My boyfriend ordered parts that were going to be in by noon, prepaid for them and when we went to pick them up, on the door was a haphazard sign written in sharpie, sorry closed. He wasn't able to even get the parts from a different location on something that needed to be fixed immediately. Went back at 8 pm, all the lights still on but still had the hand written sign on the door. I understand things happen but it's not very professional.

Purchased a battery there today and the salesman didn't even offer to carry it to the car for me. I'm 84 years old and found it to be a struggle. Also he could not recommend where I might have it installed. Won't go there again.

Its alright... (Honestly I prefer the Macedon location, and yes, it has everything to do with the employees.) The guys here are nowhere near as good as the the guys in masedon. I concede this is subjective, and is a personal opinion. To be clear i should state this only applies to the general time of writing this post. Clearly the employees at either location are not static, furthermore some employees may grow into a greater wealth of knowledge therefore negating this statement.

My husband and I went to buy some brake pads, there was only 2 employees at the counter and one of them was with a customer, so we waited he finished with the customer and they both just started talking on the phone and didn t even acknowledge us, I would of appreciate a we ll be right with you but nothing, no eye contact or anything!! And WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS THERE!!! Horrible employees can t even say horrible service because THERE WASNT ANY SERVICE OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM THEIR PART!!

Manager helped me .. very upset he was all alone with no help and it was swamped. He was kind and helped me put a new battery in in-between customers.

They are very helpful with diagnostic tests to determine whether your car needs work. You can borrow a tool when you dont have one and they'll install your wipers if you dont know how. This is a great and reasonably priced place for all your auto needs.

Went to auto zone three employees there couldn t even be bothered so came here great atmosphere and employees. Went above and beyond. Definitely the only auto store in Newark worth your time and money.

My 2008 Tahoe got an attitude just because I was looking at a 2021 Yukon. About 30 seconds later my engine quit. So sensitive. Anyway, I limped the Tahoe back to Wendy s in Newark. I figured it was my throttle position sensor. So I ordered one up from across the street. I walked over and picked it up about 20 minutes later. While I was there I was thinking out loud and said I needed some sockets. Bam! Bill produced a socket set for me to borrow. That was really appreciated! Thank you, Bill!I was able to repair the truck and get on my way. I m still thinking about that Yukon though!Thank you Bill and everyone at Advanced Auto in Newark, NY. You folks have always done right by me!

Sold me a defective transmission line. Blew out and caused transmission to fail. We have had a claim in for 4 months now for reimbursement. They keep avoiding the issue, saying you have to talk to someone else who isn't them but they won't give out the contact information.UPDATE: They covered the claim after about 4 months, updated to 4 stars.

I have been going here for years. Today was the last straw. If u don t know what you are talking about then say that. Don t throw your hands up and stamp away Really..... I the parts I have got hear. No more no way I will spread the word to. Should get a negative star

I went here today for brake pads and left there with answers to multiple questions. A man named Ariel helped me. He was FANTASTIC! Ive dealt with many people there and he is by far the best. He came out to my vehicle with me and looked at things and even helped me figure out why i couldnt get my a.c to charge. He has the best customer service skills of anyone i have ever dealt with at auto-zone or napa. Ive had a few lousy experiences with a woman that works at Advanced that has discouraged me in the past to go back because she made me feel inferior multiple times for being a female and not knowing very much since she is also female and knows quite a bit. Knowledge means nothing to me without good customer service skills. Ariel made me feel comfortable and has changed my mind about Advance. This will now be my go to place for all of my repairs now that I know I can ask for him specifically.

Great store. Good Customer service. The only negative was their diagnostics computer was down so I couldn't get my codes read.

Only given a 3 due to the staff are not properly trained and do not have much knowledge about cars or the parts they need you will often have to return the part u need at least 3 times before receiving the right parts
