money than I do! Mih nah joke. It was all easy like, tea & water, as I used to say as a teenager on Leg 1 island in the late 70s - 80s.

Always come through in a clutch for me. Honest family. Angie is always a sweetheart and explains things to me when necessary. I've been going to them for about 15years.. They are reasonable with their prices, and if something is going on with your car, they take the time out to put the car on lift and show you while also explaining the issue. They have a client for life!

Excellent service i took my 2003 crown vic p71 police interceptor there and i was blown away by the great customer service. They pin point the problem with my alternator and they fixed it. They are great on prices and they are knowledgeable on cars. Great placeToday is January 21 2021When in need off help the only place you should turn too is Davids with out a doubt. This morning on my home from work my axle blew out along with my wheel bearing the only place I whatever bring my car to fix my car and did a complete checkup on it the work was fabulous it was done in a timely fashion professional and most importantly it was done correctly another good experience at David's

Like previously mentioned in one of my older reviews. I don't normally rate businesses highly or, give them a 5-star ratings. In this instance, I'd like to give David's Auto Repair a whopping top-shelf rating of the highest high.My review are based on many factors.1. I've been going here for quite some time now and the service is very consistent, hence my review took so long. I observe for a while and then, I put pen to paper. The mechanics knows what they are doing and they don't second guess themselves.2. The owner (Dave) is very friendly and knowledgeable guy and his sister (Anita) is basically the backbone of the company, she handles and run the business very efficient and smooth like car oil. (lol)3. The place is clean, spacious and organized. You can also asked them anything and don't matter how busy they are, they'll always make time to try and help you or give you their undivided attention to lead you in the right direction.4. They don't lie after diagnosing a problem either, they tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle, some other mechanic might fabricate or exaggerate a problem just to make extra money on you. Many times I wanted to fix things that I thought were bad and they quickly brought me back to reality, saying that "this is money you don't need to spend because there was nothing wrong with your car, it was just a minor fix" and it turned out to be true.5. I would say that living in the neighborhood for over 2 decades now, that I've finally found a business that I am content with all-round. From pizza, to a parts store or even a roti-shop, Dave's Auto Shop stands firm and tall among some of the top businesses in the area.Keep up the good work guys.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Oil change

Highly recommended! My truck had a check engine light on. A gentlemen at David's Auto Repair checked it out. He said he could fix it but advised me to take the truck to dealer because it was cover under manufacturer's warranty. Honest hard working people at David's.

Fast, friendly, honest and great service! Driving on the Belt Parkway during a rain storm with 2 kids in the car and my windshield wipers stopped working. Pulled right in they were super friendly, honest and fixed my issue right away. Great place!!!

They've been taking care of my car for a long time. They don't rip you off. If something needs to be fixed they'll tell you, if not, they'll also let you know you still have time. Very friendly and honest. They've replaced my car's suspension parts, got my wheels aligned, done all my oil changes, diagnosed a squeaking sound that I couldn't figure out, and much more. Just call a day or two ahead and expect to drop it off and pick it up later on. Sometimes with oil changes, you can even wait and they'll have it done within 30 minutes if they're not that busy. Love it!

I was recommended by a very good friend of mine to David Auto Repair shop. Mr David and his sister have great customer service, I was treated very respectfully, his diagnostic and suggestion was very honest and promptly, and I don't think you can beat his prices for the equality and cares he in put in his works. This is my first time here, and I recommend anyone to go there. Trust me, a good and honest mechanic is very hard to find, May God keep blessing him with the good works he/her has done, also with great health.Your truly Rudolph Dabie

I've been going to this garage for all my repairs. From the newer cars to my older cars and trucks this place does great work and at very respectable prices. They are very friendly people and will speak to you with the up most respect, unless of course you happen to piss them off (if you stay off their bad side you'll be in great hands lol). I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs any repairs to their cars or trucks. My cars there right now as I write this lol

I was referred to David's Auto Repair by my former car mechanic and I'm glad I took his advice! The person you most likely will meet in the office is Anita (David's daughter)...she is the best! She knows what she is doing and I have never met anyone better. I also find that their prices are very fair and they will give you good advice about your car. Do not pass these guys up....they are the real deal!

Need a thrust worthy technician to work on your car ? These guys are it ! My belt on my truck broke while I was visiting family in queens Ny ( in from NJ) . They handled the tow truck pickup and drop off them they fixed it all. I would recommend them 100%. Great service ! Thanks

I've been a customer of this business for some years now, and every time an auto problem arises, weather it be my cars or all of my trucks. Davids auto, comes through for me 100% of the time. In my opinion this is a finely tuned family owned and operated business, with old fashioned honesty and integrity, remininding me of my own multiple generation business. So go with Davids Auto, go with the best, their troubleshooting and diagnosis is always spot on perfect. Good luck to my friends at Davids auto for your continued success ....

David's is out of my way. I no longer reside in this community. But I come to this family owned business for the HONEST, friendly service. These days I reccomend calling and making an appointment. Once you're in line its fast, smoothe, pleasant service.

They are CROOKS - I Now have a civil case open against them. Do not & I REPEAT DO NOT trust these mechanics extremely unprofessional & ruined a car I had in my family for 10years. And blamed me for it! They kept taking money from me and never fixed the car. STAY AWAY!

Luv the family oriented business that offers incredible customer svc by all staff_takes care in svcg vehicles_explains issues in a professional manner_wonderful waiting area_prices seem to be reasonable based on work reqired_customers can be difficult/rude but they handle those issues accordingly which is a plus_enough space for multiple cars to be worked on_5 Bays and ample parking_great relationship with locals_

The most competent auto shop in queens, they are easy to talk to and explain all that has to be done without upselling. I bring all my vehicles here to get serviced and for NYS Inspection.

They Better not Get there vehicle repairs to complicated or they could very well be out of business.They no longer do many basic repairs to older Vehicles Models, Claiming that there New computers will no longer gave them the information they need to do the repair. WOW, HOW STRANGE DAVID'S AUTO REPAIRS, YOUR MECHANICS FORGOT HOW TO REPAIR MOST BASIC, COMMON VEHICLES THAT WERE THOUGHT IN EARLY MECHANIC SCHOOLS, REMEMBERING THAT CERTIFICATES AND MECHANIC LICENSES MUST BE UPDATED ALONG THEIR HISTORY AS A QUALIFIED MECHANIC. (OH WELL, THERE ARE A MANY MECHANICS AUTO REPAIRS THAT ARE AVAILABLE AND QUALIFIED TO REPAIR MOST OLD AND NEW VEHICLES WITHOUT SUCH COMPLICATED COMPUTERS.

If i could give a zero star i would. I took my car in for an oil change something simple as that. Was coming home from work and the oil filter fell out why idk ? They claim how i took out the oil filter to fraud them but i spend so much money on my car why would i want to harm it. The next day my engine made a knocking noise so the engine having any coil causing it to sieze i went to complain to them they said they aren t responsible. And now i have to either do a engine swap or get another car for something as just as easy as an oil change that they poorly did. But i made a complaint. BE CAREFUL GUYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR car before you leave if you can.

Very good service, they know how to treat a costumer!! I went to 3 different auto repair in Rockaway Blvd they with nasty attitude, but David's repair totally different.
