Geo and his team are top notch. Very honest and they are the only ones I trust with my rs3's maintenance as well as installation of my go fast parts (as I am very particular). They installed my titanium boost logic exhaust & unitronic catted down pipe as well as my kw H.a.s. kit. They are your go to spot for european high end vehicle needs.

Had European Auto do some much needed maintenance and repairs on my 2002 330xi and I have nothing but good things to say! The service was exceptional, pricing was super competitive and I was walked through the entire process with photos and videos. Highly recommend if you own a European vehicle!

George and staff are top notch! They are very knowledgeable on European Vehicles. I took my Mercedes C class (W204) to do a transmission fluid flush as preventative maintenance. Car shifts gears like butter, smooth as ever. George goes above and beyond for his customers, he is very honest.

Got plenty of work done here for my 2014 jetta gli from a full timing rebuild, engine mounts, lowering springs, trans fluid flush, new brake kit you name it. They never hide nothing and always let you know if your car needs something before what you brought it in for. My experience with this shop and its owner and/or manager, George, was great. Before finding European Auto, I was looking for a capable shop familiar with working on Audi/VW. This place was it. I had an aftermarket exhaust installed here for my Audi b8.5 S5. Getting an appointment to bring my car in was quick and easy, and I had my exhaust installed the same day I dropped it off. After installation, I had to bring my car back as the exhaust system was vibrating (to no fault of the shop -- the brand exhaust I chose was notorious for odd fitment and occasionally causing vibration. After I called and spoke to George about my issue, he told me to bring the car back and he would fix it for free (same day). I did, and when I dropped my car off in the morning, George drove me to the train station out of his own good will so that I didn't have to walk 15 minutes. This shop is experienced and is run by an individual(s) who care. That is what matters when looking for a shop. Also, pricing is good/fair.Service: Exhaust

I always feel like part of the family here. Deep automotive skill sets despite the companies name. Daily s to Trailer Queens Classics, Highly modified, pretty much whatever you can throw at this team on four wheels will go out better than it came in. Trusting a mechanic is tough to come by, especially with more complex vehicles. This is my guy. Don t come here, this way I can get my car done faster.

It's worth mentioning that this is my first major service at a shop in the 10+ yrs I've been driving since I'm a DIYer and I don't usually trust other people working on my car. But I saw the reviews for this place and it's clear that European Auto truly is one of a kindSo I brought my MK6 GTI in for a clutch replacement and was blown away by how smooth everything went. I initially reached out to Georgios by email for a quote and he got back to me with a very reasonable price that I agreed to. Once all the parts came in, I dropped my car off at the shop. By noon the next day, Georgios reached out to provide an update that the car would be good to go within a few hrs. Doesn't get quicker than that, I was expecting this to take days bc of all the other cars parked up in front of the shop... When I came to pick up the car, we talked about the service and my future plans for the car. We had a nice chat for a little longer and then I drove off. So far, no weird noises or leaks and the car runs great. I'm sure they took great care of my car.I 1000% recommend this place, I'll be coming back for sure. George the lead mechanic i spoke with was very cool. I took my car there for air bag suspension related issues and he found multiple issues with the suspension and other unrelated problems.He was nice enough to fix one of the issues there on the spot as it was a safety problem.They work on lots of high end and mid range euro cars. If you have a euro car this is the place to go. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. A must visit for a euro enthusiast in ny.

George will make you feel like family straight from the start. Very honest will tell you exactly what is wrong and what is right. They also powder coated w/ window tint on my E92 335is and absolutely amazing, job skill show. Always respond as long as your patient! They are known to be very busy, b/c who doesn't want to come here?

Superior work on any European vehicle, my Volkswagen never let me down because this shop has always taken care of my vehicle. I had a full timing chain service (including water pump), a walnut blast valve cleaning and a DSG service on my 2010 VW GTI. George was great to work with and kept me informed every step of the way. Very professional, honest, and awesome shop to go to for any needs you have. First job I got was all my vacuum lines replaced for an fraction of the price that audi was charging, and then got a timing job done. During that timing job they found a broken part which caused my misfires, which wasn t standard to check for but they did anyways. Don t hesitate to go!

