Good little mountain. Wish more trails were open this year but no snow and global warming will do that. Good prices for lift tickets for smaller mountain. Rental prices a little higher than expected.

McCauley Mountain Ski & Mountain Bike Center is a great place to check out! We ventured out during the autumn leaf changing season and it was absolutely gorgeous! The ski lift provided an expansive view of all the beautiful colors of the leaves. You can stop at the top and enjoy the view for longer. There are some great Adirondack chairs provided to let you sit and relax for a little bit. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

Great views of fall foliage in early October. Lots of people but not overwhelming. We did the 20 minute hike which was not taxing at all. Def worth the 20$ for 2 adults. 5$ for seniors.

Beautiful views and nice workers helping us get on and off the lift. Very reasonable too!

We did the scenic chair lift at McCauley Mountain. So worth the $10!!!!!!! The views were beautiful especially with the beginning of the fall foliage. We will definitely return when in the area again. Great alternative for when you don t feel like hiking for a beautiful view.

What a beautiful little gem in the Adirondacks. I've live not to far from here all my life (30+) years and only heard about the scenic chair lift ride last year. We decided to ride up and see the beautiful fall views. It was absolutely spectacular. There is a nice little walking trail that takes about 20 minutes and several lookout points at the top of the lift. The views are amazing. We live in a breathtaking area and the fall colors only add to it. The price is super reasonable. Especially if you want to bring the family. It would be a fun event for all!

If you're in the area this is a great place to bring the family for a quick and easy morning or afternoon excursion. Took the two young kids (6 & 7) on the ski lift up the mountain and there are lovely scenic views to enjoy both from the chair lift and once you get to the top. There are also a couple of walking trails if you want to make more of a day with it.

Nice area with amazing views. The hike down (if you want to walk) takes about a 1/2 hour and the views are amazing.

We used to ski here every year in January as a group dubbed by our enforcer, Doug, "Eat & Ski". After several years of revelry out and about Old Forge and environs, the group slowly dissolved until we were down to just four of us, and now, alas, it is no more. It was always a fun time, but time goes by, we all get older, and we go our own ways. I hope to go back myself this winter now that I will get the senior discount! I just hope the Towbar also gives me the senior discount!

McCauley is absolutely amazing! You can ride ALL the trails including the best flow trails for FREE! That's right, why pay $50 to ride Windham when it's all right here. It's an E-MTBers paradise!

Loved this hill! Went on a Friday and it was not over crowded, the snow was kept up great, trails were nice for me as a beginner and for my husband who is more experienced. Will definitely be back!

Nice view of the foliage. Only 6 bucks per rider. Cool overlook at the top also. You can see a lot up there. Whiteface is very distant. But you can still see it!

The chairlift is a "must do" during "leaf peeper" season! You can take the short 20 minute hike down the mountain if you need to get your steps in.

Never been there in winter but it's wonderful in fall. The color, trees and $6 chair lift is well worth it. It gets really crowded in weekend you might have to wait 20-30 mins in line but in weekdays there's no line. Plenty of parking space.

This past December, I decided to take my whole family skiing for the first time. I have 5 children so I was definitely apprehensive with how it would actually go, I figured we'd get a couple hours on the bunny slope in. When I researched this place, the price seemed right and the size of the runs seemed reasonable for my kids.We arrived and I was astonished at just how perfect this is for first time skiers. Every employee we interacted that day was kind, customer-oriented and genuinely interested in seeing us have a good day. We had the entire beginner slope to ourselves for the whole morning. On top of that the individual who operated the rope tow spent time helping my kids with getting their skis back on, learning the best ways to handle the rope tow and just offering a word of encouragement. All in all, this is a great place to go ski for a family.

Loved it here and will definitely be back. The lodge is so cozy and well maintained and the kids loved the skiing. It was worth the drive for a fun day trip!

Only 2 trails were working 1.7.23.. they started to blow snow around 1pm.. overall it is not expensive , but for 1 trail and 1 trail for kids doesnt worth to go there...

As you can imagine, the line to take the ski lift is mighty long. However, you can hike to the top of the hill adjacent to the ski lift and still indulge in some spectacular views. Plus, it's a great adventure for little ones. There is also a playground and picnic tables if you are the picnicking type

The Adirondack chair lift was only $6. The staff were so nice and friendly. They answered all my silly questions. The view was great from the top, and you can hangout up there as long as you want. There's even a trail to hike up or down if you prefer.
