Very expensive. Will not return. Nickel and dime fees that are not disclosed at time of estimate. Reported to better business bureau. No attempt at service recovery when issues brought to attention of manager.

This is a fantastic, family owned and run repair shop. They ve been working on my Subaru for a few years now. They are always willing to show me exactly what they are going to do, advise against unnecessary work, and even helped in a situation where I was towed in unexpectedly. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Rasto was the one who fixed my window rollers and was also kind enough to explain why the part that I found under the seat was there. It was an extra part, but he assured me that he did put the right parts in the door panel, so there was no need to worry. Thank you, Rasto, for your explanation. I appreciate that very much. I have often beenhi extended the courtesy from an employee that the business owner failed to extend. Good business always depends on establishing good relationships, which is something more business owners need to keep in mind. Never let a customer walk out dissatisfied. My final action was to have my beautiful classic 850t5r towed OUT of there due to the owners attitude and inaction regarding repair of my car. He thought it was proper to let my car sit under the Metro North tracks and collect surface destroying dust while not giving me the courtesy of when he would begin the needed repair. I also had my turbo coolant hoses replaced, and that job was done well. I finally located a pleasant and capable master mechanic somewhere else who appreciates my car and does excellent work in a timely manner. Autobahn doesn't have to worry about me EVER coming back to their shop. The owner claims that he is not a bigot, but although I was very cordial, he certainly did not treat me with respect.

This place is the best! As a person that doesn t know much about cars, I ve always felt taken advantage of in the past by other auto bodies. SO different with this shop- these guys have told me on two separate locations a service wasn t needed after inspecting the car instead of going ahead anyway and charging me (once telling me the brakes were fine and didn t need to be replaced and once when I asked for an alignment after new tires were put on but was told I didn t need it). I really value their honesty and service. The front desk is also super helpful when I call. Highly recommend!

I have used Autobahn in the past twice and was satisfied the first two times that I used their service. The last one is where they replaced my turbo coolant hoses and the job was good. Thanks to Rasto, who fixed my window rollers, I now understand what the part was under my seat that I found. It was a part that is already in the door. So now all is good If it wasn't for Rasto I don't think I would have given such a good review. The owner, Stephan, was not so courteous towards me. Businesses should always strive to make good relationships with their customers.

After our catalytic converter was stolen while parked overnight on a Manhattan street, we received exemplary service from Autobahn: kind, considerate, rapid, and priced fairly. They are a family-run business that provides personal reasonably priced service and we can t praise them highly enough. We d certainly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs (and not only for German cars- their specialty - we have a Toyota).

I highly recommend using these guys because not only are they truly professional, but they are courteous as well. I woke up last Friday trying to move my car for alternate side parking, and the car just couldn't start. Not only they recommended an excellent and affordable tow-truck company, but they also provide affordable service. I picked up their visit card, and I intend to use their services again. Willi which is a mechanic at this auto shop was very polite. He had his coworker tighten up the wheel nuts on my Honda Accord and the brake line as well. He didn t charge me due to it being an emergency fix. I highly recommend this place for any fixing that is needed. Although he couldn t do the power steering issue he did say when I get the funding I can go to him and he ll have it done the same day as long as I let him know when I have it.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I found this place when I wanted to get some Tire Rack tires fitted. Not only did they do a great job, but I have returned everytime my car needs a service, and have never been happier. They are efficient, offer good prices, and they know German cars. I will not take my car to anyone else. Just booked another appointment for my next service, and am sure they will continue to exceed my expectations.May 2013-UpdateBack again for annual service, and all was great again. Very fair prices, and only do what is needed, I still highly recommend this place for service of German cars. Well run, efficient, fair, and above all, honest. Glad I found this place.

Coming to Autobahn Service Center to get my car checked out was a great experience. The main mechanic was very friendly and helpful. Aside from the cost of labor the quality of the work, communication and helpfulness was excellent.I did have some issues with how they billed me for service rendered. When getting a quote for labor to do a certain job they over estimated the hours to do the work. They also charge 120/hr for labor so this is a considerable cost, especially to work on an American car. After noting this to the mechanic he reduced the labor hours when i came back to pick up the car. This gave me a sense that they were honestly trying to give me a real quote. Keep in mind that German cars are their specialty.If I have a German car I most likely would not take it anywhere else. However due to the cost of labor I most likely will not be coming back again.

These folks are awesome. Beautiful customer relations. My sister, who takes her vehicle there recommended this place. Prices are fair, great communication and the whole staff is excellent. Please stop by and at least check them out.

Stefan and his team have nursed my 2001 Audi back to health a number of times and have helped me reach 180,000 miles. There are numerous times when he has gone above and beyond helping me to fix only what is needed and at prices far below the dealer. He is honest, never pushes unnecessary repairs and approaches problems creatively. I could not be happier with the service.

I wouldn't recommend these guys to no one i gave them $7000 and the same day when i got the car had to bring it right back for something they broke while doing repairs 2 weeks later the car still feels the same and the same problem they was supposed to fix is still leaking. So i Went back and this guy Stephen the boss told me he is not fixing the problem they did a side from that i notice they did not change my parts looks like they put some junk yard parts on my car they did not reset my break lights and it is still sqeeking they do not even have the right. Computers are equipment to be working on foreign cars they are total ripe offs juss save your money and go to someone else because ones. You give your money up theres no getting it back on less you go to court and that would be more money down the drain im going to report these guys for fraud.

I've been taking my '03 M5 to Autobahn since 2010 and would not think of taking my car anywhere else. The staff at Autobahn is very knowledgeable, meticulous, courteous and their prices are very fair. Anyone with a German car should bring it to Authobahn!

Very nasty attitude want charge u for something u already know all iwas paying for the job fix n labor told me no go somewhere else im would no recommend this place they trying rip u off and if u don't no anything about cars u will get rip off

Very nice facility. There was a beautiful baby shower and everything was put together very nicely. I was so impressed I called to see if I could host a birthday celebration for my mom who is turning 85 years old.
