I've had numerous issues here from curbside pickup, deli and now most recently fruits are terrible. Picked up a party sub that was ordered here and the lettuce and tomatoes were pulled off sub and into a separate plastic container cause the meat and sub were made on wrong date. Who gives a sub like this? Also curbside pickup the deli is such a disaster the employees picking deli items mark them as out of stock or cooler down. Go inside and there is a long line at deli. All in all none of this is employees fault its management and this store is ran like trash.

First time at this BJ s location. Everything was good, they had almost everything we were looking for but then our a check out person forgot to scan my coupons. Thankfully I was paying attention so I caught it before I paid but my friend who was right behind me, was not so lucky and we ended up having to stay in line at customer service to get the refund . Why in gods name does BJ s still use paper coupons anyway?

This is a nice BJ's with a good selection of items. The store is fairly clean inside and the workers are helpful. Prices are better than what you can find on Amazon and sometimes even better than Walmart. They have a good selection of organic items, likely better than Sam's Club or Costco. The gas prices are good too, especially during the recent fuel price increases.

Worst tire center in the area! No customer service, no help at all. Don't waste your time. The guy wanted nothing to do with assisting in the bjs lifetime warranty. Go to the bjs in Monroe. Way better service and care. Something needs to be done about the service in this Bjs. It's terrible. Don't come here.

The store is never staffed appropriately. Always 1 person at the service desk & rarely are there 2 people staffed at the deli. They should have 3-4. The wait at the deli is consistently 25-30 minutes. It is no fault of the employees but poor management.

The rotisserie department has nasty employees. Very bad and nasty attitudes. We waiting an hour for the chicken while they were pissed off talking s%%%. Its so annoying as a consumer to deal with nasty people that dont wanna do their job. FYI there was no management in sight to complain to. Ill just go to Sams Club from now on!

Unprofessional disgusting behavior from staff. BJ s gives you the option of checking out through their app and you can show your receipt at the door to the staff checking receipts. I was forced to wait 20 minutes because they did not have the store device charged to scan my receipt. On top of the inconvenience, the attitude from Joaquin was beyond disgusting. Avoid this place if possible.

Customer Service stinks worst on planet earth. I waited an hour for a simple return on line.This is not my first time completely a return the wait was just as long. I think they discourage their customers indirectly not to visit customer service.

I am 39 weeks prego so I am not walking around such a big store right? Ok, so when I get into the store, I realized they had those electric carts. I have never used them and it was me and my 3yr old trying 2 get it 2 work. A store associate was quick to come and assist me to get me going. (Had to unplug it first) smh lol. He was beyond nice. After my cruise around the store for all I needed, I went 2 self-checkout. (My son loves to help) but there was a gentleman who apparently loves to help also... or he just likes his job lol either way, he scanned all my items 4 me while still allowing my son 2 feel like he was helping. That was beautiful! And as I'm on my way out the door, I stop to grab a box to put my items in for easy transport into my car... the woman at the front door that is assigned to check off customers receipts for leaving the store, saw my little struggle. I grabbed 1 big box for all my items (I wasn't thinking) but she was! She tenderly said "if this is too heavy for me to lift...." then looked at my huge belly. I laughed and said ok let's get 2 small boxes then. She rearranged all my items to fit perfectly into the 2 boxes and informed me I can take the electric cart out to the parking lot. I was so relieved I didn't have to carry them... although I could if just grabbed a cart. But you get the point.My experience at this store was like no other! I am so thankful for the BJ's employees... also to their managers and higher-ups for making the work environment so pleasurable that the employees actually enjoy their job. I will recommend this place to others I know for shopping and for employment. I wouldn't mind working here myself!

Huge fan of BJs. Still need to shop around for better pricing on certain things, but most of the time, the best price is found here. Glad they opened one up in this area.

Update:I wish this store would offer more of a selection of certain items (it s probably cause it s a very small store compared to the others around the area). There are a few items Newburgh does not carry but Wappingers or Brookfield, CT does.Also need to offer more samples while shopping!!!!This store has major issues with keeping items in stock. The freezer and refrigeration sections always has many items out of stock/bare shelves. Even non-perishable items out of stock randomly. The app is useless - shows the item in stock and yet nothing at the store. Monroe and Wappingers Bjs doesn't have this problem.

Tire installation department is a nightmare, great price but not worth the aggravation.Set up appointment 2 weeks ago , go in for install and they ordered the wrong tires. Set up 2nd appointment for 10:30 am and installer was still working on 9:00 vehicle he did not finish with earlier installation until 12:00 pm, when they started my install.Next the technician tells me the can not do wheel alignment because there there are no other technicians to do job.Now they have scheduled me for a 3rd appointment.My grade is F for failure to live up to their commitment.

Worst customer service in this place, I put an order online and when I when to pick up my order I have to wait like 30 minutes to get my order, I ask one of the ladies to help me, but she was too busy talking with the cashier I ask her name she said her name was Guadalupe but she was useless because she moved very slow and she did not care about the customers, will never place an order online again.

