I am immensely happy with the work that North Star Autobody has done on my car. They care about the customers, are very professional, and do amazing work on the cars. It is their passion and you can see it in their work! A year ago, my car had some damage to the front and the hood from a collision accident. Jordan and Dominick fixed my car to the point that it looked brand new, and it is as if nothing had ever happened to my car! Again, recently I noticed some scratches on the side of my car, and of course I brought my car to this place because I trust their opinion and want the best work for my vehicle. They detailed my car so beautifully it looked brand new again. I am so grateful to them for their work. I highly recommend them to anyone who cares about their car and want a trustworthy best possible work done for the car.

It's very unlikely to write reviews although the business, North Star Auto Body, I felt obligated based on my experiences. I always spoke with Dominick each time I brought my vehicles there. He's old schooled, easy going and always a pleasure to work with. For each car repair I've had he regularly provided the extra effort to insure I'm happy with the repair. Not a common experience with any business today.Jordan has been my first contact at this business and has also been a pleasure to speak with. Courteous and respectful and promptly prioritizes the issues at hand whether it was insurance related or another task that needed attention. I'm very meticulous with my cars and a stickler for quality workmanship. They have been completely accommodating with each visit.My car is returned shiny and detailed in and out.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This shop is an absolute class act. We dealt with Jordan mostly (who is a gentleman) but had nothing but great customer service with anyone who we dealt with.You can tell that the entire team takes pride in this business as soon as you walk through the front door. The office is well decorated, and the shop looked extremely clean and organized from what I was able to see.Most importantly the work came out amazing. Our 10 year old car now looks brand new. When we picked up the car it felt like a new house reveal on TV.I could not be more impressed by this team.

We had an accident last month, and the North Star Team is there to help. A few minutes after our accident, they are there to pick up our car. The next day, they assisted us with our car rental. The following days, we followed up, and they were nice to accommodate and answer our questions. All in all, We are truly grateful for their wonderful service and support. As per the picture shown (the before and after), they truly did a job well done. We will definitely recommend their team to all our friends. Thanks to all the nice man who had helped us.

I would definitely recommend North Star for any auto body work you need. When my car was hit two times in two months Anthony and his team went above and beyond. I didn t have to worry about anything when it came to dealing with the insurance company! They made the process smooth and simple during a frustrating time. Had a great experience with everyone at North Star Auto Body! Stopped by the shop and Dominic took a look at my tailgate that I banged up. He determined the parts he needed to order and took my tailgate off so I could retain my truck and keep driving around without the need for a rental. (Although they generously offered to arrange one for me.) Only a 3 day turnover and my truck looked brand new with absolutely no hassle! Can t thank Anthony Capone and all the staff at North Star Auto Body enough!

Anthony and Dominic were absolutely phenomenal. I came to them after getting in a car accident after having my car for only three weeks. They treated me with the upmost respect and professionalism. I nit picked everything about my car and everything I didn t like they went back and corrected for free in a timely manner an orderly fashion. I cannot express how much I recommend the shop to anyone who drives any car especially high-end cars. Their customer service was world-class I might venture to say it was the best customer service I ve ever had they treated me like family and took care of every ridiculous small request I had. I brought my son s 10 year old Honda CRV to have some dents and scratches attended to. I have been in the car business myself for 40 years, and I ve never been so satisfied with the work as I was at North Star. My son is a fireman and college Student , and car care is a low priority for him, but I have to say that when he picked up his car I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work, as well as that they went above and beyond the scope of the repair by fully detailing the car inside and out. This car has not looked this good since my parents bought it new 10 years ago. We live in Plainview and when he asked me to pick him up when he dropped it off, I said Why would you go all the way to Oceanside for bodywork? He said the shop was highly recommended by his friend and he trusted him. Now I see why. I ve never felt the need to post a compliment for a body shop, but these guys really earned it! Would (and will) recommend them to anyone looking for a fair price with professional results and they are truly a customer service worth writing about.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

These guys did a great job with my truck, got rear-ended in Montauk and they were able to take care of everything right away and deal with the adjuster and car rental no problem. I was able to leave the car rental at the shop and just take my car which was really convenient and nice. Detail on the car looks great, they were able to take out dents and damage no problem, looks brand new!

Brought my Audi q3 into North Star for repair if damages resulting from being hit while car parked they just left the scene.. shame on them! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS about my experience with North Star. Each and every person who works there gives there ALL.!!!!!!! The car is repaired, and PERFECT .This place is amazing they detailed my car inside out. Thank you North Star!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

No one wants to ever get into an accident, but if you do rest, assured that if you take your car to Northstar auto body, your level of customer, service, and care is unsurpassed! They took care of everything from soup to nuts, and returned my car in better condition than it was when I got it! The staff is courteous and professional. We ran into a situation where we needed to transport large heavy things, Mr. Brian Crowder was off from work but saw us in this struggle and didn t hesitate to bring a flatbed to help us through our complication. Truly just an excellent person to do such a selfless thing on his personal time. Blew us away. Thank you so much Mr. Crowder!

