Absolutely a wonderful stay. We were planning on staying in salmenca but was full due to a concert and boy am I glad it was. Not only.was this microtel less then half the cost of the cheapest room at the casino, they also offer military veteran discount, and my family and I won't stay anywhere else in this area ever again . All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, they seemed to go out of their way to.make.our stay above and.beyond. especially mark, he was.working the desk when we arrived. Wonderful fellow. This hotel was the only hotel.around out of the seven we called that would even let us book a room at 5 am. The rest were either full or te is we had to wait until 3pm that evening so we recommend it to anyone

Toilet didn't flush properly. No warm or hot water Friday evening or Saturday morning. Finally got hot water about 30 minutes before we checked out Saturday morning. Only 1 of the 3 of us got a hot shower; the other 2 had to take cold baths. The staff were friendly enough and I don't want them to get in trouble. We weren't happy with all the plumbing issues our room had. We won't stay there again.

I'll start with the room was priced very affordably and the staff were kind and nice.However. Our room was on the other side of the front desk and noisy. Slept with our bathroom fan on to try and block some of the noise. The worst though was that our room smelt like a wet dog. It was terrible, like the order had leeched into the carpet, the bed, all of it. The place is also dated. Will not be returning, even if we wanted to save a buck.

Decent price right across from St. Bonaventure. It was really clean and the rooms were average. Some don't have fridges and microwaves which was a little different for a Microtel. However, what really stood out was the customer service. My daughter left her laptop in the room even though she said everything was packed. The housekeeping staff found it, gave it to the front desk and they called us before we left town. Laptop was collected with everything intact. Thank you.

I struggle with insomnia and have physical injuries and slept ok , family said they slept well so that's good enough for me. Only complaint, or suggestion, desk agent should learn to not be so dramatic in her facial expressions, and should at least review accounts and see if guests are rewards members. Perks are perks for a reason, besides you never know who you are actually providing service to, make each guest count. Oh and we loved the automatic pancake maker. Wasn't a big area to have many items but it was clean, and items were fresh.

Staff: 4.5/5Breakfast: 4/5 (pre-made sausage/egg/cheese biscuits in the fridge, pre-made omelettes in the fridge, pre-made french toast in the fridge, fruit cups and yogurt, hot and cold cereal and bread products - I'd give a 5/5 but the morning staff was not attentive to making sure the foods got replenished. I liked the utensil dispenser)Rooms: 5/5 (clean, the mirrored walls made the room feel larger, the window seat was nice, lots of lights)Weekday in July for 1 night came to $130

A good place for a night. We enjoyed our stay as the bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean as well as neat. The only negative is we could hear our neighbors over the television. Not quite enough privacy due to that.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms were a little dated, and the TV was awkwardly mounted on the (slanted) top of the dresser. Staff were friendly and attentive. The location is also great: close to Rt 17, and directly across from SBU. Would recommend!

Decent hotel. Bed is fairly comfortable. Washer and dryer are excellent! Internet service is quite bad, though. Usable, but that's about it. Cuts out, very high latency, and sometimes you have to log in over and over again. Staff a little inattentive. Needed something for my room. Front desk lady said she'd have it taken care of by the time I got back (was out for a couple hours). Come 2 pm, housekeeping heard nothing about what I needed.. They helped take care of need though.

Nice but small room. First room smelled like cigarettes. Requested another and was granted with no issues. Breakfast was very good; continental and had many options. Staff was very friendly. Walk to local bar/restaurant is convenient. Dunkin Donuts right next door as well. Overall, nice place.

Only giving it 4 stars because the staff was very courteous and helpful. Parking is awful. Take the toilet paper off the roll or you'll be reaching to the wall in front of you for it. They offer a breakfast but we were unable to eat because of my mother having surgery early the next morning. The second positive is the queen beds and pillows were comfortable, even for my mother with her c collar on.

The location was perfectly fine, although we almost turned into the exit - slightly clearer signage might be helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable reading nook, reasonably comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows. The shower had good pressure, which was a godsend. The TV signal kept fritzing out, but that could be a provider issue. The staff was friendly, but we had to remind them about our rollaway. I'd go again.

Very nice and clean. You get coffee all day and that is a big plus. The staff are very welcoming and if you forget anything at home they dont charge extra to get it at the front desk. I was very pleased with my stay. Ill come back there and stay any time

Great hotel for a short nights stay. Rooms are cozy but perfect for a night or two. They have rooms with a single queen bed or two queen beds. Rooms were clean and everything worked properly. Parking is a little light but a lot is provided a short walk away (only 15 seconds or so but it is not directly next to the hotel). I would stay again!
