Went into Lowe s today to purchase joist jacks. The jacks found were standing in a section labeled with the appropriate description. The labeled price was $109, but rang up as 145. False advertisement. The manager was called over and refused reconcile the situation of their false advertisement/price label. Unprofessional and rude tone. The mislabeled price cost me an additional $160. Do your jobs! There wasn t even a shelf spot or label for this item. No price mark anywhere to identify these items. Absolutely terrible.

UPDATE 1-22-24: I called the number given by Lowe's as a response to this review. It is the same ineffective customer service number I have called countless times. Once again, I spent almost 2 hours on the phone, grappling with employees attempting to push this aside, until I made it to an Operations Manager, who is allegedly passing this issue up the chain.Do not use Lowe's for installation. Working with them to install windows & doors on my house has been a massive letdown. We paid in full for this routine project in October 2022. We're going on our 16th month, my project is still not complete, and what has been completed is covered mistakes that still need to be fixed. Lowe's hires substandard contractors who make careless & ridiculous mistakes, their in-store employees lose measurements, call the wrong contractors, and generally have no idea what's going on. "Lowe's Installation Support" is an entirely separate entity run like a call center designed to make you hang up; they do not effectively communicate with stores or contractors, let alone customers. Over the last 16 months, I've spoken to a large number of Install Support employees, all of whom continually ignore my directives, lie about taking notes, take incorrect notes, and have zero awareness of the status of my project (which is literally their job). I even lost a month trying to contact our first sales rep, because he left the company and no one told us, let alone picked up our project. I have put in more hours dealing with rampant unprofessionalism, than the amount of time it takes to do the actual work I hired Lowe's to complete. This has truly been the worst customer service I have ever experienced, by a vast margin. I do not recommend using Lowe's for installation.

This was my first and last large purchase at Lowe s. I always use Home Depot but they did not have the brand appliances in stock that I wanted. So I stopped in Lowes on Friday 12/8 and asked if they had the appliances in stock that I wanted and they said yes and they said they actually had a delivery date of 12/10. Other than a refrigerator, I had no appliances because of a kitchen remodel. So I was glad to get them. It was pouring rain on Sunday 12/10 the delivery date. They arrived and immediately took the stove, dishwasher and a new clothes dryer off the truck lift and dropped them in the muddy unpaved driveway in their boxes. Understand it s pouring and the cardboard boxes are getting soaked and I m watching the bottoms of the boxes absorb the muddy water. 10 minutes later they bring them in my house and then I see my new kitchen aid refrigerator come down off the truck. They take it off the truck lift and plop it in the muddy driveway. They then remove all the styrofoam, plastic and they remove the wooden base the refrigerator is attached too and now the refrigerator is sitting in a muddy driveway. I yelled out my front door, get that refrigerator out of the mud. The one guy laughed. It s still pouring and hey I understand that, I ll dry it off. But to plop a new $2,000 plus refrigerator on my muddy unpaved driveway ? They brought the refrigerator up on my front porch and I asked them to stop. I could see mud on the bottom and I asked them to tip it. I got on my hands and knees and looked under the frig and it was muddy. I refused the refrigerator order. If you look at the picture I attached of my kitchen aid stove box that was left on finished floors and I had to move to an unfinished section, you ll see how the dishwasher, clothes dryer and stove boxes looked that were left in my house. Now I have to deal with either a new delivery date or getting refunded for the frig and go look elsewhere.

As long as you don t require a human being to interact with this is a great store. If you are here in person or trying to call it s the same thing, poor customer service.

I've spent at least 20 K at this particular store in the past 5 months. The customer service is GREAT, as long as you don't go later in the day, especially on a Sunday. Then it's hard to find an employee who is knowledgeable in specialty areas.

I went in on Halloween for rope for my daughter's Halloween costume I didn't catch the man's name that helped me but he was great !! Super friendly and carried on a conversation which I love ! GREAT customer service on his part :) and he gave me a little extra rope just in case :)

Horrible customer service. Manager refused to refund flooring over 90 days from purchase (which has never been enforced before and I ve actually had them not use my receipt in the past) but in the same transaction did refund two other products over 90 days. Also my husband wanted to speak with the manager again and she refused to speak with him, turned her head and walked away.The reply from the store is lip service. I already had called the number and they stated they couldn t help.

The employees are always friendly and helpful. You don't usually have to search for them because they are everywhere. I especially like the paint department. They've saved me money and hassle.

