We stopped in hoping they could fix our Mercedes sprinter. They don t work on sprinters but Mike hooked up the scope to diagnose why the check engine light was on. At least we know it s safe to drive to someone who can fix it.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

Honest, family owned and operated business. I recently moved back to the area and needed to find a knowledgeable, reputable shop for my car that recently ran out of warranty. 100% trust my Benz with this family.

Hans is the best mechanic in Orange County. Unfortunately he only works on Mercedes. He is so good that I am forced to buy Mercedes from now on. Not a problem since they are the best cars anyway. So buy a Mercedes so Hans can be your mechanic. He is that good. And his prices are the best in the foreign car business. If you have a Benz, don't ever go back to the Dealer unless it's warranty work. Let Hans take care of everything else. You won't regret it.

My Family has been coming here since the mid 60s. The quality has been consistently very good. There are so many stories to tell, the kind you would expect to find here and all with good outcomes. Their head mechanic, Hans can handle anything from the most bizarre convertible top failure to performance issues of old diesels. Even my sons Mercedes has been coming to the Garage, when he was living in the area. There are an above average amount of Mercedes in the Newburgh area and it might just be because with help of the people at Xaver's they can be kept on the road economically. Prices are fair and every one gets treated equally. The only thing you should know is that they are sometimes quite backlogged with work. The services at Xaver's Foreign Car Service are top notch! You would think they were trained by a southern hospitality professional. From the moment I stepped into their office, their approach from reception lady to the mechanics, gave me the assurance that they cared for both my safety and the total well-being of my vehicle. On arrival during my second visit, they had no availability for walk-ins, yet they diagnosed and conducted a safe temporary fix on my car to keep my vehicle safely on the road until the date of appointment. This saved me hundreds of dollars that could have been spent on car rentals. I can say that my vehicle has finally found her primary doctor.

I m a tow truck driver and I had to pick up a customers Mercedes there at the shop. When I got there the sales rep Mike was rushing me to get the poor customers car on my flat bed, even after he told me it s leaking coolant and the power steering wasn t working. Mike was rude and wouldn t even allow for the AirMatic suspension to rise. I knew with that s430 Mercedes you gotta allow some time for it to rise but he was nasty and rushing me. I feel because I m Latino is why he was treating me like that but I couldn t understand why would he treat such a beautiful Mercedes like that. I was also curious why he couldn t fix it but I didn t ask because he was so disrespectful. When I got the car to the customers home, the customer explained to me how he rescued the car from them because they were trying to rip him off. It all made sense now why Mike at the shop was treating this guy Mercedes Benz like that but that s still a bad way to do business. I told the customer how the sales rep Mike handle the car behind closed doors. I also feel if I was a White/Caucasian male and not a Latino male driving my flatbed Mike would of had more respect for me.

Excellent MB repair shop. Owner Hans knows his way around MBs. Very decent prices and excellent workmanship. I live in NJ and I will definitely bring my car back when service is needed. They only work on MB and I love that fact.

Top notch they fix my Mercedes from work. If they don't know what the problem is they figure it out. If its a difficult fix the stand behind repairs. Just in case an oops happens and the problem returns they fix it again until it's truly fixed. Fair and honest.

My Mercedes been there 1 month and 9 days just to change Spark Plugs and the Coils. Every time I call it s excuse after excuse. Don t go here if you want your Mercedes back in a decent time.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Used Xavers for my oil change and inspection and to my surprise they even filled my air tires for me after seeing they were in need. They were very professional and convenient and everything was turned around in a timely manner. Hans is a good mechanic. Not sure about the help( His sons) My moms window switch on both sides are broken, the cover to the engine compartment tabs are broken so it won't snap back. The has happen since his kids started working with him. Im so glad Mercedes has a extedded warranty now and the new car will never be at Hans or Xaver'sagain

Better than a Mercedes Dealer: they know the current cars ANY any old Mercedes. 10-2030 or even 40 years old. My dad took his Mercedes there in the 60ies and 50 years later I'm still taking our middle aged Mercs there.Thanks Hans!

Came in to fix my belt. Came back out with more problems than before. My car now doesn t go into drive unless I park it and put it in drive again...... called them about they claimed they didn t cause it. Didn t have the problem until it came out this shop. Not worth it

Good mechanics. Just bring money. Not cheap to service a Benz. But they do quality work