BJ's is great they just need to be more consistent with selection. Sam's club has a better selection. The biggest difference is BJ's does cold cuts

I have been a member of BJ s for years I am a business owner and I had the worst experience at the BJ s in Newburgh New York today. I had a cart full of groceries after a long day of running around with my parents who one is in a nursing home and the other home with Covid (both in their 80 s. I shopped for the family brought over $450 worth of groceries went to the cashier and showed them my card on the phone and the cashier and manager would not except it. I explain to him that I had recently change my bag and I didn t have the card in my bag. my grandchildren (ages 2 & 5) were tired and acting up because it s around 7 o clock The manager wouldn t except it and said I would have to come back after shopping for an hour. I went to the customer service desk. first they couldn t find my membership in the computer (even though I told the young lady that she could simply look at the card on my phone for the id number) then they found it printed a card. I came back again which now I had to wait in line all over again with the two young children. the manager was not only not compassionate but he was rude. (A real Jerk) I told him that I had just been in their store and Wappingers the yesterday and they excepted my card on my phone. One of the dresses that I bought for my granddaughter did not have a tag on it. He (Lewis) instead of walking back to get the price said we won t be able to sell it to you I said fine . (Even though my granddaughter liked it so much she was asking to put it on in the car) I ve already called the corporate office and I expect a call back from a executive tomorrow. I worked in corporate America. I am a business owner and I feel like they need to go through some type of sensitivity training on being compassionate instead of giving customers a hard time. we are the reason why they have jobs there. I am sure Louis has a wife, a mother some and sisters that if they were in the same situation he would expect someone to treat them differently. We are both minorities (I think he s Hispanic or Dominican). I m African American. A lot of times there s a little racism there too. A employee in the public sector should be able to show compassion to all customers. I have been a member at Sam s for over 20 years as well. Next time I will be more selective about who I give my business to.

Usually I have great experiences when I shop at this location. There is a checkout associate that needs to find a job in another department. Her customer service is disgusting. She has been rude on another occasion and I thought she was just having a bad day, but today she rang up our items, put them back on the belt and turned her back towards us. Associate 480831 needs training. Home training and professionalism workshops. She won t make it far in life with that attitude - no matter what the job is.

I usually only have one issue coming to the store after work during rush hour time around 4:35 there's only one worker at the deli I can never get lunch meat every time I go there's like four people in line and it takes over a half hour to get lunch meat now I would grab the lunch meat that's ready to go but you guys have this weird obsession with cutting it so thick and it's only sold by the pound if you guys would make half pounds and cut thinner slices I would grab the meat that's sitting ready to be taken.. but it's always too thick and here I am again not getting lunch meat along with more customers who are complaining it takes too long you guys should hire another worker for Rush Hour

Newburgh is lacking severely in stores to shop. They did a nice job with this BJ's. The store is large and has the tire center attached. Always clean so far and friendly staff. I have ordered shop ahead now 3 times. When you go to pick it up they bring it to your car at the side of the building facing Rt 17k. Weird pulling in and out, but make sure you check your online orders. All 3 times I have been missing items from my order. First time it was a 10lb bag of sugar and I had to park and go inside. Annoying. 2nd time it was chips, 3rd time 10 pack of seasonings. Just look at your order and what you place or they place in your car to avoid leaving without something. I always tip them because I know its still a busy job, and some people are probably not as understanding. Great gas prices as well. Forgot to mention the gas station . The lines there can be a 10 min or more wait. SHOCKING with gas prices..... I really like this store and their is plenty of parking.

Removing the barcode scanners from the self check-out registers was a terrible idea. Self check-out is supposed to be fast and convenient for the customers. Customers should not have to lift heavy items from their cart to be scanned. Twice, I went to BJ in Newburgh and had to remove heavy items to be scanned because I wasn't receiving the assistance needed. With the barcode scanners in the hands of BJ employees and them being unavailable, the check-out is no longer fast and convenient.

be careful in buying fruit i made a complaint told that i will get a call back and never did. i bought nectarines i took a bite the inside was black, i cut in to all of them they were all spoiled i even sent pictures not even a call.

This club has a lot of items, but the Wappingers location carries some unique items unavailable in Newburgh. However, it often saves me from going to Sam's club in Fishkill. But Sam's has some superior frozen products than BJ's. For their prices, I find the club clean enough and mostly organized.

I purchased 2 TV's on Black Friday, 11/26, only 1 TV was delivered. When that TV was delivered, I knew it was going to be a problem because I have been on the phone for weeks trying to see where that TV is. I told them I bought those TV's and needed them before Christmas. It was later told to me the TV went missing while moving through transit. They never tried to get me another TV before christmas. I even said I will go into the store and pick it up. All they told me was no, they can't do that. Never giving me any solutions for their mistake!!! Everytime I had to call BJ's to figure out what was going on. I had to run out and buy another TV, just so I would have one for Christmas day for all my guests. Now I'm trying to get a refund for that TV and, I'm not even getting that!!! They keep saying they have to send an email, but noone is responding to the reps emails in escalation!!! ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK FOR THE TV THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED, THAT SOMEONE EITHER IN BJ'S STOLE OR THE DELIVERY COMPANY YOU HAVE CONTRACTED WITH STOLE!!!!

They never really have everything in stock such as water, fabric beads & sometimes the items are held up high in pallets & there's no one to bring them down during the day so I'd rather leave whatever else I grab to go to another bjs for my staple items. I'm not making two separate Bjs trips in 1 day I don't have that time.
