Due to Raynaud s Syndrome, it is basically impossible to unscrew the four little valve stem covers to check the tire pressures and add air wherever necessary. However, when my low tire pressure light came on the other day, in 9 degree weather. I messaged Monser Bros in hopes of a miracle and I got one! It didn t cost me a thing, but I chose to tip the man for helping me out! Great customer service!! Thank you!!

Went to Monroe for an oil change and had 4 new tires put on. Service was good, timing was fast. Will use again

I've been going to Monser Brothers for about 10 years now. John, the service manager is extremely knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service. Lou, the tire guy will always steer me in the right direction to fit my needs. I drive a $100k truck, and I wouldn't let anybody but their diesel mechanic Dave G touch my engines. Jeff the owner has created a business environment where you can take your most valuable possessions to be worked on to feel safe, and know you will be treated fairly. Its a hometown business that supports the local community, and I'm happy I have them available to me. (They've done all the work on my truck and trailers, including providing all of the tires)

Wow. What great service from Monser Brothers Auto Repair Shop. My daughter brought the car to them at 3PM today and by 5PM it was fixed. The staff was so kind and explained the problem to my daughter. Their fee was very reasonable for what needed to be done. If your student needs any type of car repair, I highly recommend them. I have taken my car here a couple of times now. Even though it shouldn't be this way, the one thing that is really frustrating a lot of times for a woman is taking a car to a garage because of being taken advantage of or being treated like your dumb or something. Monser Brothers IS NOT like this at all. I recently took my car in because I thought something more was wrong with it then just an alignment because I had one done at a different shop. I took it to these guys and they very well could have "taken me for a ride" they didn't and it did end up being an alignment. The one I got was no good. I forgot my purse (go figure) and they still did my alignment, let me go home and call in the payment!! They have been the best garage that I have taken my vehicle to and would absolutely recommend them to anyone! They really are awesome and I hope they continue to be!! You go guys!!!!

Great group of people. Been using them for the last 4 years to do our annual inspections and tire services on our 3 vehicles. They are always ready to answer and questions and concerns you may have about your vehicle. Great service. They re always fast, friendly, and try to accommodate you or your schedule. Prices are competitive and they provide great service. We were quoted nearly 1.5x the cost with a national service center and had nothing but delays / rescheduling that caused us to shop around. Very happy we came here instead and will be customers for as long as they re open!

Honda engine heat shield partially came off and was dragging on the road while traveling in I88 near Oneonta. Called Monser Bros and Scott orchestrated a solution to the problem immediately. We were on our way in 30 minutes. Fast, efficient service ata VERY reasonable price. Recommend them highly.Services: Transmission, Auto body & trim repair, Body & Trim

The guys at Monser were terrific! I was away with my son at All Star Village and ended up with a nail in my tire. They ordered a new tire for me just in case . Fortunately, my tire could be repaired and the fixed it right away. Could not have been a nicer bunch.Service: TiresService: Tires

These guys are awesome,and honest. They take great care and patience with my Dad. I thought I needed brakes and rotors. Turns out they were rusty and needed to be scraped. I am so grateful for honest service. Plus i had a alignment and they were patient with me and my weak shoulder. Made sure it was easy to drive. No drag! So , yeah. Most reliable honest repair place I have ever been to. Good prices too!!!!

Called to see if they could take a look at my sons car urgently, spoke with John who was VERY accommodating and said sure bring it in! My son brought it in and even though the were swamped they diagnosed his car and fixed the problem within two hours! Spectacular service!! These guys know what they're doing. Fast, friendly and courteous! Customer service is superb, environment is friendly and the mechanics take their time to explain the work they've completed and the possibility of future repairs that may be needed. Honest business with honest people! John, Scott and Lou rock the front of the house!

The customer service was amazing! They were busy but you wouldn't have noticed it by your wait time! I had an alignment done within an hour, charged me for nearly half the price bc i didn't need a full alignment! Regardless full price was affordable! Highly recommend!

Great customer service experience. Took our car in for a routine inspection, but due to rust they could not pass it. They took pictures, showed us all the stress points, and explained several suggested courses of action - all at no cost since it was our first time and they only lifted the car! Clearly a well-run, family-style business with a great reputation in this small city.

One of The most trusted auto mechanic I've ever been to.Helpful courteous and friendly Lou and Mike a very accommodating. They make sure they address all your problems you are having with your automobile.Fair pricing and they make sure they explain what they had to do to fix your automobile.

My family was enroute to Connecticut to visit friends and had just got on Route 88 outside Oneonta and heard some terrible grinding noises coming from the front of our Subaru. I quickly did a search for brake service and found Monser Brother s. They were rated 4.8 out of 5 stars so I called them and explained what we were doing and hearing. He advised they were very busy then said can you get it right over. I said yes and we turned around and was there is less than 15 minutes. They took it right in and put it on the lift. Verdict, front brakes were sticking. They fit us right in and after about an hour we were back on the road! We feel the 4.8 stars was low for these guys! They are 5 STARS for sure! Thanks again guys. They will not trick you into an unnecessary repair for the sake of profit. Whatever needs fixing will be brought to your attention with the time frame when it has to be done but HONESTY is their main policy. Easy parking, clean waiting room and clean restroom. Contactless payments, comfy leather armchairs in the waiting area. Quality work on your vehicle! Highly recommend!

The best auto repair shop I've ever been to In This County. They are honest and make sure your car leaves repaired no matter how long it takes to repair.John and Lou have great personalities, they explain everything that's wrong with your car. Great place overall.

Jeff and the crew at Monser Brothers have always provided me with excellent prices and excellent service. Numerous times I have had an urgent / last minute problem with a vehicle that the mechanics stayed after closing time to fix and get me back on the road.The alignments have always been spot-on, and their tire knowledge is second to none.Contrary to another review, I have brought vehicles in expecting certain parts needing replacement, only to find out that a different, less expensive fix was required.Competent mechanics, friendly associates, fast and complete work all make Monser Brothers THE place to have your car repaired.

Very courteous and helpful. We needed a basic oil change during the pandemic while passing through. I texted at 10 pm to ask if I needed an appt. To my surprise, they responded immediately to advise yes and that they would follow up in the morning with availability. We were able to schedule via text. The waiting area was spotless. The counterperson was patient and knowledgeable and willing to chat about maintenance costs on other cars as I am looking to buy a new car.

After getting ready to go home after a family trip, we discovered our tire was completely flat. Given it was the 4th of July weekend, almost nobody was open for service except for Monser. Despite our being 15 minutes late (driving on a donut tire) and their running behind schedule due to an unexpected accident, they took the car in, diagnosed the problem and fixed our tire within 40 minutes all for a shockingly reasonable price. Every single person working was beyond pleasant, and although we live an hour from Oneonta I will absolutely be coming back here for new tires and maintenance. 10/10!Service: Tires
