I cannot begin to tell you how honest Sam is at Samco. It's been a while I know I haven't been up to date with reviews. This is where you want to take your car for a real honest no nonsense price. I cannot say enough about this guy! He also has been looking for an honest mechanic which he hasn't found yet! Sam is the go to guy. I will not take my cars anywhere else!!

Sam is the most honest technician you will come across. He's built a true neighborhood car care center. We don't trust anybody else, not even our OEM dealer without a second opinion from Sam!

I lived in Oakdale nearly 30 years, and today was the first time I had a reason to: my inspection expired and I needed at least two new tires to pass. My longtime car guy recently retired. I met Sam and his daughter, and saw his tomato plants next to the car bays: good vibes. Sam took care of my inspection and tires in a short time, and I m happy to patronize his local small business. I would strongly recommend Samco Auto to everyone!

I just moved to Oakdale and was always skeptical on trying to find a good mechanic. I knew I had issues with my cars brakes but couldn t pin it on something. Came in for an oil change and got the advice I needed. Sam not only helped me out with a ride to and from my house while I did errands but also did the repairs himself while I was at home and then proceeded to pick me up when it was done. Never in my life have I came across a such down to earth dude and great person that is now our new mechanic. I will be back in the future with my white civic.Services: Brakes, Oil change

So, I stopped by this place because it s conveniently located near where I work. I can just drop the car off and come back at the end of my day and everything is good to go!They have done several things for me over the last year...oil changes, brakes, tuneups, you name it. All the work was done well, it is always completed on time, and I ve never had an issue.Sam and his crew are so kind. That s so important too! I enjoy chatting with them. Their prices are realistic and they are always honest about what needs doing and what could wait. If you ve passed this place and were thinking of stopping by, do it! Owner Sammy and his Assistant (Jason (?)) Rock! Both go out of their way to accommodate you to fit your schedule. They are both amicable and sincere. I felt very secure in having them work on your vehicle. In these times it's so important to develop trust in your relationships. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their vehicle looked at or repaired. I had an issue with my Chevy that had been misdiagnosed by another mechanic as well as CHEVY themselves. I was told I would need a new computer, an expensive repair, and was also told the code was for a diesel engine which it clearly was not. I brought my vehicle to Samco and upon thorough inspection, he relayed to me the issue was a simple oil flow valve. Online this part costs $38...big difference from the near $300 quote the dealer was speaking of. The part was replaced, my engine light turned off and I was able to get my car inspected. It runs great! I waited a few weeks before writing this review to ensure my car was truly as well as it seemed and it is. Samco has exceeded my expectations with professional courtesy and vast knowledge of vehicles, not to mention they have saved me hundreds or dollars, time, and aggravation.

I went in because I thought I had a nail in my tire! Sam was happy to help. Turns out it was it was a partial screw that hadn t penetrated the tire. Sam took it out, checked to be sure there was not hole or leak and sent me on my way. He would not take anything for his time; it was 7 minutes top! Sam didn t have to do that but he it was nothing and was happy to help me! Seriously, who does that! I promised that I would go back to him when I needed tires or an inspection. I needed an inspection in a pinch and I pass by this place all the time so I decided to try him out. Sam was able to accommodate my needs at closing time! He was really personable and professional and genuine. I would definitely take my vehicle back here for more work.

I would recommend Samco Car Service In Oakdale, NY to all my friends and neighbors. They are very professional, honest, and reliable. They have the best customer service and their repair prices are very reasonable. Sam is an excellent Mechanic and always gets it done right the first time. He will accommodate his customers for same day service and even offer you a ride to your place of business or home.

My husband and I go to Sam for every car problem we may have. Sam is honest and helpful, he actually saved me $400 by telling me to see if my axle was covered under my car s warranty before he fixed it and sure enough it was! I recommend everyone I know to Samco!

Sam is friendly and always took great care of my Jeep Cherokee. She was old and had some rust issues, and he was amazing at telling me which parts critically needed replacement and what could wait a bit. He always tried to save me the most money possible on everything, which went a long way

New in the neighborhood, called for NYS inspection, Sam told me he had an open bay and bring my car down. Inspection completed within 15 minutes. Discussed a problem with noise I ve been for for over a year. Sam went with me for a drive, diagnosed the problem within seconds. I repaired it the next day. Problem solved!! Thanks. Highly recommend.

Saved me so much stress. Went to multiple shops for an inspection. Sam fixed my issues and got it to pass quickly and stayed late so I don t miss work. If I can give 10 starts I would.

I can t express how disappointed I am for using them. New to area, take my car for an oil change come back they tell me I should have my tires rotated .. when it comes to ring me up my lupo tells me 117 dollars. My jaw dropped.. he told me he used synthetic oil without even asking me which oil I preferred he told my that s the only oil my car can use which is absolutely not true as I have used regular oil in the past every other time. I feel completely taken advantage of and will never return. If I could give less stars I would. Do not go there

Quick, responsive, honest and forthright. Sam doesnt look to do work that doesn't need to be done. He starts with examining the most basic possibility, rather than automatically saying do a complete overhaul which might not be needed. Best service in the Oakdale, west Sayville and Sayville area.

Hard to find good honest mechanics out here now a days but sam at samco car care is the best bery knowledgable and honest and fair with prices one of the best shops in oakdale !!!
