Do NOT ever go to this shop! We made the mistake of hiring them to do an engine swap because my wife is friends with their head mechanic. Not only did he have my Jeep for 2 months when he said it would be a week at most. He repeatedly lied to us while missing deadline after deadline. He told us he had finally gotten it fixed and was just working on the codes so it could pass inspection. We told him to fail it and get us a 10 day so we could finally have our 2nd vehicle and make our children s doctors appointments. When we showed up that night to pick it up he didn t have a bill of sale for the engine he allegedly bought and installed. Not only that but the car didn t even start! 2 months and it didn t start! Obviously we had had enough and had it TOWED to another mechanic who immediately was able to tell that all the engine mounts had never been touched! These pieces of garbage not only didn t fix the engine they never even pulled out the old one!The head mechanic DJ is a habitual cocaine user and more than likely took my money to get his fix and has been lying to us this whole time. These people are the worst form of human waste! Do not risk your money or waste your time. I can assure you that you will regret it

Had my vehicle for 6 MONTHS, then as I'm driving it home it almost breaks down. The guy said it "wasn't his problem". Not professional, not friendly, and definitely doesn't care about you or your vehicle. Save your time and money and bring your vehicle ANYWHERE but here.

Worst mechanic I've ever hired. It took them nearly four weeks to replace a transmission. I caught him lying to me several times throughout our many conversations on the phone and in person (usually when asked for an explanation). When I finally received the vehicle back, the work was so poorly done, I had to bring it to the dealership to be fixed. He still hasn't given me the documentation for my warranty he promised over a month ago, and at this point, I doubt it exists. Stay clear of this guy! He may seem pleasant at first but see how much you like him by about week #3.Update: He was unable to provide any documentation of a remanufactured part. I suspect he installed a scrapyard transmission, sold my original for core value, and charged me the price of a warrantied, remanufactured part. This guy is as crooked as they come. Even if you know your way around vehicle maintenance, stay away from this place.

My best friend had her car in this shop. took them almost a month to replace the entire back end. Both days I went there with her, everybody was sitting around doing nothing. The point of going there and getting everything done was for it to pass inspection and to fix the underlying issues, which were many evidently.. there was a clog in the EVAP line. The dude claimed he needed to drive it in order to get the engine light to clear. At this point the car has been there for a month y. 3 days ago I went to see how everything was going with it with her, they claimed it needed to be driven and that "he would see if he could get to it" the following day. They took way too long already so I offered to drive up from Binghamton and buy the seafoam they claimed I needed to put in it as well as drive it. 15 minutes after leaving the shop I'm across from Rodeway Inn and Suites right outside of Ithaca, and the steering wheel would turn but the wheels would not. When I called them to tell them what had happened, they said it was "not their responsibility any more because I left with the vehicle" (which they were supposed to do but apparently didn't have the time to do even though every time I went there no one was working on a car) at this point I got it towed back to Binghamton. I already knew when I was leaving that shop I was not bringing it back there, due to the fact both times I went there, once again, multiple people were standing around doing nothing. I had to drive all the way to Binghamton to get a tow dolly to put on my friend's truck because both Uhauls in Ithaca didnt have any, after all is said and done I paid $90 for the tow dolly, on top of $50 in gas which will not be reimbursed. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING when I went there to pick it up, I asked him if the tires were replaced and he told me yes!!!! I looked at it and the tires were completely and disgustingly BALD. I have a phone conversation recorded of the SHOP OWNER saying he DIDNT REMEMBER if he replaced the tires on the gosh darn car!!!!!! HOW can you possibly forget if you changed tires or not!?!?!?! No receipts were given to her for anything. Moral of the story is, the front sub frame was completely corroded, and fell off. Which caused the axle to come completely out of the transmission. You can't tell me they didnt see the subframe rotting out when the car was first brought there. Highly doubt the sub frame corroded within the month it was there. Funny how all of this EXPENSIVE and dangerous damage happened less than 20 minutes of leaving this shop. Someone could have died driving this unsafe vehicle. Asked them to slap a ten day sticker on it so I wouldn't get pulled over and they were too freaking lazy to do that and told me "it would be good because the sticker is yellow, just tell them you totally forgot" They are definitely con artists. Stole over $600 from my best friend. Who is a great mom and a great friend. She did not deserve this poor service and robbery by these pos people. How do you steal from a mothers wallet? You all should be ashamed of yourselvesP.S. she will win in small claims court. I have all phone conversations recorded. Yall wish I was stupid

Very nice people. Good job on my transmission at a fair price and was quick at getting it in and done. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Dave is the greatest. His place is in the country but don't let that fool you. He is NOT a shade tree mechanic. And to top it off he's honest!!!

When you tack your vehicle there they go out of there way to fix your problem.they are very friendly and the prices aren't to bad