When ask staff said they were busy. So my wife and I loaded the materials (12 foot sheet metal roof panels) on to cart and as they were still busy into my truck. Fortunately, we (average age 80) were able to accomplish the task. But I will shop around for better service.

I bought a high end Samsung refrigerator 13 months the motor starts making funny noises Lowe's will not do anything about it 10 year warranty from Samsung they will not do anything about it would not buy anything from Lowe's Their managers are low end their help is low end Lowe's if you do not like My review reach out to me and fix my refrigerator I spent a lot of money refurbishing my kitchen Is not happy

If you know what you want it's a 4 star. If you require help such as buying a washer forget it. Waited a 20 min to see someone who worked there. Then I only spoke to them because I called the store number!! Then was hold approximately 14 min. Then lady I spoke to said no we don't have the one I wanted (even though showed 3 online), so I said well I need one today and she hung up on me!! Then when I got a supervisor she was back there saying I was ruse... long story short about an hour later left with washer. Been real bad there lately!!!

Since Sears is now closed, I purchased my washer and dryer from Lowe's. Salesman told me I would get delivery of my new washer and gas dryer on Saturday May 27th. He failed to tell me that I would need to have the dryer disconnected and reconnected because the delivery drivers don't do that. How infuriating!!!... Shame on you Lowe's for not keeping your customers informed as to the prep work needed to be done before the delivery and installation of new gas appliances.

If you are looking appliances then go somewhere else. Nobody knows anything and will just make things up on the spot and lie to you. It also doesn t appear that hardly any of the staff is trained on how to work any of their own systems at this store. I ordered a dishwasher which I had already picked out and it should have taken about twenty minutes but instead took nearly 3 hours and 4 different staff to get it setup to be delivered and installed. It was delivered to their store and sat there for over two weeks even with me calling asking where it was, it was still on the way. Their main Customer service finally told me that it was indeed at the store and had been for nearly two weeks but nobody had scanned it in so the installers could pick it up. I called the store and was put on hold 3 separate times for over 25 mins before I just hung up and went into the store again. After talking to a manager and having them do their job, miraculously an installer contacted me the next day. The installer is a third party and them and the product itself were great but please go to another location or Home Depot.

Good collection of supply - went for plumbing; prices as good as Amazon, but on demand and able to check sizes, try fittings, etc. As always, my preferred local stop since their app stores receipts and let's you avoid having to save the paper ones when you scan your rewards barcode located at the top of the main menu when logged in.

We needed vinyl flooring. A staff member called up for help in flooring. They cut the flooring and wrapped it in plastic wrap using the 4ft width end so we could it in our hatchback. Very pleasant service including the pleasant cashier.

The lumber department is a joke. Nobody knows what they're doing. Multiple employees playing pass the buck for basic questions. They can't cut anything right. I'll stick with home depot

Not one person who "works" there gives a darn about customer service. We recently purchased a dishwasher for install and I've tried repeatedly to find out if it's come in to be able to schedule the installation and absolutely no one would answer the phone. I asked for a manager and still nothing.

Let me start by saying the new third-party delivery service is horrendous. I had a lot of difficulty getting picnic tables delivered to our property. I have used Lowe s over the last three years and never had a problem getting a delivery.Eventually I decided to just pick up the picnic tables at the Oneonta store. Renee, the manager, was terrific. She definitely made us a satisfied customer by offering a generous discount for our inconvenience.She listened to us, understood how wrongly we were treated, and made things right.Honorable mention to John in delivery. He also understood our situation and handled things very professionally.I will never order online with delivery again, unless I am assured it is a Lowe s delivery person sending the product to our home/property. I advise you do the same.

I purchaced a saniflo toilet kit 3 pieces on 6/15/22 and picked up on that day, when I brought it to the job in the city i opened the tank box and it was damaged. I brought it back to the store for an exchange, they had to contact the vendor to get me a new one. Lowes rep told me it would take a couple of weeks, so i waited and it never arrived, I called Lowes and they said that it was a problem with shipping and that I would get it soon. I waited again and now it's been 31/2 months and now they tell me I can't get a new tank and they are going to give me a refund for the tank. I called the shipping company and they told me Lowes was refunded for the tank so not only did I pay for the tank but Lowes got the refund also and never credited or refunded me. I will never shop in this store evever again. And im filing a complaint with BBB OF ONEONTA

I usually shop there in the Home and Garden section for a few ornamental plants, though I have not since the pandemic. Usually, they have better quality plants for this cold zone area, the Moravia plant selection they have is quite good. The parking lot needs some shade trees.
