Not sure why all the good reviews, I ve been living in Northport for years and this is by far the worst mechanic I ve ever been to. They are easily the most expensive and they are not honest. They ve told me I ve needed thousands of dollars of work but when I bring it other mechanics they say I do not. It s obvious they try to take advantage of people who might not be as knowledgeable in cars. Plus the work is always done slowly, my car was just there for a week and they didn t even START working on it or call me for an estimate. I brought it to another mechanic in the area, and now it s gonna be done by the end of the day. Save yourself the time and money, don t come here. All other shops in area much more honest.

Eric and his staff are excellent auto mechanics. My husband has been referring all of our family and friends to them for years. They have taken great care of all our cars.

At the end of the day it is all about honesty w auto repair. These guys are as trustworthy as you will find. I was so happy Rich @ Integrity merged with them when he retired. two generations of my family having been going here and wouldn't go anywhere else. super honest people and will fix, service, anything you need for your car. There was one time where my car was missing a tire air cap and they replaced them all free of charge!they genuinely care about the people they work with and are so fair

I'm a relatively new customer at auto service center but they've definitely lived up to their reputation already. They're fair, honest, and do what's best for the customer. I'll be going here for a long time no doubt. Highly recommended.

I ve been going to Derrick and Peter for Over 12 years. Most honest mechanics you ll meet and they do great work. They take the time to make sure you understand everything that s going on your vehicle and give highly valuable consulting that s saved me tons and tons of money. Peter and Derek are excellent mechanics, racing enthusiasts in their spare time, the type to enjoy studying automotive technical documentation when relaxing, friendly, approachable, honest and experienced. Careful, meticulous mechanics, they are reliable and trustworthy over they years and with many various repairs on several makes and models. They are the only ones I would trust to work on my 2004 Toyota Celica GT. And that is saying more than any other words can.Aug 2019 Update: I agree with the other reviewer, Doug, who wrote "...honest, smart and....The guys have really taken the worry out of getting our cars serviced."His words perfectly describe this shop and Peter and Derek. Especially, how they have "taken the worry out" of servicing.

Derek and Peter have serviced our 5 cars for some 6 or 7 years now, and they are awesome. As others have said, they are honest, smart and use the most cost effective approach to repairs. The guys have really taken the worry out of getting our cars serviced.

They do Great repairs the first time and I looked Far and Wide for repair shops. I do not trust Anyone else except Derick and Pete to touch my vehicles! I tell people who are looking for an honest repair shop to go to them. Today at Pepboys (I kid you not),a guy there said he is looking for a mechanic who is reliable and trustworthy to work on his car. He also wants repairs done right the first time and not get ripped off. I gave him Derick/Petes number and said they are the only mechanics you will ever need.This is one of many times I've told people.

So as a first time customer for an NYS Inspection there's always a little trepidation trying to find good, reliable, and honest service. My old mechanic Tim Ryan retired and after searching I found Peter and Derek over here on 25a where Bruce Ketchum first opened many, many years ago. I liked these boys right from the get go - and to the get gone ! Professionals who attended to business and no nonsense shenanigans !

I've been going to these guys since they opened. They know cars, they won't fix things that do not need fixing, and the prices are reasonable. Most important - once a repair is made, you will NOT go back a month later for it to be fixed again.
