Beautiful collection of bikes and well worth a walk around if you're in the area. I hadn't read up much on the place before taking a stroll through and was made to feel very welcome. There's no entrance fee and not much in the way of souvenirs (a few baseball caps and t-shirts). I saw one guy cleaning a bike and thought "he looks like a dead ringer for Billy Joel". Turns out it's Billy Joel's private collection and he lets people walk around and admire them. He also uses all of them so, although visitors can't touch them, they're definitely not museum show-ponies. This is an awesome spot for anyone with even a passing interest in bikes.

Is it a Motorcycle Museum? Is it Billy Joel's private garage that is also open to the public on the weekends? It is both of these and more. It is free to stop in and look around, there are souvenirs available for purchase (t-shirts and pins). A beautiful collection of bikes from various manufacturers and historical periods. If you enjoy motorcycles, definitely worth a stop.

Billy Joel s vintage motor bikes that he collected and customized through the years, recreating them into an aesthetic classic. Great for anyone who wants to see what motorcycles used to look like. There is no telephone number to call but you can fill in a form on the website and they will contact you. This is working fixing and building motor bike shop to And they will fulfill any need you have The bikes are all very beautiful , and spaced and positioned for viewing nicely though I would not recommend small children unless under very closely watched adult supervision I believe it is wheelchair accessible. There is a booth in the back where business can be discussed and decided on. I do not know if the floor model motor bike collection is for sale but they represent as an example of what your modernization 20th cycle could look like. 20th Century Cycles is yet another wonderful and positive example of a place that downtown Oyster Bay is being known for.

If you want to see beautifully maintained 20th century motorcycles and memorabilia, it doesn't get much better than this. About 80 classic bikes, many I've only seen in pictures. Best of all, it's free. Check the websitw for hours. This is Billy Joel's collection which he rides regularly

Even if you don't ride its cool to see. You never know if Billy will drop in to take a ride.Update to earlier review. Stopped off on a Thursday middle of the day. Billy was there working with his mechanic. He rode up on a beautiful vintage Triumph. Didn't want to bother him, sorry no picture.

This is the second time our club has visited 20th Century Cycles. It's really a fascinating place if you're into any type of motor vehicle or especially motorcycles. I highly recommend it. The town has a lot of other things to do besides the motorcycle shop

This is a museum to modern 20th century motorcycles. A wonderful selection of many bikes I had also owed, the quality of each is so obvious. We are so lucky to have it here in this wonderful town. Thank you Billy.....

If you like motorcycles this place is a must visit. They have excellent collection of motorcycles. Plus there is no fees to get in.

On my trip to the USA to help my sister prepare her house for sale, I took the day off and went for a drive and a ferry ride , to find this small slice of motorcycle heaven.Owned by an enthusiast, there was a wide variety of Vintage, Classic and modern retro versions which are made in house!I spoke with Scott for a lengthy time, and loved every second.Well done everyone.Hope to come back again one day.Andrew from Australia.

This show room features part of Billy Joel's motorcycle collection. It is quite unique and is open to the public on weekends. It also hosts a car show out in the street every Tuesday evening during the spring & summer.

Thank you for sharing all your wonderful toys! I noticed everyone was registered and ready for the road. Beautiful . The red white and blue helmet brought back a wonderful memory of a friend of mine who used to wear the same helmet. Great place to go .

As a Billy Joel fan, I have to say that this is a Must-See!! Also, if you're a motorcycle enthusiast you'll love this place... It's a shop where Billy Joel's private motorcycle collection is kept and it's Open to the Public on the weekends, with no admission fees... Free, FREE!!

A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT SEE ALL THEBEAUTIFUL BIKES. OLD CLASSIC VINTAGE ALL MAKES MODELS YEARS SEE HOW THEY WERE BUILT BACK IN THE DAY. REALLY A GREAT TIME ALWAYS AND WE LOVE BILLY JOEL AND HIS MUSIC TOO. PLUS RIDING AROUND THE TOWNS THERE NICE ROADS KOOL LIL STORES TO VISIT.

Billie Joel's Motorcycle collection. Interesting to look at. You walk through at your own pace. Hands off but look all you want. I don't own a motorcycle, no less a motorcycle collection, but this was an interesting place to wander around.