I don't know where to begin. The service provided here exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the staff was nothing short of outgoing and helpful. Made the claim process painless, provided me with a rental vehicle on site and made my car look brand new, better looking than the day I had purchased it actually. Its obvious that the staff is experienced. I have nothing negative to say about Northstar. The same cannot be said about my previous experiences at other auto body shops. Just walking in the front door to the office, you know that you've brought your vehicle to the right place. The friendliest staff, a very well put together office and a top of the line facility. The owner is a stand up guy, who is very community oriented and dedicated to his customers. I referred someone recently, while my car was in the shop, and will continue to do so. Thanks for making my car look brand new and taking care of it, like you would with any exotic, 6 figure car that comes into your facility.

Dom is the best! The entire staff is amazing.I ve been here twice for body work due to accidents (not my fault lol) and they take care of everything. From dealing with your insurance to giving you a rental -> they re a one stop shop when your car isn t doing well. They repaired my X3 like factory. They even washed and did a great detail of cleaning on my interior. When you go here, it s like your family. If you re ever in trouble save their number & they ll come tow you! Can t be beat. Best Auto guys around.

Can not say enough about these guys. The entire team is exceptional. Dominick walked me through the whole process and kept me in the loop. The best auto body team! The customer service is amazing. Satisfaction is definitely guaranteed! They are honest when quoting a price and they take pride in there work. I ve had the opportunity of using the experience and expertise of this body shop twice. Both times I have been 100% satisfied with the work done on the cars repaired. The expertise is incredible because the cars were returned as if they were coming out of the dealerships showroom. The office staff is knowledgeable, experienced, courteous, attentive and polite. The office has a wet bar with several types of libations for you to enjoy while there. The repair technicians are just as experienced, attentive and knowledgeable. They approach you to discuss the work done if you have questions. They are very friendly and caring. I highly recommend North Star Auto Body in Oceanside to all who need work done an their cars.

I had the unfortunate experience of coming out of Home Depot to see my care side swiped. I ve use a few other body shops before and every time it was a horrible experience. Between things not being done correctly to no response on the status of the car so i asked around and North Star came highly recommended by many people in the fire service. Anthony was super friendly and made the experience very easy. Despite statefarm taking their time to get the claim taken care of Anthony s team repaired my car very quickly and did an amazing job. I was honestly surprised how well it turned out and I was extremely happy with everything from North Star. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Service: Body & Trim

I brought my car in October 2017, after a guy in a Maserati slammed into my car - and the service was excellent. Anthony Capone and his staff explained the entire process to me regarding the diagnostics of all the damages to my car after an accident, my rights as a customer, and were extremely serviceable when providing me with a rental car. The staff also made themselves available each time I called for an update, they also called me back with updates, as well as allowed me to come in when the insurance adjuster showed up to assess damages and payment amounts. I was able to go into the shop and see my car in pieces and Anthony took his time to explain each of the areas where there was damage, and showed me in detail, along with the insurance adjuster. At the end of the process when I came to pick up my vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my car looked better than when I took it off the showroom floor. The paint job was incredibly flawless, the interior had been detailed nicely and the car smelled new. The men in the shop were nice enough to transfer every single thing into my car from the rental vehicle, including my child's car seat and everything from my trunk. I truly didn't have to lift a finger and I could not be more thankful that everything was taken care of with zero hassle. The biggest joy was going into a facility that was brand new, clean, aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and full of fresh coffee and goodies (that the staff brings to you while you sit comfortably). - I will continue to use North Star Auto Body for all of my repair and maintenance needs, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Hands down.

The staff here is amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, so friendly! My sister recommended them so I tried them out to get a terrible stench from car. They detailed it and restored it to its original beauty, stench free! I m so grateful and would highly recommend them without hesitation!

This has to be the top tier of auto body shops the store front employees are awesome. I would get some more work done for another espresso. My car came out amazing and the dings not involved in my accident I knew would be an eyesore I look down in my cup holder these wonderful people dropped some touch up paint. I don't even know what else to say you have to take your car here there isn't a better option. They really are the best of the best...Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my car here after a minor left rear accident. From the moment i dropped my car off to them, they assured me that i had nothing to worry about, and they were right! The staff is very professional both on the phone and in person, and they are about their word! They exceeded my expectations and made my car look brand new. Shout out to Tom and Dom. After being in my first car accident and having no idea of what to do. Anthony and his team went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Everyone is super friendly, informative and willing to help in any way possible. Although the car was unrepairable I greatly appreciate North Star in all they do and have done for me. Highly Recommended such an awesome shop!!!

I called asking about cracked wheel repair and the woman on the phone politely told me that they do, and that they can look at my car today. I arrived within 10 minutes of calling. When I arrived, I asked if they can take my wheel off and replace it with my spare so they can repair my wheel. The gentleman told me that I would have to take the wheel off myself, as they cant have someone come out to do it for me, or leave the car with them over the weekend. If I come back for headlight repair I hope I would not have to remove it myself first as well.I have not received service from this company so I won't rate it 1 star, but if there's any shining light it's the wonderful phone receptionist. I took my business to No Limit, right next door, and they were able to assist me immediately AND take my wheel off.

North Star repaired both of my vehicles after being involved in vehicle accidents. One repair was from September 2015 and the latest repair work was June 2016. They offer free towing service; assisting with rental vehicles & insurance companies; and the flawless repair work. With North Star's customer service, they actually make repairing your vehicle, less stressful. Anthony (owner) is true professional, very knowledgeable and just an all around cool guy. His office staff is great to deal with. If you need repair work, give North Star a call, you will not regret it.
