I get there at 220 on a Tuesday, there is only one other person who is there before me. I talk with the guy and he says the tires I saw online weren't in stock so I had to go with a higher brand, that is what it is. I get all 4 of my tires changed and it took 3 hours!! I asked when I could be out of there and all I got was soon. After that the guys inside started hanging out inside the garage so we couldn't bother them. (By we I mean the 2 other guys who were waiting forever and getting annoyed with how long things were taking). Then when I finally get my vehicle back at 530, I notice they didn't recalibrate the tire pressure sensors so I drove off a bit and then came back. Luckily the new guy that they grabbed (who was agitated they didn't grab the guy who did my car and can't blame him since it was close to closing time for them) was great and helped recalibrate them so the sensor warning wasn't flashing anymore. All in all DO NOT GO HERE unless you have all day for simple jobs and make sure they do all the things necessary with those jobs.

Have had three interactions with this shop in the last three months and all went very well. The first was when I brought my car for tire rotation (Bolt EUVs need a rotation every 5000 miles.) I was pleasantly surprised that there was no charge for the rotation since I'd purchased a replacement tire sometime before the visit.Next was bringing my wife's car in with a slow leak - and another pleasant surprise when they pulled the nail and plugged it for free.And today, they were prompt and efficient in replacing a tire on my car that developed a sidewall bubble (hit a deep pothole.) This repair wasn't free but their price for the tire and installation was substantially less than what a competitor was charged last year.

Went in for an oil change and a new back windshield wiper. Carlos explained everything to me and kept me updated while I waited. After the work was completed, he answered all my questions and was a very thorough manager! Zach was also very welcoming and helpful as well.

They are Horrible. Inefficient and mismanaged They had 3 people working on 1 car. I only had a tire replacement. Tire was already mounted to rim. (So I Thought) They brought the car in immediately but it sat there while they walked around talking.I initially asked for just the new tire mounted and I was going to put it back on myself. The guy told me, no we will put it on. It took an Hr and a half. I purchased Tires for three cars in the last 3 years.Over 3000. Dollars. And this cost 240 for 1 tire replacement.Coulda saved 50 bucks install and 2 hrs of my time.Update: They never got the new tire. Someone called me By mistake and said the tire was ready. The Gentleman helping me didn t believe me. I showed him the Voicemail. So I sat there for 1.5Hrs my car on the lift. And they didn t think to tell me they never got the tire. Horrible. So 2 hrs and I still don t have the tire.Never purchasing here again.

Carlos and his team offer amazing service and a comfy/clean waiting area for clients willing to wait for whatever their vehicle is in for!Edit: I can't write another review, so I'm going to edit this existing oneOnce again, Carlos and his team offered tremendous service and took care of my car, and I, all at a reasonable price. Just know that your vehicle will be in good hands whenever you decide to bring it to Mavis Ossining

I have been there 2 times over the last 2 months for tires and alignments on 2 of our vehicles. Carlos runs a great shop! Great customer service in providing all options possible. I would definitely recommend them to others for auto service needs.

Every time I ve been there I ve left with exactly what I needed! Also, thank you to the both of them for recommending the tire insurance! It really came through clutch

I just want to say thank you to Carlos and Andre for their help and excellent customer service on my visit yesterday, February 15. They were very professional and helpful and offering suggestions and letting me ask some of my what may be considered dumb questions.. They were always patient and courteous. This review is a little delayed, but I still wanted everyone to know about the great service that I received from the Mavis in Ossining. Back in December I had a flat tire and had gone to a couple other shops in the area, and none of them carried the special run-flat that I needed. I came to Mavis hoping that I would be able to get the flat tire fixed that same day as it was the week before Christmas and they had my tire in stock! They were able to quickly change my tire before the holiday season and I was on my way! Thank you so much to the Mavis team I will definitely be returning here for all of my tire needs!

the new management under Carlos and his co workers Ray & Zachary are wonderful people and care about the customers coming through the door. they are their to accommodate the needs for Mavis customers. great service overall with quick turn around time. It is refreshing to see a management like them commit to being the best

I had an appointment for an inspection. They failed me because my tail light was cracked. The light worked fine! The housing was cracked on the side however, it did not affect the functionality, solely a cosmetic issue. I ve had this crack for over three years and passed all my other inspections no problem. Your car better be off the show room floor or you won t pass inspection.

I had a great experience at the Ossining Mavis today. The person at the front desk and the mechanic were very helpful. They addressed the problem and I went on my way feeling that my tires were safe. Thanks so much to everyone who helped me.

These guys are the greatest.WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND service. They are my local tire shop, they have competition right down the road, and they are the best.ONE YEAR LATER: Hit my first pothole, been driving for 49 years. I was convinced the tire and rim were smooshed. I was sure I would need a new set.They were able to bend the rim back to specifications and gave me a great price on the new tire.Once again feel blessed to have Mavis in town.When they say it will take a certain amount of time to fix, they are always on time.I know you have choices in Ossining but Mavis tire will continue to be my 'go-to" tire store.

Twice have come for inspection and both times have been told they don t have anyone to inspect the car. First time I understand it was a Sunday still got my inspection in another place. Second time week day and it was at 3pm and they have the same issue.. I guess some people just don t want to work.

I wound up in Mavis this week not once, but twice. First, my tire blew out and even though it was near the end of the day Zachary and the team took care of me quickly. Then, I returned for my NYS Inspection. Once again, great service, professional team, and a clean and comfortable waiting area. Great experience X 2!!

I am giving one star because I can't give a negative 5. Took my car for a NYS inspection, had an appointment at 8 and they didn't see it till 10. Then they failed me because of my tires. I was charged for the NYS inspection and was hearing tire pitch after tire pitch. I took my car to Firestone the same day and my car passed inspection with flying colors. so I have paid for 2 NYS inspections for one of two reasons. 1) the mechanics at Mavis are not properly trained to do NYS inspections. Or, and most likely, 2) They thought they could get one up on me and turn a $37 job into a $1000+ job. Nice try. I got a letter from my mechanic and fully intend on going in this week for my refund as I should have passed the inspection when I brought it there the first time, instead, I was inconvenienced, lied to, and in a way robbed. Never going to a Mavis again, they really are a joke and nothing more. I rather drive an hour to firestone and feel like I am actually being taken care of and not just seen as a woman they can manipulate and screw over

Stopped by this morning due to a tire pressure issue and Carlos, the manager went above and beyond to help me. Turns out one of my tires had a nail inside of it. The problem was quickly fixed and I was even given complimentary service! I highly recommend this shop for their courtesy and professionalism.

After a rough experience last time I was here they offered to comp me a free oil change next time if I gave them a five star review on here. Now it's next time and they wouldn't honor the deal, but hey easy come easy go.I came for an inspection yesterday but the sticker machine was broken. They told me they could do the inspection and I'd just have to stop by the next morning to get the sticker and pay, real quick. Now it's the next morning and I've been here over an hour and am going to be late for work.Seems to be poor communication overall. If the person you dealt with before isn't there it's like it never happened.

So going through some paperwork from 2 years ago i found the brake service i had done. The rotors on my vehicle were replaced but remembering back to a conversation i had with my wife 6 months ago and rotating my own tires i thought to myself NO way these are new rotors when i looked at them (it was a year after replacement). They looked like they have been on the car in the rain for 10 years submerged. The rotors are two years old and the rusting around the disc and the in the hub is bad, my guess is they never changed them. Of course the warranty was for a year. My strong word of caution is if they are doing work on your car at this shop make sure you check to make sure it was actually done. Im so mad at myself for not checking before i drove off those years back.
