James and his crew have been taking care of us for more than 20 years and while he may not always give you answers you like, he's always very honest and fair in what he suggests. And that's high praise for this business.

About 2 months ago, I went to another auto shop for an oil change but they told me my car couldn't pass inspection because of a taillight issue. They would like to charge over $150 to fix it to pass the inspection. But I recalled last year that my car passed inspection in spite of the issue they told me. From then on, I have been trying to find a garage that I can trust. Thanks to my friend's help, I found this place. The inspection and oil change were quickly done without any upselling. Definitely recommend!

I ve owned multiple vehicles for nearly 50 years as a driver. 20 years of which I ve used Rickland Auto , James. The absolutely best , fairest and most service oriented repair shop I ve ever used. James is a hands on owner that understands both cars and people. He has baled me out of multiple situations many times when time was of the essence, like when my kids had to be back in school quickly or a vacation that I needed a repair immediately. James is well priced and considers the safety of your vehicle of paramount importance. I really can not say enough about him. Actually, James is the only business that I ve ever wanted to take the time to review. so put that in your pipe .

Rockland Auto Repair is the first place I go to have my vehicles repaired. I've had my vehicles serviced by Rockland Auto Repair for more than 10 years and am very satisfied with the service. I've lived in 4 states and moved countless times. Ive seen alot of mechanics. But James and the guys ar Rockland Auto Repair are honest, good guys. I've been going here for 7 years. I live in NJ, and I get my car repaired here. Its worth the trip.

Probably the most trustworthy and dependable repair shop in the area. I've been going there for just over a year and James and his employees have always been fantastic. They answer my questions patiently and have even been kind enough to late, last minute quick fixes for me. I couldn't recommend then any higher!

It's hard to find a good mechanic that's honest these days but, James at Rockland Auto Repair is just that. Shop is run very professional. He also always takes the time to explain things to me thoroughly which is appreciated.

I called for an appointment. I talked to person by name James. He said they don't accept any new customers only existing customers. It was very bad experience from that conversation.