Brought my passat in with electrical gremlins and within two short days george and his team got my car up and running and was able to save my tune having it run as good as ever. Kept me informed along the way, broke down what was wrong and how they fixed it to make sure what happened wont happen again. If you want your german automobile in great knowledge hands, European auto are the experts to trust

I m a car enthusiast and I m obsessed to a fault. I can be the most difficult customer in the world when it comes to car stuff and I know it. With that said, I can wholeheartedly recommend George and his crew at European Auto of Island Park. He was fair, thorough, and knowledgeable about all generations of BMW. He is also just about the nicest guy to deal with. During college I worked for a firm that negotiated rates for maintenance on fleet vehicles; I ve worked with hundreds of shops across the country. George is top notch, bar none. When I need service in the future (I drive an E46 BMW after all) I won t hesitate to take it back.Service: Engine repair

Recently started using European auto for my long list of BMWs and I have nothing but good things to say.I've had probably 5 or 6 cars there in the last 6 months and European auto took care of each and everyone one of my issues on them. From simple maintenance to electrical diagnostics and subframe repairs. From the 80s cars I've brought all the way to my fathers 2017. Their work is quality. Their customer service is professional, polite and timely. Their work is done on time and pricing is honest and fair. My cars come back clean and fixedI recommend EA to any and all people I encounter. I will continue to use European auto for any of projects / classics I get.I was not compensated for this review. I just believe in applauding great work and often times people only come on here to bash. Not the case here.

I highly recommend this shop. George and the team are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I can't ask for more when I'm looking for a job to be done right. Shops like this are hard to come by and I appreciate everything they're doing here.

These guys are over here running an honest business and being the best at what they do right along with it. absolute no brainer taking your euro vehicle here for any and all service. Geo went out of his way to let me know what I needed for my car. I live about an hour or so away and ill be going to him for any performance upgrades that I have. He is a very helpful and honest person.Update 5/30/23Highly recommend Geo. It s been a couple years since Ive had any issues with my GTI. I had my car dropped off for some unexpected issues this time. Geo was able to keep me updated throughout the day and was able to finish the work very quickly. Brought my old 3 series for control arm replacement. George is a stand up guy and the entire staff is top notch . Extremely friendly, very informative, does the job well and has very competitive rates! If your car s out of warranty it s a no brainer these guys are the best.

European Auto is an amazing place to get your car worked on. Super fast service depending what your car needs. My friend has his BMW worked on here all the time and I went to get my car serviced. George and the team knows what they are doing. George will actually remember you. You want honest and professional work then come here. Plus if you love cars then you ll get a nice car show outside. The guys at this shop are incredible! Their work environment is clean, the employees are extremely knowledgeable, they treat my car like it s their own, and the owner Geo is one of the nice shop owners I ve ever met. I was recommended to this shop by a close friend many years ago and I don t hesitate to bring my cars here at all. From a quick fix, to troubleshooting an issue on my truck to building my weekend car, they take care of it all! European car or not, they will take care of you! I highly recommend anyone and everyone to consider European Auto as their first shop choice.

I've been here several times and I absolutely love the place. George always makes me laugh and feel comfortable, while making sure to explain everything he's doing. I came here for an oil change and to have him check out my RGB color-shift headlights. He took so much time to check out the issue with my lights and even offered to fix it for me at a later date. His hospitality, friendliness, honesty, and sincerity is the best I've experienced at any auto-tech shop. Highly recommend and appreciate this shop.Service: Oil change

The suspension on my 2008 A4 Cabriolet was having major issues so I brought it to Audi to have it looked it. Long story short the whole suspension needed to be replaced. They quoted me a very high amount to do the job. I found European Auto Of Island Park and spoke to George on the phone. He toldMe he would be able to beat that quote exponentially. He wasn t kidding. He ended up doing the suspension, the front and rear shocks as well as valve gasket covers on the engine for a huge fraction of the price. In times like these, savings of any kind are huge and George saved me thousands. His work is impeccable and the car is performing like new at almost a 100k miles. It feels like an Audi again. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone looking to beat the dealers prices. Your car will get the same genuine service that is promised at the dealership and then some at a fraction of the price. It s a no brainer.

I took my 2017 GTI to European Auto for a DSG Service and an annoying clunking noise that was coming from the front end. The DSG service was done really quickly but where they really impressed me was with their honesty in repairing the clunking noise. George identified one safety issue and one potential reason for my clunk. After fixing the safety issue, he was very honest with me about not needing to change out the part we originally thought was causing the issue and did not try to have me pay for it anyway. Long story short, they do very good work and in my experience are very honest. Would recommend.Edit - Came here again in May 2022 for a waterpump replacement on a mk7 gti. Price was really reasonable with a good turnaround time. Great experience again.

I have had multiple cars serviced by European auto. They are a reliable and trustworthy shop who does the job right the first time. They use quality oem or aftermarket parts and price their services very fairly. 10/10 would recommend going to them for your car servicing needs. I highly recommend George and his entire team at European Auto. I ve been to so many mechanic shops in Queens and I ve always been given the run around. Majority of the time, I felt I was brushed off because I m a female in a man s world of cars. But, at European Auto, I m treated with professionalism, courtesy, reliability and honest work. George takes his time to explain to me what issues need to be addressed and answers any questions I have. He goes above and beyond to accommodate me and offers a very quick turn around. Even though I m about a 40 min drive to their location, I will always make the trip because I know I ll be a good hands. I m a very happy customer!
