We love it there. Always go there for our service needs and gas. Attendants are nice and the service manager, Travis, is the best person. We trust him. And that says something about a car repair guy. Even his mom and dad who own it are pretty cool

I'm so glad a friend recommended this shop. They explain what's going on and my truck ('05 Frontier) hasn't been this nice to drive since I bought it 6 years ago. I'll never go anywhere else as long as I live up here.

The tow driver was great today! My insurance company said it would be almost 2 hours before they could get a driver to come get us, but he was there in maybe 30 minutes. He took great care of us. I sincerely hope I never need another tow anytime soon, but if I do I'll be sure to call him

Took my truck in for a state inspection. Unfortunately, it didn't pass because of loose tie rods. The service department showed me everything that was needed, and an upfront cost as well. Very knowledgeable, helpful & quality service oriented group!

I used them for a tow through Geico. The positive : Owen was very helpful and got my car where it needed to go and followed up with me as requested. The bad : the dispatcher needs a crash course in bedside manner. Good lord. He needs to be taught how to deal with people who are stressed out over whatever is going on with their car. He was irritated and talking down to me from the first call. Yes I called several times and wanted updates - I was getting conflicting texts from Geico about the status of my tow. He was irritated I didn t inherently trust him to get the job done - I ve never used or heard of your business and you are towing my brand new 40K car that I had to leave at a gas station , yea I m gonna be following up and watching closely. A little compassion for a stressed out person would go a long way. There s too much anger in this world. Being in car repair and towing you are going to have to deal with stressed out customers. Please learn how or go work a job where you don t have to interact with humans.

If your vehicle gets towed here I feel sorry for you. In order to get anything out of the vehicle they give you two options, either pay the bill or sign over your vehicle just to get your things out of your car. Not to mention they went through my car without permission and took my stuff out and held it inside.

Once again I am stunned again by Union Street Automotive, very honest people who charge fair prices. My sister brought her car back to union street after having an issue with leaking fluid related to another shops repair job, the mechanics at Union Street did dye tests and figured out it was simply some loose bolts. If you're worried about a shop trying to pressure you into maintenance you don't necessarily need or doubt their integrity look no further. Union Street Auto has your back!

I brought my car in to these guys and I can't rave enough about the awesome service! They did exactly what my car needed at the time, and suggested a few things that needed attention. I will definitely be going there before anywhere else for service on my car. Very friendly staff, fantastic service and good prices. Yes, I do recommend this place.

I needed to get my old rust bucket towed from my house to a dealership. Union st was the company sent by my roadside assistance. I received a call from the driver within 5 minutes of my request to confirm the details and he said he would be here within 30 minutes. He arrived before the 30 minutes was up and was very friendly and efficient, even though it required a bit more work than I think he expected. I would definitely recommend these guys for towing.

This is by far the best kept secret in town! Friendly service, fair prices and excellent service + knowledgability on all things automotive (and then some!). I have been going there since I moved here almost 8 years ago + they keep my car running in tip-top shape (and my car is almost 10 years old). Whether you just need gas, a quick drink, accidentally run over something + need your tire fixed in a flash, an inspection or major repairs...they are THE ONES to go to! Great place, great people...you can't ask for anything more :)

Recently my dad and I brought his Ford Ranger in for an inspection. This has been my dads garage for quite some time. Dad has had almost ALL of his repairs here unless it had to go to the Ford Dealer. We arrived on time and a young man came out, took the keys and instead of taking it into the garage for its inspection, took it for a DRIVE down the street first. WHO DOES THAT WHEN YOU GO IN FOR AN INSPECTION? I can see if there was an area of concern and then they told you but this was not the case. We waited an hour and then my father ( who is 88 and in poor health) went back to see what the story was. They failed his truck, took the sticker off and gave him an estimate for almost a thousand dollars. Dad was taken back. They said he needed wheel bearings and ball joints. He had new rotors a year ago and bearings were packed. In conclusion: we DID NOT have the work done there, thank God. We took it to a highly recommended place in Canandaigua and they ( without seeing WHY it had failed) did their own inspection and said the ONLY THING that was needed was the axle nut needed tightening, packed bearing and inspected it. From almost a thousand dollars at Gulf to 66.00 at our new garage . Why go back when you find the best. These folks in Canandaigua go by word of mouth referrals and don t need to advertise. The mechanic even brought dad and I back to show us what he saw. Bye bye Union Street Gulf.

So I brought my van to them in August because it wouldn t start. They did a diagnostic and told us it was the fuel pump. Ok $662 later we were back on the roads. Fast forward to June 15th. The van dies on me a block away from home. So I call Union street and they couldn t get my van in until next Tuesday. Ok phase 3 just opened up so I understood why they were so busy. So in the meantime I called the dealership where I bought the van to see if they could get my van in sooner and sure enough they could look at the van on the 18th! Yes! But oh no... the dealership told me it was... the fuel pump! Oh hold up I just had that replace in August. So they showed me where you access the fuel pump and the access plate and the fuel pump are the original parts! Are you kidding me! Ok well if it s the fuel pump then it s still under warranty so bye bye dealership (he offered to replace it at and just charge us for the pump, no labor because they knew we being taken advantage of). So I have the van brought back to Union Street and a get a call from Travis and he says that it s the fuel pump harness. They adjusted some wires that melted according to Travis and got the van to run. He told me that to replace the harness it s gonna cost anywhere up to $1800! So to replace the harness is 3 times the price of a new fuel pump? I m not doing that. So Travis says he can send a mechanic to a pick and pull but he gonna charge me for the time it takes for him to find one and get it out so at least another $200 already. Now I m scratching my head because all the pick and pulls I know of they pick the part for you so you don t have to waste time looking around. I guess what baffles me is what the dealership said. They never replaced my pump. Oh side note... the tow truck driver from Union street that got the van from the dealership told them that all my repair paperwork at Union street can t be found. It s hard trusting mechanics as it is and we explained that to Travis when we started bringing our car to them last year. But I guess some places just don t care like this one. Anyone what the name and contact info on the dealership I went to send a reply. The guy at the dealership gave me his personal number. He felt really bad for us getting used.

If I could give a negative star I would ... Was told one price then other "fees" were added completely unprofessional do not go here. Avoid at all costs. I will be filing a better business bureau complaint with copies of everything I received.

Gave me one price, then charged me more for less work. Last time we came here took 3 weeks to get the work done. Very rude and offensive tow truck drivers. Tols one price over the phone, then there charged us more. Would not even listen to us when we asked why.

They towed my car first time following an MVC with a deer and the second time being towed to the body shop. Excellent crews. Thank you.

Definitely go here for an inspection if you want to fail or pay for needless parts and labor. By far the biggest scammers I've come across ever. My brother worked here he forgot to mention to me until after they tried to force me to let them do thousands in non needed repairs that the owner intentionally makes the employees find ways to make you buy repairs you do not need.

Very reasonable gas prices. They still pump gas for you and clean your windows. Friendly staff and they do a great job in the shop as well.
