I needed a tire change due to a flat as well as new lug nuts on one tire. The employee who helped me gave me an attitude and would not replace the lug nuts. In edition, the put was on tire on incorrectly (pictured). two lug nuts were put on so loose I could easily turn it with my hand. One wrong bump and I would've been in an accident. I also saw an employee smoking in and around my car while they were working on it. Terrible service, terribly lazy and disrespectful.

Don t worry about being on time. Even if you have the first appointment, you ll still wait 20 minutes until someone even comes to the desk.

Will never go back to Walmart for tires ever again! After spending $1,030 on 4 tires. They Blamed me for them installing a dud tire saying I shredded the inside of my own tire by driving it 2 days. And nothing they can do to replace the garbage tire they gave me ! Not recommended for anyone . They did nothing but try to cover their own and blamed me as a customer.Service: Tires

I Scheduled an appointment here (new Hartford Walmart) to swap out old tires for new ones, get them balanced and mounted. So I Dropped my car off and the guy I gave my keys to said it would be done in around 45 mins. 45 mins later I got a call from the manager at first saying I got the wrong size tires but later admitting that he refused to put them on bc they weren't the size listed on the side of my car door. I tried to explain that I had different size rims that's why the tires were a different size and I had talked to another employee the day before that explained to me that in order to mount a wheel with new tires they would have to be the same sz wheel/tire that was mounted on my car presently or that was labeled on the inside of my door. He said that who I talked to was new and that was how they trained they're employees. Also it wasn't they're fault and would not be mounting my new tires. So I definitely would not recommend going there even for something simple and definitely nothing tech.Service: Tires

Bought two sets of tires, can't beat price for tires and install. As far as auto shop you cannot schedule an appointment so first come first serve. I came on two separate occasions to mount tires and had two people ahead of me each time, first time wait of 3 hours and second time of 4.5 hours (so drop your car off). Reason for 3 stars is that Mr. Patel gave me a hard time because I have 18 inch rims instead of 20 inch as it says on door of my car, and said they cannot install for that reason and told me to go to Pep Boys. I said I want to speak to manager and he then checked on computer that my car does also come with 18 inch option and that I have the right tires and so it's okay to do the install. You should not threaten person with manager to get them to do their job. Otherwise five stars.

I bought all brand new tires from here and when I left the car shook over 60 mph. I brought it back and they would not rebalance saying it was an alignment issue. (Its not just had one) I had to take it over to mavis and pay for them to rebalance the wheels so it was safe to drive. Walmart is lazy, unprofessional, and a rip off. I will never buy tires here againor use any auto service. Zero stars is more like it.Service: Tires

Called me two hours before my online order for tires were to be installed and told me they close at 4:00pm even though online it says 7:00pm and the appointment was set for 6:00pm. Then they told me the tires didn t even come in yet. Literally a clown show I planned my day around having the tires put on. Funny how it says everywhere that they close at 7:00pm because it sounds like they just don t want to work past 4:00pm.Service: Tires

Had a plug fail, but needed new tires anyhow. Despite a long line ahead of me, I got four new tires at a great price and the staff was great! They even told me about some needed repairs that their shop doesn't do... Great customer service! I highly recommend them!

came here after my battery failed couple of days after the warranty manager was rude never helped they broke my battery cover while testing doesn t deserve zero stars will never ever come here called Walmart in Rome NY they helped me replacing my batteryAlso my car brake light not working after i left and they broke my battery cover

Wanted to purchase 4 tires and no same day installation so called Rome Walmart and they said I might have a short wait which I understood. Rome was very helpful !!

I want to thank the automotive manager at the New Hartford store, Howard. Howard went over and above to get my tires and have them installed. Thank you for your effort, compassion and knowledge, you restored my confidence in Wal-Mart again.

Cherie was the cashier in the auto center. She totally disregarded customers. She kept telling customers that we close at 7pm. When I walked in at 610pm. Cherie kept leaving the counter to walk around. Cherie decided to attend to a customer. Who waited 2 hours for a service that should have taken at least 45 minutes. After the customer told her they didn't want a receipt. Cherie was very snippy. To all of us waiting. This place is horrible. Just take out the auto center. You have employees who are not interested in helping the customer.

Ordered two tires for a great price with great value! Was supposed to be in my doorstep tomorrow afternoon . They were waiting for me before my return from work!

Horrible customer service! If you call you get attitude and told you should look up online for what's in stock. Then waited over 2 days more for the tires then they said and gave you attitude whenever you talk to them or ask any questions if they don't hang up on you first

Good amount of product. Having a diesel in the winter you should carry anti gel. They always have a ton on stock.

The service is very slow , there is not common sense to fix or resolve any issue ,.The service was not great before but my last visit was horrible.Not common sense at all.I hope it gets betterService: Tires

Only one in lube bay took over 2 hrs to get done set for over an hr before he even started standing around talking was higher on the list I guess
